Troubleshooting 101- Character Issues

Advertisements

Bunny here. Putting on my glasses, getting out my pocket protector, and getting my magic fingers and thumbs ready to type those zeroes and ones. Basically…it’s Nerdy Time!!

For whatever various reasons, our game likes to frak with our minds and heads and nothing seems to quite go right. We panic. Throw our device. Scream. Yell. There may be many tears as well.  Just slowly take your thumbs/fingers off the device or you may crack the screen. Lol.  It’s ok. I am here to help. All of us are. Promise.

Getting irritated because you have looked EVERYWHERE and still unable to find your character? New update just hit and you do not want to spend your precious donuts to speed up the task for a character you need to start new quest? Well here are a few things you can try to help you out.

Some of the characters in the game are hard to see mainly due to their size. I have “lost” Rodd n Todd many of times. I do like that EA gave us the character finder. I would wonder and really like if EA was able to have it go to the location of the task they are currently in too, like the building (hint hint EA). So what do you do if you just can’t find your character or need them RIGHT NOW? Well here are a few steps you can take.

1: Krustyland- Some of the characters can go there too. So head on over to see if they were left on a task in Krustyland. If they aren’t on any tasks, they will actually follow you between the two locations.

2: Search Buildings- This may be quick or time consuming depending on just how many buildings you have. Try to clicking on the buildings the character’s main tasks are associated with. See if they are still there.

3: Check Task Book Menu- If your characters are given a specific quest line task, they will usually be linked to one of those icons on the left in your task book. Click through each one and see if they are just in the midst of completing a task.

4: Force Them to Come Out- (This also works if you don’t want to waste precious donuts to speed up a task and need a character right away.) Many of the characters are linked to a building within the game. You can check the list here to see who goes with what. If you want to get your character front and center quickly, just go to your menu on the right bottom corner, select the arrows to move items, and store the building the character you need is associated with. Once you replace it, the character will be standing right next to it. Note: this does not work for Homer or Lisa and the Simpson Home. Sorry.

So there are a few more helpful tips to keep you going in your game when you feel something just isn’t going your way. As always, we are here to help and share all we can with you. Let us know if it has worked for you.

Now I am off to see if that cool looking Limited Time Submarine has docked yet. I wanna see who is on board. 😉
