Hello hello to all you TSTO warriors. All this battling has got the resident fuzzball’s brain going a bunch of different ways. My town has certainly become a war zone and I’m finding myself in a heightened state of creative readiness. That being said, my town is every day being tinkered with. I even resurrected an old 2D lettering job of mine. I think it both sums up this event nicely AND shows my love for one of my favorite things. Nothing super fancy but click more if you’re interested.
I made this once upon a time during a chaotic episode in the TSTO blogging world for my bud Mike Shuman over at TSTOTopix. Whenever things are crazy, my fail safe has always been humor plus I really enjoyed tweaking the iconic lettering of my favorite film franchise.
Of course, TSTO is at war now but in a much better way and I felt it was time to bring back the logo. Because I’m always looking to tweak my designs, I also added some color. I initially wanted to color this yellow but the burning bushes required was outside my price range. I guess orange will have to suffice.
I don’t know about you, but this really makes me jones for some Star Wars stuff in TSTO. How could May 4th have come and gone with nothing? Probably doesn’t help that I watched the Mark Hamill episode during the FXX Marathon.
And that’s all I really have to say about that. What do ya think? Got any unique lettering you’ve done you’d like to share? Do you love “the Wars” as much as this walking carpet? I have a few 2Ds percolating in my brainpan for the future so my next 2D post should be much better. I also heard rumor that bunny foo foo has plans too.
