Around the World Prize Guide: Act 1, Prize 4 Bastille

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Pack those bags and grab your boarding passes because it’s time to go Around the World with The Simpsons!  The Around the World Event is in full swing in our pocket-sized Springfields and that can only mean one thing….all new prize tracks to work our way through!

This Event is broken up into 3 Acts, with each Act containing part of the story.  To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act.  Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event.  For the First Act you’re tasked with collecting French Pins () to unlock each prize!

The fourth Act 1 Prize awarded at 25,256  is bastille, because every event needs a awkwardly shaped building in the prize track…

So let’s take a closer look at this fourth prize and just what happens when you unlock it in your Springfield…

Once you’ve collected 25,256  you’ll automatically be awarded Bastille and you’ll see this message popup:

And you’ll have the option to place it in your Springfield immediately or store it in your inventory for later.  Remember if you store it you’ll have to go back into your inventory to retrieve it.

Bastille does come with some an short questline, here’s a look:

Lisa: Behold the Bastille, Louis XVI’s notorious royal prison, until it was destroyed in the French Revolution.
Homer: Doesn’t look so bad. I bet Nicolas Cage could escape from it.

Marge starts

Marge: I shall! Also a case of canned ham to keep up thy noble strength.
Lisa: Is there anything worse than historically inaccurate role-play?
Bart: Hearing you complain about it.

Technically the 750 Sky Credits are next (awarded at 29,907)…Note: this is NOT a building.  But since the Sky Credits aren’t something tangible for Springfield, just more crafting currency added to your total.  The next price we’ll cover is…

Cesar and Ugolin- Awarded at 40,372.  This will be the next prize we breakdown in the prize guide post.
