Yesterday the Destination Springfield removal update hit our app stores and with it arrived a new questline for Sailor Kumiko. Something fun to keep you tapping even though the event is over. So, let’s take a look at the full dialogue questline for Sailor Kumiko….
UPDATE: It appears that EA has released another update removing the tourists from the store. Not sure if it’s an attempt to fix the bug detailed below or if they weren’t intended to be in the store at all, only time will tell. For now, please don’t panic about not seeing them. They’ve disappeared for everyone, me included.

The Destination Springfield/Around the World removal is live now in App Stores. So if you’re looking to remove the event officially from your games download it now…otherwise you can keep collecting pins/sky credits until EA forces you to update (remember it’s borrowed time…). Here’s what’s referenced in the app store:
What’s interesting about this (and we’ll have more breakdown on this) is the reference, once again, to Military. This was also referenced when the Christmas Event was removed….
Beyond that, there are few changes. One funny one is some incorrect wording in dialogue:
So yes, you can purchase Tourists (60 Donuts) BUT there’s something screwed up with the coding. So hopefully EA will jump in a fix this shortly.
Another change is, if you’ve purchased Sailor Kumiko she’ll now have a Sailor Kumiko specific questline.

A Quick Note: There’s a glitch right now for many of you with Norbert’s Plane. You’re unable to get it. There’s a thread about it here on EA’s forum and a few of you have mentioned that you’ve contacted EA about it. EA has advised some of you that they will be releasing a patch to resolve this issue. I have not spoken with EA about this, so I’m just going off of what some of y’all are telling me. My best advice is to contact EA, let them know you’re impacted as well.

Just a reminder that the Around the World Event Ends TOMORROW March 7th. (I just realized I made an error on my time from yesterday, it appears it ends at 9am ET, 2pm GMT)
This means that you will want to make that final push to gather up all the things you want from the Event before it goes with the Event.

With the Destination Springfield Around the World Eventcoming to a close, I figured it wasonce again time for another meeting of TSTO Anonymous. Welcome! What is TSTO Anonymous? Well, it’s our version of a support meeting (said with my tongue in my cheek) that has turned into a nice thing we do occasionally just to give folks a positive message, some silliness, or a place to commiserate. You can find previous meetings here. While these meetings don’t happen as frequently as a fuzzball would like, I can always plug the the Sunday Open Threads as fill-in sessions when I can’t think of topics or life/game stuff is too busy to hold one. This Event is broken up into 3 Acts, with each Act containing part of the story. To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act. Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event. For the Third Act you’re tasked with collecting Brazilian Pins (

The sixth Act 3 Prize awarded at 40,829 is the Samba School, because every Act needs a musical number finale….
