Should I Spend Donuts On the Training Plane?

Advertisements

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

The military event, long teased in the app store descriptions, as finally hit our towns and the kids of Springfield are about to get schooled at the finest Military Academy virtual money can buy…in Springfield.  Yes, Rommelwood Academy is here with all the drills, in your face spitting yelling and military inspired premium items our pocket-sized Springfields (and wallets) can handle.

Of course with that limited-time label it can be tempting to buy everything that looks awesome because it’ll be gone soon.  But don’t sweat it!  That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.

Wondering if you should add the Training Plane to your Springfield?  Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this blade spinner to your Springfield…

Decoration/Building: Training Plane
Donut Price: 75 Dounts
Earns: 20 , 30xp/12hrs (Earns $300, 30xp/12hrs when you’re done with coins)
Bonus %: 2.5% bonus on all cash and XP
Size: 8×8
Conform-O-Meter: Obedience +10

Leaves Stores March 28th

Pros
-Will help with the event, plane pays out coins every 12hrs
-Permanent, animated, task for Lisa and Bart
-Comes with a bonus %, nice add on for a decoration that has a task and pays out coins.

Cons
-Task requires both Lisa AND Bart (visible in Lisa’s task list). You can’t just send one.
-It is another plane for Springfield, and we just finished an event with loads of planes

Final Thought
Premium:
I like this one.  The fact that it pays out coins is nice, but not necessary to complete the event on time.  I like that fact that it’s a military style plane and fill fit nicely with military base designs for Springfield. And the added bonus of a 1hr task there for Bart and Lisa is nice.  I’d say if you have a design idea in mind, pick this one up,

Freemium:
So this is one of those decorations freemium players should pickup if they like it and have a use for it.  It’s got a lot of positives and is a decent buy.  So if you’ve got a use for it, or think you will in the near future, pick this one up.  BUT don’t buy it just because it pays out coins.  Not even remotely needed for this event, and takes forever to collect the coins. (You’re better off buying Leopold if you’re worried about getting more coins).

Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do.  And I can tell you as a premium player, I’ve already picked this one up.  Just remember this is limited time, and will be leaving our stores next week.  So be sure to make your final decision before it’s gone from our games for good. (or for now..)

Here’s a look at the questline that pops up:

I’ll Be Your Wingman
Auto start

Bart: Skinner’s going easy on you ’cause you’re a giiiiirl!
Lisa: Nuh-uh! He’s going easy on me because I’m a suck-up. It’s favoritism, not sexism.
Bart:Skinner doesn’t give me any breaks. He even took the brakes out of this plane.
Make Bart and Lisa Face the Training Plane- 1hr, Earns $210, 52xp
Bart & Lisa: Okay, we give up. You win.
Lisa: This must be what it’s like to be a teddy bear in the dryer.
