Where Did THAT Come From – Pin Pals, Claw Machine, Bowling Trophy, Laramie Vending Machine & 300 Balloon

In our silly lil game, we sometimes see things pop in that we have no clue as to their Origin. They seem familiar, but we just can’t pinpoint from where. So that is why we decided to make a fun lil reminder out of it. To let you know just Where Did THAT Come From?

Pin Pals and the Conform-O-Meter

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Today the Pin Pals mini event is slated to leave our Springfield’s, so I thought now would be a good time to look back at how all of the items added (new and old) for this mini event impact our Conform-O-Meters.

The Conform-O-Meter is an important part of Tapped-Out because it provides you with a bonus boost in your cash and  XP from everything you collect in the game.  When you achieve a 5-Star Town (it’s max rating) you will receive a 5% bonus on all money and XP collected in your town.  If you missed the previous Conform-O-Meter posts check here for the basics and here for how many points you’ll need to reach 5 stars.

While the Pin Pals mini event brought no changes to the Conform-O-Meter requirements, it did bring a few new and old buildings and decorations.  So let’s take a look at how all of the “goodies” impact our rating: Continue reading

Secret Agents 2017 and the Conform-O-Meter

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

So I’m a little behind with this one, as the Secret Agents Event left our games a couple of weeks ago.  But, now is still a great time to look back at how all of the items added for this event impact our Conform-O-Meters.  Especially since this event brought LOADS of items to Springfield…

Simple Town Designs: Rooftop Bowling

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Well we’re knee deep in the Pin Pals Event, with loads of fun prizes and premium buildings!  With this mini event I can’t help but notice we’re once again left trying to make room in our Springfields for items that typically belong inside!  In particular the Bowling Lanes.  I don’t know about you, but where I come from Bowling Lanes are typically INSIDE the Bowling Alley…not outside.

Often, when we’re faced with items that typically would go inside, many tappers would simply stick these items in their inventory and never think of them again.  It can be fairly daunting to find room and a decent design for these types of items.  But, in this case the Bowling Lanes earn a bonus % AND are required to complete certain visual tasks for Pin Pal characters.  So what’s a Tapper to do?

Use a little perspective to create some fun bowling alley designs of course!  So, there’s no better time than the present to share with you all another Simple Town Design all about those Bowling Lanes….

Springfield Showoff: Secret Agents/Cypress Creek

As we sit here frakkin files, pulling pics, and typing a million words a minute to get our readers the latest updates and information…we find ourselves sometimes forgetting to stop and enjoy our own games. More so our neighboreenos. So we try to make it a point to hop in n out of the towns now and then to see what cool things YOU are up to. So we have decided we want to continue to focus more attention (as if we don’t already 😛 ) on YOU…our readers. Time to time we will be peaking into your towns, checking our Flickr, and also the posts in the comments below to see what cool ideas and designs YOU have come up with to make your towns unique and…well…YOU. So here is YOUR chance to show off all your hard work, time, donuts & in game cash spent. Send us your work, no matter how big or small. Brag about it to the world. We want you to. (That and Bunny loves to see other designs and get inspiration from it.) Then keep your eyes posted to Addicts to see if YOU end up on our “SPRINGFIELD SHOWOFF”.

Should I Spend Donuts On the Discounted and Returning Pin Pals Items?

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

New mini event is underway in our pocket-sized Springfields!  The Pin Pals are here with their bowling skills & drinking powers!  Of course an all new mini event is a perfect excuse for EA to dust some premium items off and bring them out of the TSTO Vault.  (and throw a few other regular ones on discount)

Of course with that limited-time label it can be tempting to buy everything that looks awesome because it’ll be gone soon.  But don’t sweat it!  That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.

Wondering if you should add any of the Pin Pals discounted or returning premium items to your Springfield?  Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this throwbacks to your Springfield…
