Where Did THAT Come From – Dentz

In our silly lil game, we sometimes see things pop in that we have no clue as to their Origin. They seem familiar, but we just can’t pinpoint from where. So that is why we decided to make a fun lil reminder out of it. To let you know just Where Did THAT Come From?

Wowza… the 2017 Secret Agent Simpsons Event is in full effect and we’re all busy collecting intel, crafting subversive surveillance items, and tapa-tapa-tapping secret agents and spies in a covert palooza all about Globex, the EPA, GHOST, and the CIA. It’s enough to make me want to watch Roger Moore, Sean Connery, Don Adams, and Rowan Atkinson on repeat. Hooray for new ideas in TSTO. Just like the xxth Bond movie, life lessons as an adult, or an intelligence collection mission, I’m sure a lot of us never saw this coming. Of course, with any new event, there’s always an inevitable tapping on my attic floor from Alissa to get started on writing about the origins for it all. It’s always a pleasure to re-watch episodes of the Best. Show. Ever. to do just that. For this round of origins, we’ll be taking a look at Dentz, the 6th Act One Prize for 63,800 cheap intel.

“The Great Money Caper” (S12:E7)

This is the episode where Homer and Bart become scam artists to earn money to pay for a car repair bill. We all know the trusty old pink sedan that is the Simpsons car. Heck, I wrote a whole post on it once upon a time. That post even included the item I’m writing about right now. Anyhoo… the long and short is that our favorite yellow family goes to a show at the Magic Palace. While there, Marge discovers a love for Long Island Iced Teas (she’d love to “visit that Long Island place if only it were real.”) Yup… she gets a little blotto while the family enjoys mentalists, illusionists, and magic. Marge even volunteers to be a part of the show and makes a lot of folks laugh with her inebriated honesty and the results of her being turned into monkeys.

The family visits the gift shop and heads home. On the way, a sturgeon falls from the Russian space station right onto their beloved automobile.

And where do you take your messed up vehicle when the Russkies lose their dinner? Dentz of course. They have the blackest fingernails in town.

Raphael is the mechanic and says it’ll be $6500 plus 350 to take care of the foreign fish. Homer starts trying to earn money at the Squidport using the magic kit Bart got earlier which leads to Michael Jackson showing up briefly and the duo discovering it’s easier to earn money by being con artists.

And that’s that. Hilarity with Bart and Homer and the origin for Dentz in the Best. Show. Ever. plus a Michael Jackson appearance on the Squidport I’ve been wanting in the game for age. What do you think of the prize? Do you remember the appearance? Sound off in the comments. Stay stealthy my friends.

TTFN… Wookiee out!
