Should I Spend Donuts on Nick’s Bowling Shops?

Advertisements

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Well time to live life in the fast lane because we’ve got ourselves a Pin Pals Bowling Mini Event in Springfield!  That’s right our pocket-sized Springfield’s have gone to the gutter….the bowling gutter that is…as we set em up to knock em down with this Bowling event!

Of course with that limited-time label it can be tempting to buy everything that looks awesome because it’ll be gone soon.  But don’t sweat it!  That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.

Wondering if you should add Nick’s Bowling Shops to your Springfield?  Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding these teleporting buildings to your town…

Building/Decoration: Nick’s Bowling Shops East and West
Donut Cost: 70 Donuts
Earns: $135,15xp/4hrs
Size:
Nick’s Bowling Shop (brown) 5×7; Other Nick’s Bowling Shop (Blue) 4×6
Conform-O-Meter:
Consumerism +10 each
Other Info:
Can be placed on Pavement, Pier, Boardwalk and dirt…in addition to the usual grass.  They’ll “teleport” between each other, so you can move from one bowling shop to the other in a flash. (like the Teleporters)

Leaves stores May 23rd

Pros
-2 buildings for 70 donuts, so 35 donuts each
-If you buy Pin Pal Moe and Burns they’ll have a task there
-Allow you to “teleport” from one end of Springfield to the other by tapping on the buildings (instead of scrolling) (assuming you have a Nick’s at each end)

Cons
-No characters outside of the premium Pin Pals have a task there

Final Thought
Premium
For premium buildings this is a decent buy.  They’re only 35 donuts each, and they’re nice looking buildings.  The downside is no characters, outside premium costumes, have a task there.  That prevents this from being a great buy.  But if you’re in the market for new premium buildings and you missed out on the teleporters. this isn’t a bad pick up.

Freemium
Freemium players this is a toss up.  Personally, I’d rather spend donuts on character/building combos, but if you’re in the market for some premium buildings (and you missed out on the teleporters) these aren’t a bad pick up.  Reasonably priced for premium buildings.  The biggest downside is that they won’t get used by characters, outside of Pin Pal Moe and Burns (which if you’re premium, it’s unlike you purchased).  If you’re in the market for buildings it’s not a bad pick up, but I’d save my donuts for Jacques and Fiesta Terrace first

Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and as I premium player I can tell you I’ll be passing.  I already have the teleporters & these don’t really do much for me.  But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before they leave our games for good (or for now).

And that’s it my friends, the details behind Nick’s Bowling Shop Bundle!
