Springfield Jobs – Act III Calendar and Numbers for Getting it All!

WOW…Act II was long. But, it was also EAsy…in that I had more than a full week of grinding for Bonuts, after I finished the quest line, and collected all of the prizes.  I have a sense that Act III is going to be the same way…

I wish I could say that I am looking forward to the great prizes in Act III…but, the fact is, I am still working on making my London layout everything it can be, and don’t care much for a rehash of Burns’ Casino, that isn’t the same Casino, from a legitimately great Event (Burns’s Casino), that gave us a ton of gambling/resort related stuff.  This feels like a retread…and is yet another argument for MAKING THE EVENTS TWO ACTS!!!!

OK. Rant over.

As I said, if you have been storing up a cache of Crafting Currency, and did the wise thing of not collecting your Daily Challenge currency for the past three days, you are going to come out of the blocks quickly. If not, I don’t think it matters…you will still “Get Everything” as it pertains to the Prize Track.

Let’s take a look at the numbers…

Friday Filler – London Calling and More Town Tours

Thank Grog It’s Firday!

I have to admit, I have enjoyed Act II of this over-extended, insanely grind-tastic event.  Mostly for selfish reasons. It has actually created some serious conversations between my wife and I about taking a “once in a lifetime” (actually twice) trip to Europe, before we croak.

As of late, the vast majority of our time and treasure has been dedicated to our kids, as in 5 college educations, 4 weddings (one to go) and a ton of travel to “see the kids” who are spread out all over the place, North, South, East and Northwest. Add grandkids (one due any minute!), and you have additional reasons to make your travel time, “family time.”  There’s nothing wrong with that. But does lack a bit of variety (even though we turned one into a 9.600 mile, 30-day cross country trip a couple of summers ago).

But…we both did extended trips to Europe when we were young. For me…that was almost 50 years ago. I hear a lot has changed in 50 years… When I went, there was still a Berlin Wall…a Communist help Czechoslovakia, and a ton of debris left over from 2 world wars. So…yes…change is good!

When we began our “world tour” in TSTO, it got me wishing that could go back again, and see some of our favorite spots, as well as check a few boxes off of the “I really want to see that…”  list that has grown over the years. I want to return to the British Isles, including Ireland (at least 2 weeks) and Deb wants to return to Spain and Italy, while adding France and Denmark into the mix for extended family. I also want to tour some WWI battlefields in France and Belgium, and want to go to Austria, Germany and Switzerland again. So…yes…this would be a HUGE, long trip, which we will have to wedge in between a trip to Uganda, another wedding, and who knows how many more grandkids. Retirement?  Pfffffffftttttttttttt… not gonna happen.

But in the meantime, I can visit the imaginative towns and places that have cropped up as a result of my “Town Tours” feature, started a couple of weeks back.  This week, I’m focusing on a couple more “Friends of Ebron,” as well one of my favorite neighbors, and a look at my own English homage.

Springfield Jobs Act II- Prize Guide – MoHo House and Nigel

Tut, Tut my good ladies and gents…we are awash in the best of “Jolly Old England” in our Springfields.  The heisting continues, but it is almost secondary to the cool buildings and prizes up for grabs in this Act.

I admit to being a bit of an Anglophile, so I am stoked to get some of the buildings and special decorations that have graced my imagination and book shelves for most of my lifetime.  And if you have to steal a few jewels to get it all?  So be it!

And Here We Are…the FINAL PRIZE of ACT II!!  Nigel and the MoHo!

The Final Definitive Beginner’s Guide to KEM and Bonus % Farming

The topic of Donut Farming has always been divisive and contentious. But it can also seem frustratingly complex to newer players, or players trying to KEM farm for Free Donuts for the first time. And…I am saying that this is the FINAL time we are going to talk about it. At least I hope so. Either farm, or don’t farm. We’re fine either way!

And again…before we start the conversation, this is NOT the place to brag about your own percentages or giant amassed stockpiles of donuts and XP. There is nothing more boorish than talking about money/XP/Bonuses etc. in public.  If you do so…we will delete, shred, and blow out your comment.

This is to help those who are just starting out, and want to understand the “How/Why” of the basics.  Everyone plays the game differently…and has their own pace. There is no wrong way to play the game. However, there are ways to play for free…and still get what you want…if you are willing to grind.

As I have said many times…I was late to KEM farming (as in just the last 6 months).  I have been playing since Oct. 2012, so I already had a good jump on Bonus Percentage simply by buying Premium Items over the years. I am still hovering around 360%, which is on the “low side” for real KEM SUPER Farmers.  But, I have found that this level is more than adequate to bring in between 24-36 donuts a day, if I keep my “Kasual KEM Farming Cycle” going.  I am an advocate of Safi’s method…and will break it down even further in this post.
