Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Amusement time in Springfield!  New event means all new content, and of course loads of returning content! Lots of items to drop those sprinkles on…

As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon.  But don’t sweat it!  That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.

Wondering if you should add the Returning Itchy and Scratchy Bot or Discounted Sideshow Mel to your Springfield?  Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding these throwbacks to your town…

Leaves stores July 11th

Item: Itchy and Scratchy Boy
Cost: 60 Donuts
Previous Post: Should I Buy
Earns: Nothing
What Does It Do:
NPCs.  Animated when tapped, but that’s about it
My Opinion On It Now:
Meh, not worth it.  Pass.  Buy the real Scratchy (you already got Itchy for free).  Yes, I get that they’re an iconic part of the episode..but sometimes common sense has to prevail.  (in my case I try to go for common sense most of the time).  Common sense tells you it’s 60 donuts for an NPC (not 2 separate ones, they’re a two in one deal) that literally adds no benefit for your Springfield and you likely won’t be able to find in town 10 minutes after you buy it…

Leaves Stores July 11th

Item: Krustylu Studios and Sideshow Mel
Cost: 140 Donuts, Rebate 40 Donuts, NET 100 Donuts
Previous Post: Should I Buy
What Does It Do: Full character for Springfield, comes with complete tasks.  And building for Springfield (earns cash and XP)
My Opinion On It Now:
If you don’t already have him this is a GREAT buy.  Anytime you can get a character/building combo for around 100 donuts you should jump at it.  Pick him up…

What are your thoughts on the returning items?  Will you be spending donuts to bring any of these throwbacks to your Springfield?  Why or why not?  Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!
