In-Game Update: New Mini-Event, Poochie’s Dog Dayz

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Well, the new mini-event teased yesterday has launched in Springfield.  It’s now Poochie’s chance to shine!

If you haven’t already done so, be sure to download the newest update from your App Store….

Itchy & Scratchy kick things off with some dialogue about going on strike!  This will be followed by a 6s task for Krusty and 5 Springfielders.  Once you’ve completed that task you’ll launch the Poochie’s Dog Dayz mini-event!  Let’s take a look….

This is set up like your standard mini-event.  Follow the special questline (in this case it’s called Poorly Working Title) to unlock a series of prizes.  Plus, there’s a bunch of new premium content in stores.

This mini-event will run for 2 weeks, ending on July 25th (which is when I suspect we’ll see the next major event. As that sets us up for a good 6-week cycle + a mini event and then Halloween).  Remember, mini-events are pretty easy to complete.  You shouldn’t need the full 2 weeks to complete it.  So consider the next two weeks your downtime, with a little something to do in the game.

Mrs. Scratchy and the Picnic Spot- 165 Donuts.  Earns 4.5% bonus on cash and XP.

Roy & Reality Channel Van- 150 Donuts.  Earns 4% bonus on cash and XP

Disapproving Squirrel- 65 Donuts.  Full Character and has a hilarious task with Marge…

All 3 characters will have a task to earn scripts (event currency)…

The Reality Channel- 55 Donuts.  Earns event currency/4hrs

Fireworks Factory- 45 Donuts. Earns $200, 22xp/8hrs

Cartoon Set- 300 Donuts with Scratchy, 350 Donuts with Itchy and Scratchy

Rebated Items…

Lurleen and the Beer -N- Brawl- 140 Donuts, 35 Donut rebate, NET 105 Donuts

The task is to Make Maggie Celebrate Like It’s 1879….
