App Store Update Available: Rise of the Robots

Note: The update should start at 11am ET.  

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Earlier this afternoon an update hit app stores for the newest multi-event in Springfield!  This event does not start until tomorrow, Wednesday, April 7th, BUT you want to download the update today so you don’t miss a moment when it goes live.

Remember, if you don’t see it listed in your updates you may have to search your app store for Tapped Out to find the update.  Just make sure you update before it launches tomorrow morning.

And as I mentioned in this morning’s post…if you’re looking for Spoilers you can check them out here.  And for those who don’t want spoilers, just want to know who to keep free…Well, you’ll need Bart free to start things off.  You’ll also need the following characters free in your Springfield to complete event quests:  Homer, Marge, Lisa, Flanders, Skinner, Wiggum, and Frink (if you have him).  Now, I’m not 100% certain as I’m still going through everything, but based on the Act 1 synopsis I would also keep Mr. Burns and Smithers free.

And that’s it for now!  So be sure to check your app store, download the update, and be ready for Rise of the Robots to start tomorrow (April 7th)!

Incoming Event

Update: The update is available in the app stores…remember it doesn’t start until TOMORROW (Wednesday 4/7).

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Just giving y’all a little reminder that we’re expecting a brand new multi-event to hit our App Stores later today.  This update will change the splash screen on your game for the new event, BUT the new event itself won’t start until tomorrow (Wednesday) morning.

Curious what’s in the new update?  Well, if you missed it last week you can check out our detailed spoilers video here…

Don’t want to look at spoilers, but want to know who to keep free?  Well, you’ll need Bart free to start things off.  You’ll also need the following characters free in your Springfield to complete event quests:  Homer, Marge, Lisa, Flanders, Skinner, Wiggum, and Frink (if you have him).  Now, I’m not 100% certain until the event hits the files, but based on the Act 1 synopsis I would also keep Mr. Burns and Smithers free.  And I will update more on who is needed for tasks once the update hits the files.

For now, enjoy the spoilers, look for the update to hit the app store later today, and get ready to have some fun starting tomorrow!

Well, my friends, we’ve reached the end of the Game of Games prize posts.  These last 4 prizes are all we have left to cover and we can finally put GOG2 to bed!  Woohoo!

I know prize posts aren’t the most exciting in the world, but as I always say it’s still important to break these down.  Helps with various questions and, if nothing else, I can point to this post 6 months from now when they reappear in a mystery box.

Act 4 contains 2 costumes and 2 prizes (and one stinking Mystery Box Token).  For this act I’ve broken down Cleric Marge and the decorations, it’s time to break down Lady Milhouse…
