Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Gather ’round the tapping device everyone, it’s update time in TSTO! And there’s no time like the present for the residents of our pocket-sized Springfields to make New Year’s Resolutions…even if we are 16 days into 2020 already! Of course, a new event gives EA an excuse to stock our stores with returning premium content, just tempting us to drop those pink sprinkles!
As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add the returning Mooch Bart, President Lisa, or Rockstar Maggie to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding these throwbacks to your town…
All Returning Items Leave Stores January 29th
Item: Mooch Bart
Donut Cost: 75 Donuts
Previous Post: Details (Tasks and Questline)
What Does It Do?: Full character for Springfield.
Opinion on it Now: Not available in the Yearbook Mystery Box, so if you want it this is your only opportunity to get it. It’s not a bad pickup. 75 donuts for a stand-alone character…”this day and age”…in TSTO isn’t bad. Plus, as an added benefit to this event, if you have Mooch Bart he’ll complete questline tasks, so you can send regular Bart to earn event currency…
Item: President Lisa
Donut Cost: 75 Donuts
Previous Post: Details (Questline and Tasks)
What Does It Do?: Full character for Springfield.
Opinion on it Now: Not available in the Yearbook Mystery Box, so if you want it this is your only opportunity to get it. President Lisa is also not a bad pickup. 75 donuts for a stand-alone character…”this day and age”…in TSTO isn’t bad. Plus, as an added benefit to this event, if you have President Lisa she’ll complete questline tasks, so you can send regular Lisa to earn event currency…
Item: Rockstar Maggie and the Springfield Hyperstadium
Donut Cost: 160 Donuts
Previous Post: Should I Buy
What Does It Do?: Full character for Springfield + building combo.
Opinion on it Now: Rockstar Maggie IS available in the Yearbook Mystery Box…and therefore, that’s where you should try and unlock her. Pass on grabbing her through this event.
