Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
The circus has arrived in Springfield! Well…three of them have arrived! Looking for a freak show? The Burnsum and Bailey Circus is here! Traditional circus? Ding-A-Ling Bros at your service! Feeling fancy? Then Cirque de Puree is for you. But which one will rein supreme? It’s up to you to find out in the latest event in TSTO…Cirque du Springfield!
As always, loads of dialogue with this one, so be sure to read along to see what happens! And of course, I’ll be posting it as each week wraps up…
Remember, this is the FINAL ACT. This and all other Acts must be finished by next Wednesday, March 16th.
Things kick off for Act 4 with some dialogue between Burnsum, Marguerite, The Human Donkey, Marge, & Bart…
Burnsum: Finish affixing your headpiece, Marguerite! You’re on in five.
Marguerite: On for who? The stands are empty.
Burnsum: Empty? How is this possible with the array of freaks I’ve collected?!
Bart: Parading freaks is so 1910. People want fresh. They all went over to Cirque de Puree.
Marge: Their stunts ARE spectacular. I don’t know how they do it.
Burnsum: Something smells foul.
The Human Donkey: That’s my lunch — sardines and sawdust.
Bart: If we don’t do something soon, the Cirque is gonna eat our lunch.
Burnsum: *sigh* I guess it’s time I do the unthinkable.
Bart: Tell people what’s really in our hot dogs?
Burnsum: Worse. It’s time I apologize.
This triggers the Act 4 questline, The Lion’s Scare and is followed by 4hr tasks for Bart, Burnsum, & Marguerite, as well as a task to collect Act 4 Currency (115). The Lion’s Scare is the questline that will take you through unlocking all of this Act’s prizes.
Let’s take a look at what else is in store during Act 4…
Here’s the Act 4 Synopsis from EA:
It’s not long before the cirque corners the Springfield circus market, so Burnsum and the Ding-A-Ling
Ringmaster are forced to form an alliance if either hopes to survive.Now this newly formed alliance needs to think of an attraction so spectacular that it’ll pull Springfielders
away from the cirque. That’s when Scuzzo the Clown, Ding-A-Ling’s number two clown, proposes
stealing a man-eating lion from the Ultimate Fighting Zoo. An act THAT dangerous is sure to draw a crowd.Bart and Scuzzo successfully steal the lion and begin preparing for their show later that night.
Meanwhile, Lisa discovers a horrible truth at Cirque de Puree…all of their performers are actually
underage children! Lisa swears off circuses once and for all, but not before Homer drags her to see
Burnsum and Bailey’s man-eating lion.Marguerite is then cautiously performing with the savage beast, but its restraints are broken during the
act. Just before the lion devours Marguerite, Homer intervenes by getting the lion drunk on hippo juice.While saving the day, Burnsum and Bailey inadvertently put on the show of a lifetime, and successfully drive the cirque back from whence they came. Bart is thrilled by the outcome, until Burnsum and Bailey decide to pack up shop and head to Shelbyville, leaving Springfield in their dust.
As I stated above, you’ll go right into The Lion’s Scare questline, which is what the Act 4 story will follow. This questline is how you’ll unlock the Act 4 prizes.

Each Act will have a new premium character that will earn event currency. From what I can see, based on the info from EA, characters will be used throughout the entire event. So Act 1 will be used in Act 2, 3, and 4…etc.
