Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
It’s time for everyone’s favorite update in TSTO…Halloween! (well, mine is still Christmas…but I digress…) Will the Simpsons survive this horror update?! Only time..and 5 weeks of tapping will tell!
Here we are with Act 4. Which started up at 10am ET, thanks to Daylight Savings Time ending here in the US.
Remember, this is the final act of this event. This and all other Acts must be completed by next Wednesday, November 16th.
Things kick off for Act 4 with some dialogue between Homer, Lisa, Bart, Poe and HP:
Homer: People-chomping zombies! Run! But first it’s always more important to shoot video and post it!
Lisa: Ugh! This is what I’m talking about! People screaming, zombies slow-walking, biting, blood spraying everywhere — BOR-ING!
H P Lovecraft: A weird mind like mine could never be frightened by such banal grotesqueries.
Edgar Allan Poe: Yes. So prosaic! Now go over there and flash your big brain.
Zombie Human 1: You has-beens are just jealous because everyone loves zombies, and no one reads your dusty old “books” unless a teacher forces them to!
H P Lovecraft: Now you’ve gone too far, vile creatures!
Edgar Allan Poe: Indeed! Quoth the Raven: Eat my shorts!
Bart: Hey! That “quoth” is from the Bartman!
This triggers the Act 4 questline, At the Suburbs of Madness and is followed by 4hr tasks for Lisa, Lovecraft, Bart and Mopey Mary, as well as a task to collect Act 4 Currency (115). At the Suburbs of Madness is the questline that will take you through unlocking all of this Act’s prizes.
Let’s take a look at what else is in store during Act 4…
Here’s the Act 4 Synopsis from EA:
Edgar Allan Poe and H.P. Lovecraft team up to thwart the zombie invasion. Poe is willing to call a truce with Lovecraft, but Lovecraft is determined to prove he’s the real master of horror and leads the group to the abandoned lighthouse on the edge of town where he kidnaps Sideshow Bob. Then he takes them to Mad Doctor Itchy’s Castle, where the mad mouse is only too happy to assist in whatever insanity Lovecraft has up his sleeve. After decapitating Sideshow Bob, Lovecraft uses Doctor Itchy’s Reanimator and some spare animal parts lying around the lab to give life to his most twisted creation to date: Sideshow Chicken!
Sideshow Chicken gets loose and briefly terrorizes Springfield before they quickly get bored and decide
to call it night. Marge insists that Lovecraft “fix” Sideshow Bob, but the embarrassed author objects
because what she wants is impossible! Fortunately, Mad Doctor Itchy had already cloned Sideshow Bob
in his original form, so all’s well that ends weird.
As I stated above, you’ll go right into At the Suburbs of Madness questline, which is what the Act 4 story will follow. This questline is how you’ll unlock the Act 4 prizes.

Each Act will have a new premium character that will earn event currency. From what I can see, based on the info from EA, characters will be used throughout the entire event. So Act 1 will be used in Act 2, 3, and 4…etc.

These are STILL unlockable if you haven’t completed that prize track. You have until the event ends to unlock ALL the prizes. So keep going with the earlier Acts if you haven’t yet finished it. You have until November 16th to finish those…
