Where Did THAT Come From: It’s A Wonderful Knife

Advertisements

In our silly lil game, we sometimes see things pop in that we have no clue as to their Origin. They seem familiar, but we just can’t pinpoint from where. So that is why we decided to make a fun lil reminder out of it. To let you know just Where Did THAT Come From?

This post I will be going over the Origin of It’s A Wonderful Knife. Brought into our games for the Terwilliger Event as a Building with Gino. Why is it in our game? Is it an actual location in the Simpsons? What was it put on Squidport? Let’s take a look at the TV Series to find out.

Season 8, Episode 17:  My Sister, My Sitter
The town of Springfield is trying to spruce up the place down by the water’s edge, so they are having a Grand Opening of the newest edition to town… Squidport. Homer and Marge take full advantage of the occasion by dressing up in their best attire and going for a walk down the New Squidport. Lots of new shops are there as they stroll. Like Turban Outfitters, Just Rainsticks, and It’s A Wonderful Knife. Just one among many “Upscale Chain Stores”.

Season 25, Episode 8: White Christmas Blues
This one is just more for fun. During this Episode, we can see a Christmas Edition of the Itchy & Scratchy Show playing out. It is a knock off of the well known “It’s a Wonderful Life” Movie. It’s title just so happens to be, “It’s a Wonderful Knife”.

There you have it. A store that was on the boardwalk along with many other shops in the Squidport Episode is now in our game to be added to those shops. What do you think of it? Did you buy it along with Gino? Do you remember all the other Squidport shops from this episode? Anymore you wish they would add? Let us know.
