Should I Spend Donuts on the Dumping Permit?

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

The Monorail has finally arrived in our Springfields!  And nothing says Monorail like dumping excessive amounts of trash on your neighbors, right?  And what’s a little trash dumping without a permit?  Now I know many of you are trying to decide if the Dumping Permit is worth YOUR donuts, but don’t sweat it!  We’re here to help you decide what’s worth the donuts and what you might want to hold off on.

Wondering if the Dumping Permit is right for you?  Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of becoming a licensed dumper in YOUR Springfield!

Item: Dumping Permit
Donut Price: 90 Donuts
What Does it Do?: So, basically this is a permit that helps you earn MORE game currency when dumping garbage in your neighbors towns (just like the hunting license and farming license before it).  Without the permit you’ll earn 6 Blueprints (or future Act currency for this event) per building dumped on, or 18 per town (up to 90 actions/day (or 30 towns)).  With the Permit you’ll earn 12 Blueprints (or future Act currency for this event) per building dumped on, or 36 per town (still maxed at the same 90 actions/day (or 30 towns)).

So basically this will double the amount of game currency you get from visiting friends.  Currently it caps at 90 actions, so without the Permit that’s 540 Blueprints (or the other currencies if/when they hit).  But WITH the Permit it’s 1080 Blueprints (or the other currencies…).  Remember this is ONLY with dumping garbage in neighbors towns.  This does NOT impact the amount you earn when tapping in your own town.

Will not unlock until you’ve unlocked neighbor actions for the event.  Those unlock at Pt 8 of A Rail of One City.

Pro
-Earns double game currency when dumping garbage in your neighbors towns.

Cons
-EXPENSIVE…
-Not an actual item so once the event is over, it’s gone.

Final Thought:
Premium
As always this one’s a personal choice.  What I always do when assessing if these licenses/permits are worth it is I first look at the amount of time I have to dedicate to the game.  If I have a ton of time and think I can make up extra Blueprints daily from regular tapping of the Possums, then I pass on something like this.  But if time is limited for me and I’ll probably only be able to make it into my game once a day…then this is something that’s more worth it, as it’ll double your neighbor action currency and make up for lost possum tapping throughout the day.  Of course, don’t buy it if neighbor visits are difficult for you to make on a daily basis, since that’s the only place it will help you.  In this case…I have ZERO time to live in my game during this event, especially with our family vacation coming up soon.  So I’ll most likely pick this up.

Freemium
Honestly, this is one you may want to pass on.  90 d0nuts is pricey for something that won’t be tangible in your Springfield once the event ends.  Plus you can earn currency fairly quickly if you tap frequently.  So if you’re a diligent tapper, save your donuts and pass on this one.

Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would/wouldn’t do, and this is something I’ll most likely pickup this weekend.  Whatever you decide, just remember this is one item for the event that’s better the earlier you purchase it.  So if you’re on the fence, I’d say try to make your final decision by this weekend…this way you can get the most benefit over the rest of the event!

And that’s it my friends…the full rundown and pros and cons of the Dumping Permit.

What do you think of the Dumping Permit?  Are you still thinking about purchasing it or wanting to see how the event pans out the next couple of days before you make a decision?  Thoughts on dumping trash in neighbor’s towns?  How’s your Blueprint count doing?  Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!
