In our silly lil game, we sometimes see things pop in that we have no clue as to their Origin. They seem familiar, but we just can’t pinpoint from where. That is why we decided to make a fun lil reminder out of it. To let you know just Where did THAT Come From?
So I know Bunny and Wookiee usually handle the WDTCF posts, but with Wookiee working on finals and some other stuff..and Bunny busy with work and her family, I thought I’d try my hand at a couple of these…any excuse to re-watch old Simpsons episodes 😉
This post I will be going over the Origin of the Greenhouse that appears in the Nature Bundle of the Spring Cleaning event. Why is it in our games? What does it have to do with Springfield? Let’s dive into the Simpsons TV Series to find out more.
Moe Baby Blues: Season 14, Episode 22
So this particular Greenhouse is pretty simple…it appears in one episode (that i’ve found) and only for a brief second.
The Simpsons, and Springfield, are gathered at the Springfield Botanical Gardens to see the Sumatran Century Flower blossom (you can see Wookiee’s WDTCF on it here). And as our favorite yellow family is walking through the gardens to reach the Sumatran Century Flower they walk right past the greenhouse…
And that’s it. One quick little blip and boom it’s in our games! But it does fit perfectly with the Nature Bundle, especially because this is also the episode where the Kodos and Kang Topiary appears…
There you have it, another little blip in the Simpsons that’s made it’s way into our games! The only thing that would make the Nature Bundle better is if it included the Sumatran Century Flower…seems EA missed an opportunity there! 😉
Oh and there is a Greenhouse that appears in The Burns and the Bees S20, E8, but it’s a totally different Greenhouse than the one being offered with the Nature Bundle…
So perhaps the Abandoned Greenhouse will be added to our games in the future… 🙂
