Hey Howdy Hey Tappers! It’s time for Week 5 voting of our Addicts Bracket Challenge!  
Once again….here’s Safi:

How much longer EA can keep Tapped Out going is up for debate. But what isn’t debatable is that there are plenty of characters in the rich history of The Simpsons universe still not in our little game. From Homer’s college mates to his look-a-likes, from Bart’s crushes to Lisa’s idols, from four-eyed friends to four-legged pets, there is plenty of ‘untapped’ potential (pun intended). But which character do we really want?

We present to you the TSTO Addicts: Most Desired Character Bracket Battle…..

Now without further ado, a recap of the results of our final week of eight conference quarter-final match-ups:

MENS CONFERENCE – Julio (63.20%) def. Llewellyn Sinclair (36.80%)

BOYS CONFERENCE – Roy (52.67%) def. Adil Hoxha (47.33%)

PETS CONFERENCE – Laddie (71.57%) def. Lou (28.43%)

COMBO CONFERENCE – Nedward & Agnes Flanders (78.83%) def. Weasels (21.17%)

DOPPLEGANGER CONFERENCE – Lord Thistlewick Flanders (52.40%) def. Canadian Flanders (47.60%)

ONE HIT WONDER CONFERENCE – John (58.77%) def. Karl (41.23%)

GIRLS CONFERENCE – Mary Spuckler (78.74%) def. Nikki McKenna (21.26%)

WOMENS CONFERENCE – Alice Glick (69.29%) def. Brunella Pommelhorse (30.71%)

Thanks to everyone who voted in Round 1. With over 130,000 votes cast, we have narrowed down the field from 64 to 32. Here’s a photo recap of Round 1:

So just to recap the 32 Round 1 match-ups:

24 favourites won, while we had 8 upsets. The top four seeds advanced in the Mens, Combos, One Hit Wonders, and Girls conferences.

1 winner received over 90% of the vote, 4 received 85.01% to 90%, 2 received 80.01% to 85%, 16 received 60.01% to 80%, 6 received 55.01% to 60%, and 3 squeaked by with 50.01 to 55%.

Over the next two weeks, we will narrow down the field from 32 to 16. As the voting gets tougher, we have removed the ‘show results’ from the poll; so be sure to share your comments on who you voted for and come back next week to see the results.
