Apparently the recent Time Travel Event has caused EA to lose their calendars because a Pride Update has hit our games..a month late. Naturally with all event, mini or not, our stores are stacked with premium items tempting us to spend those sprinkles!
Of course with that limited-time label it can be tempting to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add Sconewall Bakery and Rollerskate Smithers to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this combo…

Pros
-Premium skin for Smithers, so will make Smithers a premium character
-Comes with a questline (short, 3 parts)
Cons
-Smithers won’t use Sconewall bakery
-His visual tasks are different, but very similar
-Sconewall Bakery won’t be used by any characters
-Smithers already has a premium Stonecutters skin, that many long time players got for free.
Final Thought
Premium:
Meh. It’s a toss up. I’m not a huge fan of spending donuts for premium skins, but if you like it go for it. Price isn’t too out of line with what some other premium skins were going for (Cavegirl Booberella was 100 donuts). Just wish his outdoor tasks were a little more creative. Sure he Rollerskates around town, once with a bag of groceries and once doing Yoga, but that’s really it. Same basic animation concept.
Freemium:
Pass. If you’re going for a premium character combo with this event go with Julio and pass on this one.
Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and as I premium player I can tell you I’ll very likely be passing. But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before he leaves our games for good (or for now).
