Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Hope you’ve got your dancing shoes on and your cell phones ready to light up the night because Homerpalooza has arrived in Springfield!  That’s right the rock fest has begun!  Our stores are now jam-packed with premium items just tempting us to drop our sprinkles on!

Of course with that limited-time label it can be tempting to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon.  But don’t sweat it!  That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.

Wondering if you should add Flaming Moe’s to your Springfield?  Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this flaming watering hole to your town…

Building/Decoration: Flaming Moe’s
Donut Cost: 60 Donuts
Earns:  8 /4hrs (when event is over it won’t earn anything)
Other Info:
This is a FACADE for Moe’s.  NOT a new building. So, like a costume for a building.

Leaves stores September 12th

Pros
-One of the few ways to earn extra crafting currency
-Comes with a short 2 part questline
-Classic facade for Moe’s from a classic episode

Cons
-Not a stand alone building, just a “skin” for Moe’s
-After the event is over, like Moe’s, it won’t earn event currency
-Pricey for just a facade

Final Thought
Premium:
While it doesn’t really do much, outside of earn Crafting currency, I know most Premium players will pick this up.  Why?  Because it’s a classic.  What Simpson fan doesn’t remember the Flaming Moe’s episode?  And Homer dramatically falling through the ceiling for his big reveal.  Premium players, you’ll likely buy this for nostalgic reasons.  But if you’re not nostalgic for it, pass.  In the end it’s just a skin for Moe’s.

Freemium:
Personally, I think Freemium players should pass.  While yes, it does help with crafting currency, I can’t tell you how many times at the end of an event people are asking me what to do with their leftover crafting currency.
Save your 60 donuts for a real building.

Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and as I premium player I can tell you I’m on the fence.   But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games for good (or for now).
