Homerpalooza 2017 and the Conform-O-Meter

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

With Homerpalooza leaving our games this morning, I thought now would be a good time  to look back at how all of the items added for this event impact our Conform-O-Meters.  Especially since this event brought LOADS of items to Springfield…

The Conform-O-Meter is an important part of Tapped-Out because it provides you with a bonus boost in your cash and  XP from everything you collect in the game.  When you achieve a 5-Star Town (it’s max rating) you will receive a 5% bonus on all money and XP collected in your town.  If you missed the previous Conform-O-Meter posts check here for the basics and here for how many points you’ll need to reach 5 stars.

While the Homerpalooza event brought no changes to the Conform-O-Meter requirements, it did bring a bunch of buildings and decorations.  So let’s take a look at how all of the new “goodies” impact our rating: Continue reading →

Homerpalooza Prize Guide: Act 3 (Hip Hop), Prize 6 Manager Cletus

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Put another dime in a jukebox and grab your dancing shoes, because Homerpalooza has arrived in Springfield!  Yes, the biggest music fest to hit our pocket-sized Springfields since the Singing Stones is live and rocking on our devices!  The latest event in TSTO has us feeling the beat as we experience different genres of music…with a little Weird Al thrown in the mix!

This Event is broken up into 3 Acts, with each Acts containing part of the story.  To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act.  Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event.  For the third Act, Hip Hop, you’re tasked with collecting Bling () to unlock each prize!

The sixth Hip Hop Prize awarded at 146,000  is the Manager Cletus Bundle, because sometimes you just have live “Big Pimpin'”…

So let’s take a closer look at this sixth prize and just what happens when you unlock it in your Springfield…

Happy Labor Day from the Addicts!

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Well, here in the US today marks the unofficial end of Summer….Labor Day.  I think it’s funny how here in America we don’t bother using calendars to mark the start and end of our summers…we just know Memorial Day is the unofficial start and Labor Day is the unofficial end.  Sometimes I think we just like the excuse for a good Barbecue! 😉

Of course, Labor Day isn’t really about the end of summer…and it isn’t only celebrated in the US (our friends up in Canada are celebrating it today as well…). Labor Day (or Labour Day) is a celebration of the worker’s movement.  It’s meant to honor those who contribute to the strength and prosperity of their country.   (you can read more about it here)

Anywho… most Americans will spend today soaking up what’s left of their summer and we’re no exception here.

Don’t worry… we’ll still be popping in and out of the comments throughout the day to help you with all of your Homerpalooza Event questions.  Just keep in mind it might take us a little while to moderate through all the comments, so we thank you in advance for your patience!
