Sci-Fi Prize Guide: Act 3, Prize 3 Mecha Hawk

Advertisements

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

The nerds have invaded Springfield!  Ok just one nerd, and he’s not all that bad.  And only in Springfield can Professor Frink, with the help of Homer, open up a black hole that transports doppelgangers, robots and Stephen Hawking (!) to our pocket sized Springfields! This multiverse event hit our devices and it’s full of alternate universe inspired decorations, buildings & characters!

This Event is broken up into 3 Acts, with each Act containing part of the story.  To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act.  Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event.  For the Third Act you’re tasked with collecting Anti Matter () to unlock each prize!

The third, and final, Act 3 Prize awarded at 8,250  is the Mecha Hawk, because it’s only fitting that we’d get the enemy we’ve been fighting the last month plus as our final prize

So let’s take a closer look at this final prize and just what happens when you unlock it in your Springfield…

Once you’ve collected 8,250  you’ll automatically be awarded the Mecha Hawk and you’ll see this message popup:

You will NOT have an option to store him.  He’ll automatically be awarded to you and be placed in Springfield.

Mecha Hawk is a Non-Playable Character, so he will be roaming around Springfield.  And he is part of the Interdimensional Travellers character collction..

Again, Mecha Hawk is just an NPC.  So there’s no questline associated with him.  Just unlock and he’s arrived in Springfield.  There is a little bit of dialogue that pops up when you unlock him:

Homer: Ahhhh
Hawking: Relax.  It’s just a miniature souvenir.
Homer: An 8-foot-tall miniature souvenir!  And it’s on my foot!

When tapped he does have some animation, the rockets on him go off.  But ultimately that’s it for this NPC.

Noticing a bunch of you are commenting that you’ve won him but you can’t find him.  That’s likely because he’s roaming around your town somewhere….so just give a search for him and see if you can see him 🙂

And that’s it my friends!  The details behind this final Sci-Fi Event prize….

Oh and for those asking…unlocking Evil Homer requires you to finish the Act 3 questline.

What’s Next?

BONUTS!- For every 3,000 you earn, after unlocking Mecha Hawk you’ll have a chance to earn 1, 2 or 3 Bonus Donuts!

So keep earning that anti matter, even after you’re done with the prizes to earn as many bonuts as you can!

What do you think of Mecha Hawk? Have you unlocked him yet? Ready for the event to be over?  What do you think we’ll see next?  Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!
