THOH XXVIII Prize Guide: Act 2, Prize 1 Crawl

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Fall has arrived and there’s a haze over our Springfield’s, that can only mean one thing….it’s Halloween in our pocket-sized towns! This year EA’s thrown a little magic into the mix, with an Angelica Button theme invading our towns. We’ve got beasts to battle, creatures to capture, wizards to wand wave and goblin gold to gather! Quite a few alliteration altercations huh?

This Event is broken up into 3 Acts, with each Acts containing part of the story.  To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act.  Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event.  For the second act you’re tasked with collecting Fairy Dust     () to unlock each prize!

The First act 2 Prize awarded at 900 is Crawl the Troll and his Bar, because every wizard needs a karaoke singing Troll in their life…

So let’s take a closer look at this first prize and just what happens when you unlock it in your Springfield…

Once you’ve collected 900  you’ll automatically be awarded Crawl (and his Bar) and you’ll see this message popup:

And you’ll have the option to place the Bar in your Springfield or store it in your inventory for later.  Don’t store it…it helps with the event.

Once you’ve placed the Bar in Springfield you’ll get Crawl’s character unlock message:

And he’s part of the THOH XXVIII Trolls Character Collection:

Yes, he’s a character, but no not a full character.  Crawl is technically an NPC.  (like Lewd only the Carl version).

He does come with a short questline, here’s a look at it now:

Crawl: What the heck is this place? And where’s the bar? No bar, means no mead.  And no mead means… I gotta go to my troll home sober!
Capture Crawl- x15.  Clear 15 Dark Mana

Crawl: Now THIS is more like it. And check it out, it’s got a karaoke setup. You won’t hear music or any other thing come out of anyone as sweet as what I spew.
Enchant Crawl-x15. Fill 15 Light Mana

Crawl Starts

Crawl: Now that’s music. Gotta be louder though. Hope none of the businesses around here mind me adding some extra speakers. I don’t have cash, but I’m sure they’ll accept crudely drawn I.O.U.’s.
Release Crawk- 4hrs. 

Once you’ve completed Capturing and enchanting Crawl, you’ll be able to release him every 4hrs to earn event currency (without needing a wizard).  We’ve got more info on releasing him, and what decorations he earns when you do so here. (Crawl awards the same decorations as Lewd…no changes.)

Let’s move onto the quick details on the Bar…

Size: 4×4
Earns: Nada.  Right now just a decoration, but this is the “hub” for Crawl.  Once you’ve captured/enchanted him you’ll use the Bar to release him.  
Conform-O-Meter: Vanity +100
Other Info: Can be placed on the grass/pavement/beach/dirt.

What’s Next?

Technically the Free Land Tile and a new venue unlocked is next….awarded at 2,800, but since that’s not a tangible gift for Springfield (just a free land space) the next prize we’ll cover is…

 Suffoclock of Sandy Doom- Awarded at 5,600. This will be the next prize we break down in the prize guide post.
