It’s that time of the update…time for another fun and exciting prize post!

Let’s take a look at the first 4 prizes on the Act 2 Prize Track: the Ding-A-Ling Front Office, Circus Seal, Ding-A-Ling Tent, and Animal High Wire (Soggy (a costume for Krusty) we’ll cover on another post)…
The circus has arrived in Springfield! Well…three of them have arrived! Looking for a freak show? The Burnsum and Bailey Circus is here! Traditional circus? Ding-A-Ling Bros at your service! Feeling fancy? Then Cirque de Puree is for you. But which one will rein supreme? It’s up to you to find out in the latest event in TSTO…Cirque du Springfield!
As always, loads of dialogue with this one, so be sure to read along to see what happens! And of course, I’ll be posting it as each week wraps up…
The Cirque du Springfield Event follows the same event structure of the Multi-Events before it. This event consists of 4 parts (or Acts), with each part lasting just over a week and taking us through a new part of the event!
For Act 2 we’re tasked with collecting Hippo Juice! Each part of the story will unlock another prize themed for the second part of the story. So let’s take a look at the details behind Act 2 and the Turbo Tappin’ Version for A Run for Their Funny…

Remember, this Act will still be playable until the event ends on March 16th. However, Act 2 will start on February 27th (note the Sunday start date)
Things kick off for Act 2 with some dialogue between Bart, Burnsum, the Ding A Ling Ringmaster, and Lisa…
Bart: So wait…the Ding-A-Ling Bros. Ringmaster used to be the Bailey in Burnsum and Bailey Circus? Ding A Ling Ringmaster: That’s right. I was running an ethical, animal-friendly, family circus until this crook forced me out. Burnsum: I didn’t force you out. I tried to kill you! You cheated death and I hate cheaters. Lisa: To me, it seems like Bailey wasn’t willing to compromise his integrity for profit. I applaud that. Ding A Ling Ringmaster: Thank you. You see, Burnsum, even the eight-year-old can spot a phony. Burnsum: To heck with your integrity. Why shouldn’t I profit by making people feel better about themselves by gawking at freaks. Bart: I gotta say, Lis’, I’m with Burnsum on this one. Nothing beats a good freak show. Burnsum: Ha! There you have it, Bailey. Even the little orphan boy can see the magic I bring. Bart: I’m not an orphan. I have a mom and sort of a dad. Homer: Eh, that’s fair.
This triggers the Act 2 questline, A Run for Their Funny and is followed by 4hr tasks for Bart and Lisa, as well as a task to collect Act 2 Currency (115). A Run for Their Funny is the questline that will take you through unlocking all of this Act’s prizes.
Let’s take a look at what else is in store during Act 2…

Ah….the good old Haunted Crossroads. Every great story about selling your soul to the devil has a “crossroads.”
Some would say that is is a metaphor for being at a crossroads in your life when can clearly take one path that is good for all, and another that is good only for you. Others would argue that there are literal crossroads where the Devil likes to hang out to do his business.
Others would also point out that the song “Crossroads” is one of the most covered blues staples ever…and relates to the story of Robert Johnson selling his soul to the devil to gain talent, fame and fortune. And the way Robert’s life turned out, one might tend to believe the tale.
Or…it could just be another prize for a mobile game, struggling to remain relevant after more than 6 years.
This directly from EA via Twitter…
So, are we at a crossroads in the game? Well…yes…kinda. Because it IS the first prize in Act II!
Well, it’s that time in Springfield…time for a new Act! It’s 10am here on the east coast and that means it’s time for Moe’s Ark Act 2…so have at it, assuming you can get into the game of course!
Yes, odds are the servers will likely be down. May I suggest waiting an hour or so before trying? Unless you like seeing the Bart Screen…and spinning donut. mmmm spinning donuts
Remember…this is an automatic change in your game. Nothing to download, it should just start up in your game..
Questline should start right up for you and you’ll have to do a 4hr task with Larry Kidkill. Hopefully you saved up those Daily Challenges to get a good jump start!
Act 2 runs until August 29th (when Act 3 will start)
Just what does Act 2 have in store for us? Let’s take a look…Continue reading →
