NEW In-Game Update: Cthulhu’s Revenge (Updated and Complete)

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

How’s this for keeping your attention in TSTO….

There’s an in-game update live in our games right now!  It appears to be a Halloween preview.  At least I hope this is a preview and not what we can expect for Halloween…

Anyway, it’s another mini-event.  Last 2 weeks, ends October 9th.  Which basically spirals my whole theory about Halloween starting October 2nd.

I just got back from the drs, so just seeing everything now.  I’ll go through and update this post with more info as I have it.  For now, know that you need Homer and Moe free for the initial 6s tasks.  Once that’s complete you’ll launch the mini-event and you’ll need Marge and you’ll need to collect 150 Tentacles (characters include: Homer, Lisa, Marge, Bart, Lenny, Carl, Grampa, and Moe.  Plus new character with this event).

Turbo Tappin’ Halloween 2018: Act 3

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

There are two predictable events in TSTO every year, Halloween and Christmas.  They’re generally two events guaranteed to excite tappers and get everyone talking about TSTO.  This morning Act 3 arrived, with Mummies and their elegant wraps.

As was mentioned on the rundown post Act 3 of Halloween runs until November 14th (when the entire event will end), and you’ll need to send 5 Springfielders on a 12hr task to get things started.

Now let’s work our way through the Mummy wraps of the Act 3 questline….

As was mentioned on the rundown post Act 2 of Halloween runs until, well, Halloween (10/31), and you’ll need to send 5 Springfielders on an 8hr task to get things started.

Halloween 2018 How-To: Act 1 Crafting

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Ah the Crafting post….where I give you the how-to and break down each and every item available to craft, so you don’t miss a thing!

Love it or hate it, EA has proven over the last couple of years that crafting is here to stay.  While the prizes themselves are pretty self-explanatory, collect this to earn these prizes, crafting is a whole other “animal”.  Crafting requires some self-direction.  You decide what you want and collect the items to craft accordingly.  Sometimes this is successful and sometimes it’s not. And, as with all things, for some events crafting is easier than others.

While we thought they finally did away with crafting after the last event, Moe’s Ark, it’s back and the same as always for THOH.  Now I know some of you still have questions so, let’s take a look…

Turbo Tappin’ Halloween 2018: Act 1

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

There are two predictable events in TSTO every year, Halloween and Christmas.  They’re generally two events guaranteed to excite tappers and get everyone talking about TSTO.  Well, the Halloween event hit our games earlier today, and with it arrived Vampires and garlic…lots and lots of garlic…as we return to the traditional monster filled Halloween in TSTO.

As was mentioned on the rundown post Act 1 of Halloween runs until October 17th, and you’ll need to send 5 Springfielders on a 6s task to get things started.

Don’t forget the Questline will help you get some bonus prize currency…so make sure you complete it to earn that extra currency…also the questline is there to guide you.  Make sure you complete the main questline in order to unlock things like neighbor actions, crafting and more.

Now let’s work our way through the garlic bites of the Act 1 questline….

Halloween Update Day!

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

It’s update day!  Yes, later today (as in 10am ET, so about 3.5 hrs from now) we should see Halloween hit our games…it’s not live yet.

Remember, this is an APP STORE update, and the update hit app stores yesterday.  So if you haven’t updated yet you’ll need to check your App Stores for the update.  (if you don’t see it try hard closing your app store and restarting your device.  Also, try searching tapped out.  Sometimes it doesn’t appear in the update list)

There’s no significant prep to worry about for this event, just remember to keep certain characters free (listed in this spoiler post) for event tasks.

We’ll be back at 10am ET with the Act 1 details until then treat this post as an Open Thread to ask “is it here yet? is it here yet?”…. 😉

Treehouse of Horror XXIX Teaser Coming Later Today

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Some of you may have noticed (and some of you did in fact comment yesterday) that a little in-game update hit our games yesterday.  That little update was new content hitting the files for the Treehouse of Horror XXIX Teaser!

Yes, a teaser for the next event.  This will hit our games later today (once Super Powers is officially over).  So look for the short little questline and small content to hit our games around 10a ET today.  And a little teaser for the content can be seen in the character collections…

I’ll be back once it hits with details on the teaser itself…

Also, the new content (THOH XXIX Teaser) is slated to end on October 3rd, next Wednesday, which is very likely when we’ll see the official THOH XXIX Event!  So start getting excited for Halloween!

THOH XXVIII Prize Guide: Unlocking Lord Montymort

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Well, we’ve reached the end of the marathon and we can see the finish line in sight!  The 2017 THOH/Magical Event ends tomorrow…Tuesday Nov. 14th…and I’m sure most of you (no matter your opinion of the event) are ready to see it go!  Bring on what’s next!

But before we talk about what’s up ahead, let’s finish what’s in front of us first.  Let’s quickly breakdown the tasks and questline for Lord Montymort…likely the final prize many of you are unlocking today (or did so this past weeked)…or in some cases the last prize many of you are debating on spending donuts to finish off before the event ends.
