Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
I apologize that this is going up so late…I have A LOT going on this week, so posts will be very delayed. I’ll try my best to get content up, but I can’t promise it’ll get done.
It’s time for everyone’s favorite update in TSTO…Halloween! (well, mine is still Christmas…but I digress…) Will the Simpsons survive this horror update?! Only time..and 5 weeks of tapping will tell!
Once again we see another multi-event in Springfield. So love them, or hate them, they’re still here. So let’s all try to make the best of this…
Anywho….things kick off with a series of 6s tasks for Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Flanders…
After you’ve completed the initial task you’ll kick off the Treehouse of Horror Event!
First, remember this was an app store update available for download. So if you haven’t already done so, and you don’t see the Splash Screen above (or a variation of it) for your game, or snow in your Springfield head to your app store and update TSTO. You may have to search the store for Tapped Out, as it doesn’t always appear on the update list initially…

Now on with the details for Act 1!
Here’s EA’s event synopsis:
Halloween is the new “it” holiday, and Springfielders are going crazy for it in the most crassly
commercial way possible. Lisa tries to teach them the true meaning of dread and horror by publicly
reading “The Fall of the House of Usher”, but her audience quickly gets bored and leaves in search of
more shock value. One person appreciates her effort though: Edgar Allan Poe himself!Eager to learn about this future world where Halloween is such a big deal, Poe first embarrasses himself (and Lisa) but trying to fit in, and then becomes angry when he’s unable to teach Springfielders the true meaning of horror either. A mocking Bart decides to teach Poe and Lisa what’s what by summoning the true “old guy” master of horror: H.P. Lovecraft!
After quarreling with each other about who’s the better teller of macabre tales, Poe and Lovecraft
briefly team up to thwart the town’s semi-regular zombie invasion. But afterwards, Lovecraft is
determined to prove he’s the best by enlisting Mad Doctor Itchy’s help in giving life to his most twisted
creation ever: Sideshow…Chicken?
We should all know by now unless of course, you’re new to TSTO that the prizes for this event follow the same questline format to unlock as our regular mini-events do.
Here’s the event schedule:
Act 1 Starts October 12th (WEDNESDAY)
Act 2 Starts October 21st (FRIDAY)
Act 3 Starts October 30th (SUNDAY)
Act 4 Starts November 8th (TUESDAY)
Event Ends November 16th, 2022 (WEDNESDAY)
As I stated above, the initial quests are 6s. Once completed you’ll start The True Meaning of Halloween questline, which is the Act 1 story to follow. This is how you’ll unlock the Act 1 prizes.

Marge: Hurry up, everyone! Once we finish shopping for Halloween treats, I have another treat — Krusty’s new Halloween special!
Krusty: It’s “special” because it’s a thirty-minute commercial for my Krustyland Halloween Horror Night — with commercials. Don’t worry kids. There will be gore galore! You’ll be wetting your pants more than you already do!
Bart: That sounds awesome! I’m bringing diapers so I don’t miss a thing!
Krusty: Butcha gotta watch my special first!
Homer: Halloween is the new “it” holiday.
Ned: Yep, I’m even into it!
Lisa: Mr. Flanders, who are you dressing up as?
Ned: Polystar Pictures’ latest superhero sensation: Stigmata Man! I shoot bloody webs from my palms making Jerusalem safe from Roman sentries everywhere!
Lisa: Sounds very kid friendly.
Make Homer Shop for a Sexy Costume for Marge- 6s

Make Lisa Shop for a Meaningful Costume- 6s
Make Flanders Shop for Fake Blood- 6s
And this triggers the entire story premise for each act…

Now let’s talk about what’s included…

purchasing bigger and more outlandish Halloween costumes and decorations. Krusty cashes in by
hosting a Halloween Horror Night at Krustyland devoted to shocks and gore. A dejected Lisa tries to
teach people the true meaning of dread and horror by publicly reading “The Fall of the House of Usher”,
but her audience quickly gets bored and leaves in search of more shock value. One person appreciates
her effort though: Edgar Allan Poe himself!
DO NOT FORGET TO SCROLL UP AND DOWN IN THE TASK BOXES (PICTURED ABOVE) TO BE SURE TO COMPLETE ALL TASKS FOR EACH PART.
I’ll lay out specifically what you need to do for each part in the turbo tappin’ post, but I don’t want any of you to get messed up with this. So don’t forget to SCROLL!
