Do all of the buildings earn money?
No. While almost all of the buildings earn money there are a handful of buildings that do not earn money but have other tasks. Cletus’s Farm does not earn money as the other buildings do instead it earns money through growing crops, Channel 6 earns money through news broadcasts and Open Air Stage earns money through characters performing. While Springfield Downs earns money through betting on the Dog Races.
Town Hall, Moe’s Tavern, Springfield Elementary & the Police Station do not earn money. However, your neighbors can vandalize those buildings with spray paint while visiting and you earn money from cleaning up the spray paint.
Finally, Springfield Retirement Castle is the one building that does not earn money, has no tasks to earn money, and cannot be vandalized. However, it’s a building you must purchase in order to get Grandpa Simpson.
Of course there are more, that I’m sure I don’t have on this list..but the bottom-line is, no. Not all of the buildings in Springfield earn money.

Hey. I got a new phone and can’t find the app in the App Store. Did something happen?

Addicts app – Stopped being supported months (possibly year+) ago and is no longer in the store

Make sure to put “The Simpsons Tapped Out” in the search function. You should see it there.
Back into the game after a few year and I finally got level 60. Two of my daily challenges is still locked (second and third). Is there something else I need to do to unlock those?
You should get one a day. So if you don’t finish todays, you should see it in the first slot tomorrow and tomorrows in the second slot.
Ah OK thank you. I always complete the first slot instead of letting it build up, that’s why the other two always look locked, right?

If I leave the game for about 8 hours or more – I then have to log in again and wait for the blooming update – does this happen with anyone else .?
Is anyone having a problem with the daily quests? I have not had one really since the start of the Halloween event update. I have emailed EA a couple of times and nothing. I have even deleted the game a couple of times and there still is no quests. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
I have two tickets opened with EA as I never got the thanksgiving update and the game is no longer in my okay store. That keep closing it and saying please reopen that they had called and they never did. My friend deleted her game and now can’t re add because it isn’t there. We both have android phones. What a con! Not happy with EA at all. Been playing this for over 5 years. Oh, and now when I click my game it tells me I need to update. When I try it says the game us not compatible with my phone? Worst. Game, company. Ever!
I seem to have picked up a Magic Act Milhouse for no reason. He came in on Tuesday. I assumed he was some kind of lead in to the new event… I guess not though. It’s a bit odd.
Can anyone please help me ? I don’t have the Halloween event showing .. is it possible that I’ve missed it as I only started playing the game again on Nov 8th .. thanks for any help x
How can I get some of the older caracters and building from other past events?
You’ll have to wait until EA offers them again. They often make appearances in Mystery Boxes or on Black Friday sales. Black Friday is just a couple weeks away.
You will need donuts to buy them. You can do it the EA way by paying real money, or the Safi way by KEM farming.
I have “unlocked” Montymort’s Lair but cannot locate it in my inventory or as a skin for the nuclear power plant towers. Is this intentionaly because I have finished the Lord Montymort battles yet?

No, it’s just a glitch some people are reporting. Try re-starting/re-syncing your game and then checking the Inventory. Don’t go into the Buildings folder or Decorations folder. Within the full main Inventory that initially pops up, start scrolling through. I found mine about 50 items in.

Hey I just started playing this game again after a few months on break. I’m trying to start this Halloween Event but there’s no task indicator or anything when I load the game up. I’ve tried all sorts of troubleshooting but can’t trigger the quest line.

What happened to the TSTOaddicts ios app? It’s gone from the App Store and I can’t find any announcement on this site. Is it coming back?
They had issues with it and stopped supporting it months (years?) ago.
Would anyone happen to know why I can’t start the can’t stand the heat pt 1 quest? The quest is there but has a red dot with a slash through it. All my characters are free, so that isn’t the problem. If you could help it would be greatly appreciated! 😊
So I have open the Springfield Heights and unlock the furniture, coffe shop and institute. Now I’m at the 700K real estate point level and try to upgrade to 1M which need 25 latte, but the coffee shop capacity is 20. The requirement for increasing capacity is 1M REP, so I think I am stuck. Any suggestion? Thanks

Crafting says I have the forest cave but I can’t find it. Any suggestions on how to find it
Has the Rail Yard changed? I used to have to wait until Tuesday for a new round (after completing the previous 25000 part minigame) but now it seems I can keep turning in parts until I hit 25000 and it resets right away? Is anyone else getting this too?

When going to my neighbors, I know I’m supposed to get prizes when I tap on the creatures but I’m not any more. Is there a limit to when they stop?
when u go into the friends list of games (starts with other springfield then friends in alphabetical order)at the bottom left there is the friendship level bar. above that is the amount of wands. tap the ‘i’ beside it and it’ll tell u if uv reached ur limit for the day.
Do events ever repeat? The fire department event occurred while I was deployed and had no access to the game. I would really like to have the fire station and fire truck.
They don’t repeat events- but they do often bring back items to purchase. Do hang in there! And thank you for your service!
Items and characters from previous events return in the Mystery Boxes when they are appropriate to the running event.
i only unlocked the space rocket event and the chiliad over the last few wks. could be wrong, but if u never got the event, theres a chance itll pop up randomly in the future. if u started but didnt complete, uv missed ur chance.
I was recently awarded the unicorn wizard and got a message it was put in my inventory, but I cannot find it. Any ideas where to find it?
It is in your inventory for sure. I had the same problem and had to rummage though the whole inventory to find the unicorn 🦄 Wizard.
try inventory, then the top option of the 3 boxes just to the left.(pic is of homer, bart and santas lil helper) that should show any characters u have available.

I’ve been having a bit of an issue with my game and wondered if anyone knew how to fix this? Recently when signing in my app kicked me out and asked my to sign in from scratch. At this point my password kept coming up as incorrect although I KNOW it was right. After a while the game seemed to move on saying “Welcome to EA and that there was a Level 1 Springfield on this device and was this me or not.” It wasn’t so I press no and then go to a screen telling me to make a new Springfield. If I pass on that then I’m back to the Welcome to EA screen. I was Level 130+ and had loads of stuff I’d collected over the years. Getting slightly worried now and hoping I’ve not lost everything. Also I want to earn my Unicorn Wizard lol. Anyone else ever had anything like this?

I am not good at searching, but I tried. For our little halloween event going on right now will Milhouse, Lisa, Bart, Martin, and Angelica be the main Beast Enchanters? We we ever get enough to fill all of the doors at the same time?

We all are struggling with this during this Act. In Act 2 and 3 there will be others (most likely the kids) who will enchant the monsters.
best to unlock and enchant one beast fully, then onto the next. iirc, the unicorn wizard will help in act 2. could be wrong on that tho.
Hi, I bought donuts on Friday night (the deal with the skin for the squeeky voiced teen) every day since I get a message that my purchase was processed and I have more donuts. There are no charges hitting my account but I’m getting donuts everyday. Any ideas as to what is happening? I can’t pay for all these. It’s happening to my wife as well.

Yes. Each character, when fully “enchanted and released” will earn even currency, as well as articles of clutter…er…uhm…decorations every 4 hours.
Treesatche only makes trees/shrubs that are not unique. You can buy them in the store. Dragon info will be on that post, which i hope to have up tonight
I have been trying to get in to my game since around noon (eastern) today but I somehow got logged out of my account and when I enter my email address and password I get and error message telling me my password is wrong. I followed the “forgot my password” steps even though I didn’t forget it. And nothing… no reset email, nothing!
I have tried contacting EA, but I was supposed to get a call from a tech 10 minutes ago I still haven’t heard from anyone.
I really don’t want to uninstall and reinstall my game. Any suggestions before I uninstall my game. (Because honestly, if EA says my password is wrong uninstalling the game and reinstalling it isn’t too likely to fix that problem)

so if that doesn’t work, make a new email for your account and make a new password

guys I need your help I’m level 153 on tapped out, and I’ve been (and I’m) stuck on the stupid part that “Make Homer Buy Champagne” quest of the “[Cards Are Read, Marge’s Hair is Blue]” questline, ok my point is to need to know if you can help me in any form/way, thanx
Are we supposed to be getting rewards for visiting peoples towns for the Halloween event? I visited a friends town and only one gave me a reward but everyone else gives me just money. I visited most of my friends & then checked and nothing had changed.

So do I. Finally all the half- and S-track have been replaced by full straights. Wish EA would bring us real switches and crossings.
(I know you can make makeshift switches. Done that before.)
How do you make the make shift switches?
Take a S-curve and a straight. Put them parallel to each other.
You operate the switch by selecting both pieces of rail and move them together.
You need some free room for the switch.
It is a bit fiddly, but it works.
It is even possible to make a three directional switch with one straight and two S-curves.

I’m glad someone posted about this because I thought maybe something was “broken” in my game. I love it too, but I do wonder if it is a glitch or a permanent change. If the latter, I would consider investing in Little Lisa’s Recycling Plant and Uriah’s Heap. And maybe Uter. 🙂
I’m having the same problem. Every time I go to TSTO on my iPad, it makes me do an 800+ MB update. Deleted the app, restarted, added it back, no change. Doesn’t do it on my phone, but I’d rather play on the ipad
i have the same problem. 799,3 MB to be downloaded after signing in to EA account. Happens approx once per day
why everytime what i want to play tapped out, i must update the app (700 mb approximately)? I must log in again and again. I deleted the game and reinstalled, but nothing, the problem persist. This began with county fair. pleas help me!!!!
