Hi! I’m so sorry if this question has already been asked, but how do you get more storage? The game wanted me to unlock the next building/land with yoga mats from LA Bodyworks, but it won’t let me make more than 10 without more storage, and I can’t see how I make more storage? Please help! Thank you in advance x

How come i have some neightbors having in there Springfield things that not yet available in the game? I saw the building that we will get only at the end of Act 3 of Monorail event. And i also saw a 4th Monorail station : The Mall-O-Rail that looks like a huge Shopping mall. (??) Why he has it and not me?! Lol One of them also put his Railtracks in the sea to make it cross into his Springfiel Heights… I try and its impossible!! How is it possible??
The correct term is “Hacker” or “Altered game”. Or… “EA will not care if something happens and offers no support for altered games to you and will shut you down if found out” 😉

That is up to you. If you feel it is necessary, then do so. If you don’t want them as a Neighbor… delete them. I try to let EA do the policing. 🙂

Whats up with the projects for act2 of monorail??? The first act let u do as many projects as you could now you’re limited to a certain number a day and the board says completed… Why???? How can we get theough all the prizes if thats the case

Posting so I can get email notification
When doing the blueprints projects I was always able to trade in for adding to the total number of items collected. Now we are in the Duck Tape era I have now found that I have hit a wall. I completed the daily projects and continued to trade in but have now got the word Completed where normally the trade in and am unable to trade in anymore with some time before the next set of daily project ta comes along. All stores are full of recycling so stuck as where to go

There is a daily cap on how much you can earn from the project board. I’m sure we’ll have a post up in the near future on the numbers involved.
Still haven’t received any of the off set track pieces, my son got 2 when he first started, must be random on what we get. I need a couple for my planned route, hope they arrive somehow soon. Anyone getting these?

Lol. So the S curve track. Those are random in the packs this Act. And I got them random in Act one from the bonus rails after Personal Prizes.

will you be doing a “visiting neighbors” post for this event? mostly i’m interested in why some buildings can be tapped and some can’t.
There’s no real rhyme or reason as to why some buildings can be tapped and others can’t. Just the way it’s programmed
Not talking turns, but S-curves, a straight piece but with a one-square shift.
I have gotten the curved pieces in my bonus packs from the prizes. Seems to be one in each pack 🙂
How do I acquire the s-curve track pieces. I see them in other towns, there’s a spot for them in my track inventory, but I’ve not received any in my track upgrade packs. Are they a premium purchase (I don’t see them in my store, unless they’re part of the Krusty station)?
I think mine appeared through the BONUS earning Blueprints after you hit all the Personal Prizes. I can’t figure out where else I got the 2 I did. Unless a random Project Clearing awarded them. Those are the only two times I saw the pop up “you won rail piece”. Sometimes I tap too fast to catch it all.
I haven’t got to the bonus pieces, yet, should start later today I think, so I’ll keep an eye out. Thanks for the quick response.
I got ‘S’ peices as part of my standard blueprint prizes. Only got straight prices from my bonus so maybe they’re awarded randomly?
Not sure if mentioned before but, it seems that blue houses are not tappable to make “smelly”. Anyone else notice this?
Every time I go to plectrum the smellies from my homes/buildings my game kicks me out. How does this get fixed?
Try storing and replacing the buildings causing the crashing. If that doesn’t work contact EA
It’s occurring with every building, not just one unfortunately.
Then it’s a contact EA issue…
An addendum to the prior comment. I called up EA, and they are escalating the issue. They have a clone of my town and are working to get it resolved. 8-12 hour turnaround, they said. Ugh!
But they said they will “compensate” … With what? Who knows.

This morning I noticed my monorail train is smoking. Is anyone else seeing this?
Mine is smoking as well and my monorail won’t open. I had some commentary around Homor opening a window but that was it.
I remember reading somewhere that you could run your monorail between Springfield and Springfield heights but cant seem to figure it our or find the instructions any help would be appreciated.

I do not remember mine coming with any. Should I Buy coming on it though, so we will retest it again. You can use all the pieces the regular Monorail has. They’re kind of there for them both.
No, it doesn’t. I bought it last night. Just connected it to the rest of my track. Nice thing is that the monorail briefly stops at the Krusty Drive Through Station before proceeding.
So, the same as when I bought it? No tracks included still. Thanks. I was curious if the new update changed anything, but haven’t bought it in my 2nd game yet. 😉

This is odd… But my krusty drive thru came with loads of new track. Only reason I bought it, but I got 4 straight, and 2 of each of the other track pieces including the s bends.
I got extra peices with mine.
Any chance of a Should I Buy for the 2 premium buildings offered for this event? I jumped the shark and bought Krusty Drive Through Station solely for the esthetics. However, I realized Little Lisa’s Recycling Depot offers more blueprints and occupies a unique spot. Tempted to splurge for this event.

Can’t wait for it! I feel EA has really stepped up this year. I am hoping Monorail will come close to the awesomeness of the Super Hero Event. I can’t believe I am willing to splurge so many donuts on this event. Something about monorail hits close to home. What a wonderful nostalgic episode!

Ok… Ma Mr. Burns needs to hide nuclear waste as part of the event but instead of it displaying 1/1 it shows -18/1. Is that normal? I’ve never seen this before.

Totally unrelated: Of coursse you don’t have to answer if you don’t want to but I’m a bit curious how much real money you spend on rushing through events just to be able to share the information with the rest of us. I guess you are not EA’s worst customers 😉
Will look into updating the Calendar Page Link as we have in past. Just LOTS going on, so its more on the “after” list. Lol.
As far as $$$, that is hard to say. It varies every single Event. Just Personal Prizes can cost anywhere from 1400-2000 Donuts. That is just Personal Prizes and just per Act at times. Add to that the time of each task and Donut speed cost. The cost of Premiums. On and on. So that may give you a rough idea. A lot of it we try to just play out ourselves and keep a single game only that speeds for the site. Look at it this way, if you added it up, what would it cost YOU to complete an Event on just using Donuts. 😉

Here’s a glitch I haven’t read anything about yet — every time I try to clear garbage from Wolfcastle’s mansion, the game crashes. But it only happens with that building. I read your earlier post about dealing with crashes, took your suggestion and deleted the game from my device (iPad — I don’t know how you guys can play on your phones…), reloaded it and a zillion updates, signed in to Origen again, tapped on Wolfcastle’s mansion and the game crashed again. I know the next step is to contact EA (which I know is not you :)) but given the struggles some others have had, I’m thinking about just ignoring it until the event is over. Is there any downside to leaving one building uncleared? What would you do?

This happens to me on half of my boardwalk….so frustrating! It’s about 6 buildings. I guess I will just leave for now too.
WARNING!!! I’m sooo mad I am seeing red!!! I complained to EA about my game continually freezing up. They wrote me an email telling me that they are aware of the problem and are fixing it. In the meantime, here are 15 free donuts! So, I log back in and EVERYTHING related to the monorail was GONE!!!! It went back to where I needed to add the dump. All of my monorail parts are gone… i was at the part where I just added the building parts. I had a dumping permit! I had more land so I could add the new stuff. i upgraded lots of my Springfield heights buildings.. ALL GONE!!! Wrote back to them to le them know… waiting on a response. I’m really MAD! So… DO NOT tell EA about any freezing issues you have, you MIGHT lose all of your stuff!
It seems they did a typical “roll back” possibly to pull you out of the Freezing so you could play.
My suggestion once they get you all sorted back out, right now a LOT of players are freezing due to how highly active this event is. The memory drain is insane. So if you find your device is struggling to handle it… try these tips I passed on all over the comments to help you combat Memory Drain…
Disable Monorail. Pull the track pieces away.
Store NPC’S and any other animated items not in use. Don’t push the 4500 limit. Keep non essential Characters on indoor task or store them in your inventory.
I had already stored many items, didn’t even have my characters on any tasks except for the monorail tasks. Guess I could store them since I’m not using them once it’s all sorted out as you suggested. Right now I feel like I just want to abandon my game. Been playing for over 2 years. Very frustrated. Thanks for your advice and for “listening” to my frustration. And thanks for always being there for us, you make the game so much more fun.
You’re welcome. I just know from experience when I see the memory drain hit hardest for players. Makes it rough. This one is very active so many devices are gonna struggle. Especially older ones or ones with lil to no storage on the device itself.

its just because the dumps animations changes when its near full capitcity of the the little trashcans e.g. 1950/2000, if you spend them on projects the pile will get smaller. if theres nothing in there it will be empty. hope this helps 🙂
