Well outside the fact that some hopped in from last year and/or the Halloween before, we did some background on them once upon a time and just wanted to refresh that info for you now. So here is the WDTCF: Halloween Reboot Edition.

I dig Witch Marge even more now! I got her because she’s so incredibly useful with crops (at least she will be after the event), but after reading the WDTCF post, I remembered that she’s from one of my favorite THOH stories.
wheres the jewish golem? need that guy roaming my town. my all time fav is the one where lisa creates life with her tooth and coke, but that might be a little hard to add to the game

No. Just a glitch…or altered game.
Woohoo! Finally got the Grand Pumpkin (was not expecting it to be animated so I’m happy), got 3 spooky walls from the gift bags (I crafted 2 until I read your post about the probability to win them), and won the grand prize on the Scratch Off Tickcet. Now if Gil would kindly drop by with an awesome donut deal….. 🙂
No update on Google Play so far… will keep an eye on the game and another on the update since it’s the usual way: hours behind Apple devices 🙁
Only Update we have seen is a patch. No changes to the game.
My game is telling me the update is required and sends me to the App Store — but when I get there, there is no update. Any idea why/what I should do?

Very odd. Try to restart your device and look again. All we have seen is a patch, nothing new. If that doesn’t help, try to uninstall and reinstall the game.
Thanks — must have been an App Store thing. I updated to ios 8.1 and then it let me install the TSTO update.
I wonder what bugs the update was fixing? Cletus’ farm is still going tonto!

Anyone know what that update was about? Just server upgrades or fixing the Halloween bugs?

Weird though – forced through the app store, not just in game… Made me curious too. No info on the desctiption in Apple store.
So both the Great/Grand Pumpkin and The Spooky House are new items to the game? I was not sure since (unlike the Pumpkin House and most of the limited-time premium items) I had not seen these previously in Neighbours’ towns.
Uh Huh. Grand Pumpkin was just an icon last year, similar to the Trophy icon this year. A placeholder for the event. First time we have seen the Spooky House.
The Frog Prince could throw up some donuts sometimes .. Maybe once a month ..
