If you haven’t already then head to your App Store and grab the update

Sorry this is both late and rushed, but here’s a quick look at what’s new for this mini event.

What EA said: ( Store Blurb )

Mayor Quimby went cheap and hired some college students to fix Springfield’s Y2K problem! But like all undergrads, they procrastinated, and now if it’s not fixed by midnight the entire town will blow up – again! When Professor Frink tries to save the day, he accidentally sends Springfield back to the Stone Age. At least the only bugs to deal with there are mosquitoes.

  1. I already have the PREHISTORIC CAR! I did a Fast Game, but Cannotfind where it w3 not! Thankyou for any help!

    • It’s an NPC so it’s either roaming at random on a bit of road somewhere in your town or perhaps in the Characters bit of your Storage

  2. I really like the skin prizes of homer and marge. I also loved that they added a lot of different rocks and plants. For those who farm donuts it is no problem but for those don’t it would have been better if it was purchased through in game cash.

  3. Thanks for posting! I depend on tsto to let me know when to actually start playing again because I get lazy with donut farming in between events.

  4. Lisahadathought

Can’t play because most everyone I need to start is in 24 hour jobs but I did notice that my old Mayan does have jobs now. Though nothing that is an outside task. And also I like that we still have snow.

  5. charlesthefirst1

I was thinking the beginning dialogue would be a great way to end the game. Have the nuclear power plant blow, nuke the game (with atomic bomb animation) and a final thankyou for playing.

  6. Over here funky

They finally fixed the screen resolution on the iPhone 15 pro, you forgot to mention this

  7. I just noticed that the original NPC Mayan God now has tasks – perhaps it came with this update? Nice touch.

  8. Is that a different mayan god than the one from years ago? And didn’t we already have the history museum?

    🤔

    • New – I’ll get there in a day or three with full write-ups

    • The old one is the Mayan God.. the new one is the Mayan Associate God. Both have tasks. when you look them both up in the Town Hall Censes list.

We had the Museum of Natural History release October 2013 and now added the new building Spring Field History Museum released on January 17, 2024

A little building history from the tv series
The Springfield Natural History Museum is the second Museum of Natural History of Springfield, after the first was burnt down and after being rebuilt, closed due to lack of interest.

  9. Thanks for getting that out there at short notice Graham, much appreciated

  10. Mayan God I’d big like God and Yahweh. I collect Gods.

  11. I tried looking this up in the archives. I already have the Mayen God NPC from the past. That’s an NPC. Doesn’t even do anything. It just wanders around town and looks at you when you tap them. This Mayan associate God. Are they just another NPC that does literally nothing? Does it have a quest line that involves the Mayen God actually becoming more than just a boring NPC?

    • I’ll get to that, but I’ve a few thousand lines of info to go first

    • In my game I can now send him on tasks (rewarding as premium character) but I cannot send him on the event tasks.

    • Like Pin-Itchy-o, the Mayan God has become a real character! He now has tasks, such as disliking square calendars. 📅

    • I checked, and the Mayan god in my town actually has tasks. At the moment he is on a 24 hour task of scaring birds in the park. I look forward to the post that’s going to be coming in a few days but it’s nice for me that Mayan god actually does stuff now.

    • if you check the Town Hall Censes you will see that both Mayan Gods have tasks. They are no longer NPC’s

      • It’ll all become clear …
The post on the new one is up and a post on the old one coming in a couple of hours.
The new one was released as a character, not an NPC, and the old one was given tasks to make it playable

  12. I don’t get what this has to do with Y2K though

  13. THANKS as always for all your great information!! Very much appreciated. I updated and just started this new event. Cheers.

  14. When does the mini-event begin?
