It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons or current Tapped Out event) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

Simpsons is off for the summer. Did you catch the last episode 18 season finale reminder? What did you think of the season finale? Did you ever have a pet organ? Also, as mentioned 21 weeks ago, season 35 is finally under way in the UK. Did you catch the start of season 35 if you live in the UK?
The next Act of the current major event, The Summer of our Discontent, just got underway this week. Did you catch Graham’s rundown? How are you progressing so far in the mini event?
Did you submit your photos to Alissa for the last event’s Showoff?
How’s your Springfield design coming? What are you doing with your town? Share some photos in the comments below! (If you need a refresher on how to add photos to the comments check out this post)
Any weekend excitement going on in your neck of the woods? Any Father’s Day plans? Did you do anything special with your father?

Anyone else have a game that’s not letting you in? It’s been at least 12 hours. The game updated, my iPad is update; I’m not sure what to do. Thank you for any help!

Hello Tappers, just wondering if anyone has swapped devices from iOS to Android in the past? and if so, can you still login to your town?
Apologies if already covered previously.
Swapped years ago and had no problems.
To expand on glenntanim11’s answer …
If you play as anonymous the info that connects your game to the data on the servers is stored on your device within the game files.
If you switch devices it’ll lose that link, unless you can back-up and transfer all the files to the new device.
If you uninstall to fix an issue that needs a fresh set of those files it’ll delete that link and you’ll lose your game.
If you connect your game to an EA account then you can access it at any time on any device with the game installed once you log in.
The other option is to have your Mayhem ID saved, screenshot that is easiest.
If you then need to uninstall or switch devices play as anonymous and complete the tutorial levels.
Once that’s done get a copy of the new Mayhem ID and contact EA Help.
You can request them to transfer the data from the old Mayhem ID to the new one.
Yup, plenty hassle – best to just get set up with an account !!

Having your Mayhem ID is important, even with an account.
If anything goes really wrong it’s the only way EA can find your game data !!
It’s also important you don’t share that ID with anyone except EA Help privately, never post it anywhere that other players could see it !!
