Have you spent the last 23 months wanting to do the Princess Opal quest task to Read Tarot Cards rather than have her Read Tarot Cards at the Tarot Table ?
If so I’m looking for as many affected players as possible to add their Me Too’s or Replies on the following AHQ thread so the Studio can see just how many of us still have this problem.
Log in there with the email and password for the affected game’s EA Account.
Posting on that AHQ thread rather than on here is the best bet to get it solved, unless you’re simply letting me know you’ve done it.
If you are not sure this applies to you then please use the link anyway and read the post carefully, it’ll explain it all clearly so you can be sure.
OP not sure if you gained any traction with EA after this post. Figured I’d check in just in case I missed an update.

Thank you. I reported to EA when it first occurred and replied to other posts at the time. I’ve added a me too on your latest post. Disappointing that EA doesn’t seem interested in resolving this one.
My Princess Opal says I need the Fortune Teller. How do I get that character? I thought I had bought every character, so I’m surprised I don’t have the Fortune Teller.
That’s a different thing entirely.
If you read the linked AHQ post you’ll see this is about a quest that can’t be done.
Trust me, those affected will know they’ve been stuck for almost 2 years now !!

I’d given up on it, and have her and the table stored for about 6 months now… it still shows in my task list, but I can irrationally convince myself it’s because she is stored 😆.

The Studio, who actually write this stuff, get linked in to relevant AHQ posts for problems.
The EA Community Team might read here, but no way to know if the people in charge do.
Neither of those ever reply in public or post on a site that isn’t EA, even incognito.
I’ve only had the 8 hour Read Tarot Cards at the Tarot Table OR with Fortune Teller when I put her on that 8 hour task she goes to the table and the Fortune Teller stands beside her…
There is no option of a 4 hour Tarot Card reading for me.
I am thinking if you don’t have the table.. but do have the fortune teller that you can still do the 8 hour task.
If you don’t have the fortune teller then it would only be the table for the task.. and maybe that would be 4 hours?
The joint task you mention is something else entirely
Look at the first pic in the linked thread and those three questions at the start.
The questline and the mismatch of jobs is the issue.
I’m assuming you didn’t run into this problem.
My B town was fine, but after seeing reports of issues I stored the Tarot Table in my A town to try and find an answer – and ended up with an unsolvable problem..
