First up I’ve seen some of you ask about getting hold of the splashscreen as a memento or to use as wallpaper so I’ve uploaded the hi-res version from the spoiler pack.

What we did get was …
● The longest Intro I’ve ever seen.
● A 5 part Prizetrack questline with all the Donut Generators and the GGR, or Donuts instead for items you already owned.
● The end of in-app purchases.
There’s new items in the Currency section of the store for you to trade those $$s for Ds instead.
Safi has a post planned for Monday about that, and I may have a follow-up on maximising those sprinkles.
● The first of 5 batches of Returning Items in store.
Those will show up once you complete part 4 of the prizetrack.
The other 4 will show up one a week on Tuesdsays :
1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd of October.
No need to panic, these will remain until the end.
It starts with the oldest and ends up with stuff from the last couple of years.
We also get the brand new stuff with the last batch.
● No more Shattered Dreams or Yearbook.
There’s those waves of Returning Items instead.
You can now trade Shattered Tokens, and any other forgotten mystery box tokens, for donuts.
Spent today sorting Dialog and Tasks after my usual source glitched out, so there will be a Turbo Tappin’ ( for what it’s worth ) and a Dialog Recap as well as posts on those Returning Items and the new stuff.
I have no idea when though. I do know there are posts planned but not what or when just now, so I’ll do what I can to work round all those.

i’ve done the submersible and it seems that i only get a tile one out of three times….of course, i haven’t tried it since they announced the end of the game.
Were the singing stones a unique buy or were more than one set allowed? 2016 release.
I noticed them in the taps release and I remember having them and getting the tune wrong 😆, anyway bought them again and did the homer, lisa short dialogue and then was told singing stone 8 was in my inventory, it wasn’t there so searched my town and found it in my superhero area? Don’t know if I have another set somewere, looked but couldn’t see them?

Hope EA release some character and costumes so that I can enjoy doing tasks for a bit, I have 676 characters.
I had never purchased the singing stones before so I picked them up this time. Did the song and it said that the last piece was in my inventory. I looked everywhere and can’t find it. (Not that it really matters anymore anyway 😭.)
I suppose it could have been placed in your town, I was lucky to find it in mine, 🤞

Anyone had an issue getting Homer’s Stonecutter outfit? He’s the only one I’m missing and I can’t seem to see it anywhere in Taps 1 or 2. Or am I just being blind to it and scrolling past?
You have to do Number 1’s quest.
I’ve completed all of Number 1’s quests. Have the stonecutter lodge. There’s no more quest line (that I can see). I have all of the other stonecutters, the only quest that’s waiting is for Jasper to “Make 908 get paddled” but there’s no way of doing it. Maybe it’s a bug?
Not much in taps 1&2 I wanted, looking for hot flash costume and any superhero event stuff I missed, I read that it’s in taps 3 bundle.
Didn’t get it in 2018, I didn’t play much as I was grieving which took a lot out of me and my family.
Game isn’t much fun the way ea has things set up but continuing to put characters on my favorite tasks and still playing a bit.
I was expecting Taps part 2 would include cash characters and decorations like Jeremiah Springfield, maybe they will add those later in Taps part 5?

I noticed TAPS pt 2 launched today. Got the singing stones & played the tune & it said the Secret Singing Stone was added to my inventory…but alas, it wasn’t. Sad that this is what our beloved game has been reduced to, a funeral march towards January 2025. My wife asked why we’re even bothering to play anymore…I said, that’s what addictions do, make us continue on futile quests. I really wish this was a bad dream I could wake up from & we would be enjoying the Halloween 2024 questline.
I deleted the game from my phone today. After opening it this morning and seeing Taps 2 had landed I got excited and started scrolling through to see what I wanted to buy but quickly became discouraged, not because of what was included, but by the fact that why waste any more time playing. What was the end game? It is all going away anyway. So I just decided to end it early. Not mad at EA, understand their reasons. Enjoyed this site through the years and while not a contributer, I appreciated everybody’s helpful suggestions and tips. Thanks and enjoy life!!

Any chance that some of the spoiler packs can be posted online now that the game is shutting down? I’d love to browse through a ZIP file full of stuff from the last decade of my life.
They’re not full of things you think they’re full of. All of the content in what we were sent from EA has been posted. Descriptions, images and that’s about it.
I am so sad the game is ending. Just logged into the Addams Family Mystery Mansion game today. Their notice of ending their game is Jan. 1, 2025. This is a double whammy of bad news.

I noticed that they are still charging the same amount for the extra chances when you do the level up or Find Maggie gift boxes. Don’t go for the extra chances. It’s 15000 to try for 3 donuts in the Maggie boxes when it’s only 7500 for 9 donuts in the store now.
Thanks for all that you’ve done to step in to the site over the past year. I will definitely miss my little town and will miss this site as well.
They should really be providing a way that players can download their Simpsons town to their own computers – it doesn’t have to be ‘playable’, but we should be able to look around the town, see the monorail in action etc.
Does anyone know how to keep some of the game sound effects? There are a few items I tap in my game I would love as tones for my phone.

Splash screens up to 2022, I thought of putting them all together for a large poster but trying to figure out how to do that?

No small task, but I might get it done.
Meanwhile use an app to figure a poster size and how many splash screens then bunch them, say 3 across by 20 down, and do a few sets. Expect at least 4 posters to make it work I’d say.
Thanks graham, I have 2 framed posters with 007 films and the beatles vinyl covers (Google for example) on my wall, i got them in the HMV store, so something that size would be ideal for the splash screens.
Omg. It’s so depressing checking into the game. I don’t think I can do it anymore. It just seems so pointless. Why would I care about using up all of my donuts on something thats going to disappear in January? I kind of wish they would just delete the game now and be done with it.
I hear ya and yes, I have the same, still don´t want to miss something, yet it is indeed pointless. Only thing I read somewhere is to complete the town and make a large nice print to keep at the end. But the energy and motivation seems to lack. My B-game has not been openend in days, I used to play daily.

I saw that the Whacking Day items were in the store in the first several days after the announcement – when we were all reeling from the news and had not yet had any clarifying posts from EA about things briefly rotating through the store. Now the Whacking Day stuff is gone! Do you know if EA plans to return those items or are we just out of luck – it’s very unfair if we truly had no idea that those items would be gone quickly.
