Hey everyone,
I just noticed that while the timer says event ends in 10 days how many ever hrs, mnts, but the farming licence says it’s available for 16 days. That’s prob the 10 days that were in the files but do you think they shortened the event to end in a week or will it be extended for extra crafting?
I’m doing better than I thought I’d be doing. With monsarno at 20, sprayer at 15 and opera house at 9, I’ve crafted the farmers market, 2 cane fields, the gas and grub and I just crated the welcome to springfield sign. I’m about 2000 DNA away from the house boat. I don’t know if I want to get the homer decoy or the smoke house but would like a couple cactus patches, a couple opera house ticket booths( they are good for decorating with), if possible and it seems like a few more cane fields with all the fertilizer and corn. Also, I’m at about 12,000 music notes so I will get all the prizes but if it does end in seven days it won’t allow for too many free bonus donuts. All in all, I’m pretty happy with this event. OMG, I hate this event. Never have I found it so difficult to craft stuff! I mean, come on. I am at level 51 in the game, my Monsarno research is at level 19, herbicide squirter level 8,and opera house at level 3. I’ve stopped upgrading monsarno research and the squirter. I have unlocked all of the prizes in act one and two, and am halfway through unlocking them all for act three.
Thing that pisses me off is that I have not been able to craft anything because of the upgrading 🙁 I want to craft stuff. WHY IS IT SO IMPOSSIBLE?!
Decided to upgrade the squirter to level 15, based on the advice given on this site. Hopefully that helps..
Brother, you should’ve upgraded your herbicide squirter to level 15 when you had the time. 25 craft currencies per bob clone is really the key to this dilema. Maybe now you don’t have enough time to upgrade your squirter. Depending on your situation, just do some math and try to maximise your income as much as possible. One great thing i did from the start of the event was that I first concentated on upgrading the event buildings to their optimum levels (Monsarno: 19, Herbicide: 15, Opera: 9(currently 8)), only after which i invested in crafting the freemium items. Now, i am sitting pretty much in a safe position to be able to craft all items at least once.

I did upgrade Monsarno as much as I could at first, but it just felt like it wasn’t paying off. Either way, by the end of the event, I did manage to craft a few items: the farmers market, the gas and grub, a cactus patch, and the sani-john smokehouse. I think my problem was that I was choosing the jobs that took more time. Once I started sending my peoples to 60 minute ones, I was doing a lot better. I did alright in the end, but am sad that I couldn’t craft a couple more items, like the homer decoy and the Simpson house boat. Oh well, live and learn. Next time I will check for tips on this site a lot sooner, as by the time I did for the Terwilliger event, it was into part 3.
I have monsarno at lvl 19 and my squisher at 15. Is there any reason to upgrade them any more?
In my opinion…no.
Once you have everything you want, is there any reason NOT to upgrade?
Not that I can tell. Give you something to spend those items on.
My daily is resetting at 1am.
Just found this interesting. I’m traveling one time zone east of my normal … and my daily quests are resetting at 1am local (my local +1) time.
Oh well. Guess I’ll be starting the 15th in the morning.
I could really use some advice. I want to get the Gas and Grub ( C 4600 – D 8300)but I find DNA doesn’t come easy. I have F 4475, C 8692, D 7267 & M 1059. My Monsarno level is 14. Is it worth it to upgrade to level 19 to help? Or should I just keep pushing on and save my fertilizer for the cactus patch (F 4500- M 2800) ? Or should I use my DNA to upgrade my Opera so youngsters could earn masks? I’m on level 52. Ahhhhhhhhhhh so confused! Thank so much in advance
You’re so close with the DNA i’d keep trying for it. You can upgrade, but at this point you’re close enough it may not be worth it.

I figured out I need to get 1240 a day to get the house boat… I’m not even close to getting that now, think I’m going to have to make a choice between the gas and grab or houseboat. Just don’t think it’s possible without spending doughnuts
I read this website multiple times daily, and have done for about a year, and have never commented about anything, but I have an issue that I’m not entirely sure how to fix:(
How do I get in contact with ea? With family guy you can message tinyco in-game but I saw no option for this on tsto. It’s just an issue with robert not being in the craftable section, and I’m sure it’s easily fixed:) thank you for any help you can suggest:)
EA’s actually a bit easier to deal with…as you can do a chat option or a call option. You simply go to:

And scroll all the way to the bottom of the page to the Contact Us Button (in Orange). And then follow the instructions, and at then end you’ll get options like Call Me or Chat Now. I will advise you that the chat option is almost always going to send you to support where their english isn’t so great. And often times those guys don’t have a clue what’s going on. However, if you’re patient you usually can get this resolved.

Do you have any details on the Captain Bob skin? I can’t decide if he’s worth the 100 donuts or not. Since he’s not voiced, the skin would have to have some good outdoor animations or larger payouts for event currency for me to get it. Any insight would be a plus. Thanks

Is it worth not updating Monsarno wasting things on it to get the objects they set out for you to get (markets etc)
I have a question about Mr burns money mountain on level 2 it asks you to make mr burns spend 10000 pound but it’s stopped allowing me to empty his pockets on the mountain is there a reason for this

I had the same problem. I sent Burns on his 12 hour monsarno task and when he was done I could send him to throw money on the mountain again. I don’t know if it reset the task by doing this or if EA fixed the glitch during that time.
After the main quest line of the current act finishes….do the quest that gives 100 gas masks for the completion of specific event related jobs follow a certain pattern?…or is it just random?…it would be very good to know the sequence if it actually has one to maximize my profits.

I don’t know how to bitch to the developers, so I’ll bitch here.
One thing that I find annoying (and unbalanced) in this and past events, is that when you are visiting other Springfields, there are only limited items you can earn, or seeds you can place, per 24 hr cycle. For instance (making up numbers) if you can only get 300 gas masks per day, and 15 per Springfield, then you only need to visit 20 to hit the max. And since they list alphabetically, then players will continually visit the first 20 friends every day to get the items, and then seed the area. Having a user name starting with R means none of my friends have bothered to seed my Springfield. The programmers should limit the number of items per hit (1 per hit, 3 per Springfield) , and then everyone will get visited for a total of 300 items per day. Then, even Zzyx@compuserve.com will get a visit, and benefit from the friend concept.
Hey am on level 52 and a task called the final note for Cecil has shown up ‘collect 3000 music notes’ but nothing else yet anyone had the same?

Hey guys. Just came back to Tsto after getting burned out with the clash of clones event last year. Started again yesterday part way through the lvl 45 questline! I guess I have missed quite a lot in the last few months. Anyway, my question is can I catch up in this event? I’m really confused by it all at the moment but I’m sure I will get used to it. I’ve finished building the masorno and am trying yo get materials for o do the upgrades.
It’s possible to catch up, you’ll just have to spend a lot of time in your game…

Ok I’m not sure but I believe the payouts for the tasks during the events have been lessened. I’m not sure if that’s true.
I know they made the masks go from 5 to 3…
What is the highest lvl of dna that can be collected from the monsarno building and how many levels can you lvl it to add to the amount of resource for max drop. Mine is at lvl 20 and last time I checked my payouts were one thing one time and one thing another.
This time it showed 11 for some which were the highest and other time it showed 10 but these were at the same lvl and refreshed tasks after that last ones from when was lvl 19.
Hope I not only one with weird glitch unless 11 is the max for dna from a task,..
I’am so sick oftast this event, please EA just let ut die. Boring prices, boring and way to “expencive” craft items…Am think I will move over too the family guy game, they have Star Trek and *** like that.
That’s funny…I stopped playing family guy for the last couple of weeks because Star Trek has bored me to death. I actually begged tinyco to just end the event and put me out of my misery….

I’m wondering what level I should upgrade the monsarno building to? I’ve leveled up to 15 on the sprayer and I’m stopping there. I’m up to 15 on monsarno and might stop at 17 but do you think it’s worth it to go up to 20?
One other thing I’m wondering is do you think we will get to keep Cecil or is he like Santa at Christmas? I think at the beginning of the event, we were awarded him but I was wondering what the files say.(I know things can change and I’m not asking for a definite answer, I’m just curious) thanx and have fun.
19 is my recommendation.
And yes, you should be able to keep Cecil once over…like Number 1 from Stonecutters.
Hi everyone, I have a question about the yellow highlighted quests for the Terwilligers ….some of the highlighted quests payout less than other quests that offer the same reward. Like, work the land for 1 hour gives you five bags of whatever the brown and green sack is or the highlighted 2 hour quest gives you 8 sacks. To me, it makes more sense to work the land twice for 10 sacks, but because the quest is no longer in yellow, im confused. I have been going for whatever the highest payout is. Can you comment on this? Thanks, jodi
The no longer in yellow is just an odd glitch going around. Sometimes they’re highlighted, other times they’re not. Just a strange thing going around.
And yes…often times the shorter tasks pay out more, if you can get in and clear them more frequently.
Over time… they are no longer “important” so they get cycled into the regular tasks. Just keep an eye out and pick the one yo uwant.
Thanks everyone who answered. One other quick comment on this. …I remember at some point there was dialog that went something like “im glad this is over” (working the land), that’s when it was no longer highlighted yellow. …so now that the other tasks are still yellow, maybe they still have to be done until who knows when, even if the payout is lower….but, you guys seem to have inside info so, I’m gonna stick with the higher payout for now. If anyone gets a character message saying something about a different task being completed, leave a comment! Thanks again, j
Hi all is it just me but on Sunday may 3rd I lost the 1 hour work the field task and now today may 4th I’ve lost the 2 hour dont care about the future. Is anyone else experiencing this?

What’s the purpose of this event, its not like I’m getting characters
You’re not? Haven’t unlocked the opera house and got sideshow? Don’t have Cecil roaming who may also turn into a character?
Just for data sake.
At the start of Act 2 I had enough of everything to craft the Farmer Market
Instead I boosted my Monsarno to level 15 or 16
Knowing how I had played, this would boost my speed of grinding enough to craft the Farmer Market & I am discipline enough to be cool with delaying that gratification.
I quickly earned enough to upgrade Monsarno to 17, where I have keep it.
–> Last night I gathered enough fertilizer to craft the Farmer Market
In addition to that my Hirbicide Squirter is at level 13, I picked that one because of the upgrades. Not sure if or when I’ll upgrade it again.
Right now I’m looking like this:
Monsarno = 17
Herbicide Squirter = 13
Fertilizer = 16466
Corn = 9536
DNA = 1183
Gas Masks = 11669
and I have 10 hours until my Opra house is built.
I am able to consistently play a lot & I have been playing for a at least multiple major holiday events (at least 2, maybe 3 Christmases for example) … so I have a lot of characters.
The only reason I’ve not started crafting the Farmer Market at this point is I am unsure if it’s like the previous that it finishing during Act 3 might boost my collection of stuff & I have a trip around the first of Act 3 that I’m unsure if I’ll be able to play.
Upgrade the other stuff? I’m not sure when I will. Monsarno is slightly more likely because I still have a ways to go on getting the Gas and Grub. If, probably when, I do upgrade more on either side it’ll be based on potential return, yet I know that for some reason the ROI on them is much lower at the higher levels.

I was cheated out of a 100 thousand dollars game crashed and when it updated. A 100 thousand dollars was missing from my bank this has happened twice in 2weeks. DAMN never gonna get pancake house game has stollen 200 hundred dollars in two weeks bout to be done with simpson all these glitches an crashes 🙁
Does anyone know if we will still need our mutant seeds for the next act? I have some saved back, but if we wont need them, I’d rather give them out to all my friends instead of lose them.
