Should I Spend Donuts on the Returning North Pole Bundle, Festive Bundle, or Christmas Market Bundle?

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Grab your Santa hats and break out the tinsel because…well because someone should!  The annual TSTO Christmas (or lack thereof) event has arrived in our pocket-sized towns, covering our usual perfect weather towns with a fresh blanket of bright, white, snow!   Of course, by now, we all know that a new event means a new excuse for EA to fill our stores with returning limited-time premium items to tempt us.

As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon.  But don’t sweat it!  That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.

Wondering if you should add the North Pole Bundle, Festive Bundle, or Christmas Market Bundle to your Springfield?  Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding these bundled throwbacks to your town…

For each of these bundles, they are unique.  Meaning you can only purchase them (entire bundle) once and they’ll disappear from your store. BUT if you purchased the bundle last year, you can still purchase it again this year.

My Opinion On It Now:
Really not a bad price if you’re looking to create a fun Christmas area, plus the 4% bonus for 50 donuts spend is nice as well. (generally, 2% for 40 donuts we say is great). If you’re looking for the decorations I’d say pick this one up.

My Opinion On It Now:
Not a bad price for what you get, but (to me) it’s short on Christmas decor.  Most of the stuff is squidport only, and not limited for the holiday.  Of the three bundles, I’d rank this last.

Overall, you honestly can’t go wrong with any of these bundles.  Loads of Christmas Decor.  I’d rank them: North Pole, Festive then Market in order of best buy.

What are your thoughts on the returning holiday bundle items?  Will you be spending donuts to bring any of these throwbacks to your Springfield?  Why or why not?  Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!

  1. The ice skating rink in the market bundle is a lot of fun – I keep my original one activated all the time. Has a tap-driven on/off switch. When activated, two skaters move around on the rink. So was happy to get another one with the bundle, along with the income-producing Ferris wheel and a couple more Christmas trees and another fireplace to boost bonus %. Also had run out of candy cane fencing, so getting some more was helpful.

The North Pole bundle was worth it for the bonus items and especially the reindeer, although would have preferred wandering reindeer.

I already had a lot of the other stuff ( I especially had gone wild with the gumdrops one year, really like the way they look). So they just went into storage for the moment.

  2. I bought the North Pole Bundle again this year. I have a dozen reindeer now. I put everything else in storage(item limits). I wish we could buy more. Maybe next year I can increase the herd.

  3. I was in it for the reindeer!👍👍👍

  4. With the Christmas Market, the Ferris Wheel alone that comes with the deal is worth 120 donuts by itself! You’re already getting a nice bargain with that item not including the holiday trees and everything else it comes with too.

  5. Since you can only buy one of each of them I decided to buy all three. I stuck them them in storage waiting for a time when the item limit and land are increased. It is good to have extra items when needed.

  6. Holiday Bundles 👍🏻

These are nice if you’re a Noob who missed out on everything, or a Long Time Tapper who wants more in your Xmas Land – you can’t go wrong with the extra Bonus % (but you will get frustrated by Item Limits – aka an easy patch download fix EA!) 🙄

  7. Thank you for posting this! Those bundles had me very curious.

I was clicking around the Yearbook, looking for more Christmas stuff, when I came across both the “Holiday Tree” and “Santa’s Workshop.” I owe neither but both would look great in a “Christmas” area of my Springfield. I didn’t bite the bullet on going for them and now I’m glad I didn’t! That “Christmas Market” bundle looks like the best option to me now, even though it’s full of Squidport stuff I already own. At the very least, I’m getting those holiday decorations for cheaper than in the Yearbook.

  8. Thanks so much for this! I picked up all three and didn’t want to store anything with a bonus. Now I can start decorating.

  9. I have bought all this stuff before. I am looking for something “new”!
Would love buildings that have a Christmas theme. Not just repeats of what was already put out there other years.
