Black History Month Act 3 Is Live!

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Sorry about the late post of this one, weekends can be unpredictable around here!

It’s officially after 10am here on the East Coast, and that means Act 3 of the Black History Event is live in Springfield!

Things kick off for Act 3 with some dialogue between Ralph, Lou, and Wiggum…

Ralph: Uncle Lou the cop, will you tell me a story for my school report? You’re my favorite policeman ever!
Wiggum: What about me, Ralph?
Ralph: You’re not even my favorite Daddy ever. That’s Babar!
Wiggum:
Lou: How about I tell you the story of my toughest case? The disappearance of Lewis Clark.
Wiggum: Ooh, I never heard this one!
Lou: *sighs* You were there, Chief.

This triggers the Act 3 questline, In the Lukewarm of the Twilight, and is followed by 4hr task for Wiggum, as well as a task to collect Act 3 Currency (400).  In the Lukewarm of the Twilight is the questline that will take you through unlocking all of the Act 3 prizes.

Let’s take a look at what else is in store during Act 3…

Black History Month Act 3 Starts Tomorrow

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

There seems to be some confusion with dates, so…

Just a friendly reminder that tomorrow morning, Sunday, February 23rd, Act 3 of the Black History Month Event will be starting (NOTE the Sunday start).  The official start time is 10am ET.

The Act 2 questline (nor will the Act 1) won’t be going anywhere, so if you haven’t finished the prizes you’ll have a chance to complete it even after Act 3 starts.

Also, here’s some inside info to help you prepare for Act 3 to start…

During Act 3 it’ll be Lou’s turn to tell his story…his heroic tale!  Of course, you’ll have to follow along with the dialogue to find out what happens, but the same characters used for Act 1 and Act 2 currency tasks should be used for the Act 3 including the premium characters.  So we’re looking at:
Homer
Lisa
Bart
Grampa
Marge
Moe
Quimby
Carl
Lou
Bernice Hibbert
Dr. Hibbert
Hibbert’s Dad
Stogie
New Premium character for Act 3

You’ll also need Wiggum free for the initial questline objective…

There will also be one new premium character combo introduced during Act 3, and that character will be able to help with the currency earning for Act 3.  (150 donuts will be needed if you’d like to purchase the combo)

And that’s it my friends!  Be prepared for Act 3 to start up tomorrow morning!

Thoughts on Act 2?  Ready for Act 3?  Excited to see where the story goes?  Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!

Black History Month Prize Guide: Act 2, Prize 5 Abraham Simpson I

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

It’s update time in Springfield!  And after 8 years of TSTO, we’re finally tackling Black History Month!  No time like the present for EA, huh?   What’s in store for us this time?  Well, we’re tasked with finding out the history of Dr. Hibbert, Carl, Lou, and the Simpson Family!  Loads of dialogue with this one, so be sure to read along to see what happens! And of course, I’ll be posting it as each week wraps up.

Black History Month (Heroes of Springfield) follows the same event structure of the Multi-Events before it.  This event consists of 4 parts (or Acts), with each part lasting a week and taking us through a new part of the event!

For Act 2 we’re tasked with collecting hard hats!  Each part of the story will unlock another prize themed for the second part of the story, Carl’s history with his Dad!

So let’s take a look at final Act 2 prize, Abraham Simpson I…

Note: Act 2 has a funky end date for the site, it ends on Sunday the 23rd. So I’m posting the prize details for Abraham a bit earlier than I usually would.  Don’t stress if you haven’t unlocked him yet…you still have a lot of time.  Just trying to make my life a little easier 🙂
