So it seems with the last patch EA updated the start dates for a the Acts. So the new start dates are:
December 18th
December 27th
January 5th
And the end date still remains January 13th
What’s funny is they updated the start dates for each Act, but not the premium content start dates. So Baby Jesus hit our games at 9am (ET) this morning, as he was originally supposed to. And the remaining premium items are still slated for the original Act start dates of the 26th and 4th. So 🤷♀️
Note the original Act dates weren’t just from the files. Those original start dates were on the packet of information EA sent us directly. Not sure what’s going on, or if it’ll change. Very odd on EA’s part.
Anyway, Act 2 will start tomorrow at 9am ET (unless EA changes something again). I’ll update the event page to reflect the new dates…

Have to say that little glitch with the burning bushes, meant I could afford the baby J, also with it coming out a day earlier have got those baby J tasks out the way.

Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere (I did look a lot I promise). I got the greyhound sleigh with the tokens but even when Marge and Maggie are available the riding the sleigh option is greyed out and says something about a wraparound ring required? Any ideas?
Hey everyone I have a question. Every morning the game needs to download again the content as if I was downloading the game for the first time. I checked my storage and I have more than 5 GB on my iPad. Can someone help me please? Thank you and have a good day. 🙂

Smart marketing. EA knows we want the new update Now Now Now making it more likely we spend donuts on the Premium item to tide us over another day.

True. Today’s update changed the Premium dates back to the same as when the next two Acts begin.
I may have missed it in previous posts, but for the first few days I had access to buy Burning Bush for $500/piece, a few days there was a patch that took it out of the seasonal decorations.
Did anyone else get this popping up in the game?
Should we be expecting more crazy deals like this popping up? (I have been obsessively logging in to check & get excited by every patch)
One last question: will Golden Goose Realty be available over the holidays?

It was an error from EA that’s been corrected. Gotta take advantage of their mistakes as soon as they pop up

There was a similar glitch last year, I think with the wailing wall thingy.
I clicked onto it too late, and felt a tinsy bit of regret.
That’s why you need to read TSTO addicts daily… first thing, as soon as you open your eyes.. otherwise you’ll likely miss the giveaways.

Thanks for letting everyone know Alissa. I’m glad the acts this year don’t start on Christmas Day and New Years Day like they did last year.
What ? You can’t count ? Last wednesday started whole event, it normally takes 9 days for each act, which mean act 2 starting at friday, as normal. But allow premium character now is indeed weird.

I have a weird issue. In the past week I have a task pop up for kang. “Make kang make cheap toys”. I am unable to complete this task because the building necessary and the task is from tapped out Xmas event 2017. Anyone else?

I wa ted to let everybody know that I actually just got another Patch Update when I just went back into my game to play it. This now makes it a 3rd patch update. My question is with this being another new patch update, Will the dates of when the new acts start be pushed back again or Will the start of new acts still be on December 18th, December 27th & January 5th? 😀

This latest patch brought back the option to purchase Mystery Box Tokens for donuts, at least for me. I’d been missing that ever since I closed out the Winter Wonderland Box. Thanks EA!
THIS is baby Jesus??? But he looks like a blond baby girl! Where is his beard??? This is baby Archie Angelica to me since the splashscreen came out. I am pleased getting another girly character in the game. Is she voiced? <3

Well the dialogue does say he goes by Josh, so he may be a more a more Anglicized version of Jesus. And Leviticus says not to round the hair near the temples, so there ya go….

Thanks for letting us know. I thought that was a weird thing. Nonetheless it did give us the opportunity to finish off tasks from premium items I got during Black Friday. And I get a jump start on completing my “Olde Springfield” section of town with another Victorian house
Well that’ll teach me to check here before trying to solve potential issues by deleting and then re-downloading the game.
I’m not seeing this baby jesus character. Do you need to have some other character available to trigger the quest? All my lot are on 24 hour tasks…

Not able to log in. 🤨 ugh.
All of my characters are still stuck in Krusty Burger from a quest several months ago. I collect xp and bucks every time I click on it, but then they all go right back in and I can’t seem to get them out, nor onto a new task. I even signed out and back in, but to no avail. VERY frustrated!! Anyone with any suggestions?

I have also experienced that matters several months ago. I was happy since I can reach level 939 by accumulating enough money to collect donuts by buying a lot of rat traps or by farming the Apu’s stores. However, it was ended after I have accidentally executed a certain assigned task for one character.
Maybe stick the Krusty Burger into your inventory?
I’ve had this same thing with different tasks from time to time. Try putting Krusty Burger in storage then place it again.
Had a similar glitch a long time ago, I put the house in storage and the characters where released. Then I just took the house out again.
Sell it?
Hey Debbie, I’ve discovered & learned how to fix that glitch/problem. What you do is, you store the Krusty Burger into your Inventory that your characters are stuck in. Once you store the Krusty Burger & then you put the Krusty Burger back out of your Inventory, those characters that were stuck should be free. That should solve your problem with the characters being stuck in the Krusty Burger.
Also one other word of advice to you is that the reason why your characters were stuck in the Krusty Burger is because you had to many characters doing the same task/quest there. Usually if you have too many characters at once inside a building then that glitch will occur where the characters will be stuck like that. So if you can when it comes to characters doing jobs inside buildings, just do the max requirement that says for you to do with the number of characters they want you to use. That should help you with your characters not getting stuck.
But if this problem happens again where the characters are stuck inside a building, then all you have to do is store the building in your Inventory that they’re stuck in & it should free your characters. I hope that helps you out, Debbie!!!! 😀

I love it when I can get that glitch to pop up — I rack up cash and doughnuts like crazy until I have to store the building and unstick them because I need a character for something else.
It feels weird to be doing the new premium’s questions before the act, instead of after. But I had assumed the new act was going to start tomorrow (based on Patrick’s calendar), so it was more of a nice surprise to have something new to do today, although it did make me wonder what was going on! (I saw baby Jesus because of today’s daily task to make the kids go searching for presents.) At any rate, it’s all good! 🙂
And in the end…”It’s all good” is what it’s all about…right?

I wrote down the dates from the original calendar post. It said 12/18.
The game logged me out, and it won’t let me log in. Ugh! I know 100 percent that I put in my correct user address and log on.
happens to me sometimes. force stop the app and clear your cache. that usually does it for me.
I guess I’ll go start Baby Jesus’ quests. Thank you for the update!
Ah well, more time to collect bonuses and finish up chores. I thought my game acted up, while normally I am in Europe but just now in KS.
My phone has difficulty accepting I have 7hrs time difference…..
Weird. At least we know now.
At least I know I can work on tickets in the downtime today instead of waiting to send anyone on a task for fear of not having them for Act 2.

It would appear that my calendar prognosticate the EA blunder…or their communication. I just divided it up to nine day acts…tuns out, I was correct, even though I thought I was wrong.

I am having a problem with the new update. It downloads and then I can go into the game .. come out and go in later on it wanting to download the new update that I have just downloaded. I bet this is the problem. I have downloaded this bloody update at least 12 times since yesterday!
You need to clear some space on your device. It is trying to load, but it has to search for space. Old pics…apps you don’t use…purge.

It’s very strange..
Even weirder opening up today sent my game back to where it was sometime during the Mulhouse event. Anything premium or otherwise I’d gotten in the months since then has disappeared, including all the burning bushes that had gotten my bonus up to 1500% and various characters from events and Black Friday mystery boxes. WTF EA?
Ugh. Rollback glitch. Contact EA.
