As we sit here frakkin files, pulling pics, and typing a million words a minute to get our readers the latest updates and information…we sometimes find ourselves forgetting to stop and enjoy our own games. More so our neighboreenos. So we try to make it a point to hop in n out of the towns now and then to see what cool things YOU are up to. So we have decided we want to continue to focus more attention (as if we don’t already 😛 ) on YOU…our readers. From time to time we will be peaking into your towns, checking our Flickr, and also the posts in the comments below to see what cool ideas and designs YOU have come up with to make your towns unique and…well…YOU.
So here is YOUR chance to show off all your hard work, time, donuts & in-game cash spent. Send us your work, no matter how big or small, and brag about it to the world. We want you to! Then keep your eyes posted to Addicts to see if YOU end up on our “SPRINGFIELD SHOWOFF”.
This time around I wanted to see what you’ve done with the Hell on Wheels stuff! With new and old buildings and decorations arriving with this event, show me how you fit them into your Springfield! It can always be a little intimidating and frustrating trying to figure out just where to put anything in Springfield…so who better to turn to than our fellow Addicts? And as always, some of you guys came through!

Quick daft question – IIRC you skipped some of this and didn’t collect it all but did you get the Shattered Dreams box show up ??
If so are you on an iOS or Android based device ??

I am having an issue were am not getting token’s for shattered dream token 🏴🇺🇦😜
I’ve received 2 via daily tasks…weeks ago..and the free one given when I finished the event. I’m sure they would like people to purchase the donut bundles that come with tokens….rather than provide them from daily tasks. Luckily I only needed 1 for a unique item, so I spent the 1.99$ I keep hoping for some tokens via daily challenges, because I do like some of the non-unique items, but I’m not expecting any more freebies. Is anyone out there getting tokens via daily challenges?? Let us know!
And of course….I check my town this morning…and I have a daily challenge for a token….lol. Go figure….

After getting just one during the event in a daily challenge (plus the free one we all got), I thought that was it, but I just got another daily challenge one yesterday (or the day before?)!
Playing on both iOS and Android. Once you finish the “Hell On Wheels” event. The Shattered Dreams Box then unlocks…
I did not see the Shattered Dreams Mystery Box show up in my menu, but I can still purchase 🍩’s and obtain the 🪙 for Shattered Dreams. 🤔

As far as anyone can tell it turns out you needed to collect all the prizes and do the end-of-event tasks so the “You’ve Completed the Event” Panel shows up in order to activate the Shattered Dreams box.
Perhaps the Mini-Event coming soon will be more to your liking and you’ll have all those Tokens still to use . . .
Android OS 12 / we’ll see what happens with EA for the rest of this year! 👍🏻

2: For players who didn’t get all event prizes, either by choice or ran out of time
Did the Box show up when the event timer ended ??
Do you have “Added time ” event tasks in your taskbook ??
If you did and finished them did the Box then appear ??
If the Box did appear despite not finishing the event are you on iOS or Android / Kindle ??
This is all new so we’re trying to figure why the Box might not show up for some players. Thanks
In one of my alt games I never started the event…i went in today, and the box did not show up.

From that and some posts elsewhere as far as I can figure if you don’t get everything finished and see the Event Complete panel you won’t get the Box in your game.
Of course that may be a glitch or it might change but this is all new and there’s still things to learn . . .
