Staking a Claim part 1:

Lord Montgomery: *shudders* What is that foul smell?
Homer: Sorry. I’m microwaving my socks and underwear. Feels great on cold days!
Lord Montgomery: Micro…what?
Homer: Oh, are you one of those characters from another time period?
Lord Montgomery: I’m not sure. All I know is that I am rich and above the fray of the common man. What is this place?
Homer: It’s the Lard Lad donut shop — a place where commoners congregate for donuts that commoners love.
Lord Montgomery: I see. So if I were to procure these “donuts”, commoners would do anything I asked?
Homer: Without question.
Lord Montgomery: *tastes donut* Jelly-filled? …Glorious!

• Make Lord Montgomery Procure Donuts – 4 hours
• Make Homer Follow Lord Montgomery – 4 hours

Reward: 100 $$s, 10 XP

Staking a Claim part 2:

Homer: *eating donuts* So how can I help?
Lord Montgomery: You can start by not chewing with your mouth open.
Homer: That’s gonna be a toughie.
Lord Montgomery: At any rate…despite how repulsive this kingdom is, I’ve decided to claim it. Now start putting up these bills for me.
Homer: “Mine”! “Mine”! “Mine-Mine-Mine”! You know, putting up signs that say “Mine” won’t make it yours.
Lord Montgomery: I’ve never heard such poppycock! What kind of monarchy is this?
Homer: What’s a monarchy?
Lord Montgomery: *groans* It’s good to see education isn’t valued in this kingdom. Ruling idiots is so much easier. Now put up those signs.

• Make Lord Montgomery Claim Everything – 4 hours
• Make Homer Help Lord Montgomery – 4 hours

Lord Montgomery: Citizens are not respecting my “Mine” signs!
Homer: Flanders tried putting signs on his stuff too, but jerks still take it. *whispers* The jerk is me.
Lord Montgomery: Then how do your wealthy lay claim over their land?
Homer: We use real estate agents who take 6% for having an open house where they bake chocolate chip cookies and get young couples over-their-heads in debt.
Lord Montgomery: Then I’ll need one of these real estate agents.
Homer: And I call first dibs on the cookies!

Reward: 100 $$s, 10 XP

Staking a Claim part 3:

Lord Montgomery: I’m looking for something called a “real estate agent”.
Cookie Kwan: I’m one of those. How can I help?
Lord Montgomery: I would like to claim this Springfield kingdom for myself.
Cookie Kwan: “Kingdom?” It sounds like you want to buy the entire town, but I’m afraid that’s not possible—
Lord Montgomery: I’m sorry. Before you answer, would you mind terribly if I took a quick bath?
Cookie Kwan: I’ve heard of my clients taking a bath on the money pits I sell them but not this!

• Make Lord Montgomery Take a Gold Bath – 4 hours
• Make Cookie Kwan Be Shocked – 4 hours

Cookie Kwan: You take your baths in gold and jewels?
Lord Montgomery: It’s luxurious…as long as the coins and jewels don’t get lost amongst my naughty parts.
Cookie Kwan: Someday I’d like to try that!
Lord Montgomery: You’ve never filled your castle with rubies and diamonds and swam through them? Perhaps if you help me, I could make that happen for you.
Cookie Kwan: I think we might be able to work something out.

  1. I’m not sure how to do this, but I’ll research it and give it a try. Thanks for the suggestion!

    • Check storage and sort that first if there’s anything that can be moved to SD or uninstalled / deleted / moved to the cloud if you need room.
Once there’s space find the app in settings and see if it has a Move to . . . to get it off the SD card and if not uninstall and re-install.
If your device tries to put it on the SD card again remove it while you re-install so it has to use system storage.

  2. I got it and love the castle and dragon! Want to try to build like the splash screen so excited for the Springfieldia gate and walls I get in 195 Potions 😀

  3. I bought it as its a premium character that helps with events but how many castles and burns do we need, I have at least 5 versions and loads of castles

  4. I really liked this character that I bought it. I liked the his outfit.

  5. My current policy is to buy all the premium characters that help with events. I love getting through them faster!

Side question…. I have a scenario that pops up intermittently, and it’s more likely to happen during events. I get the dreaded Bart screen repeatedly and cannot make it stop until I do a restart on my phone. (I play TSTO on an Android device: A Samsung Galaxy S9.) Upon restarting and opening TSTO, I get the game entering its “downloading updates” mode and taking 10 years downloading 992 updates.

I have seen this question asked and answered in the context of this happening EVERY TIME the user starts the game. The explanation I see is that there is not enough space on the device for the game, so it has to keep overwriting. But as I noted above, this doesn’t happen every time. (Though once it does, it might happen again in “clusters,” the next couple-few days.) I actually have the game on its own dedicated SD card, so I don’t think the game likely needs more space than it has. And if it does need more space than a whole-ass SD card, that’s some crazy!

Anyone know of explanations other than “the device needs all the space; delete everything else in the entire world to make room for it”?

    • verymir, maybe the problem is that it needs space in the internal memory (not SD, external) to do its business. Have you tried deleting your cache on your S9?

    • It’s on an SD card – that’s why.
It needs to be in system memory

  6. Thank’s for the rundown. ^^
