If you haven’t finished the prize track try and at least start part 5. I believe when the timer runs out you’ll see the message “Springfield’s Got Talent? is over! But don’t worry! You can still finish your current quest and earn its reward.”

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons or current Tapped Out event) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

If you’ve been zapping through your tapping or just want a reminder on what the writers got up to for this mini event you’re in luck. Here’s a post with all the dialog and tasks just for you.

All of you who’ve been tapping away happily will probably already have all these. For those who want a reminder or haven’t got there yet, or for future readers who find these things have come back as returning items, here’s a look at the first four prizes from this mini event. The fifth and final prize is Manager Nigel, and as a character with a questline and tasks I’ll get to that in a separate Walkthrough post.

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
It’s that time…calling all Addict Designers! We’re getting ready to do the next Springfield Showoff, and this time around I want to see what you’ve done with the Springfield’s Got Talent mini-event stuff! With new and old buildings and decorations arriving with this event, show me how you fit them into your Springfield! So prep those towns…because we want to see what you’ve done with your Springfield!
As always please remember to limit it to 1-2 of your favorite areas/photos…we can’t show your whole town unless you want to send in your entire town via town portrait.
So use this time to polish up your town and show us how creative you can be! Send in your event inspired designs (by 8 pm ET Tuesday, January 31st) and we’ll be putting up the Showoff post featuring your designs on Wednesday, February 1st.
Remember, your designs can be anything and everything from Springfield’s Got Talent new and old, and how you worked it into your Springfield
So grab some screenshots of your town, or finish up those designs…just make sure to send your submissions in by about 8 pm ET Tuesday, January 31st can’t wait to see what YOU have come up with.
You can send your designs in two ways…either post a link to the image in the comments on this post or you can email them to us at TSTOAddictsblog@gmail.com. We won’t be pulling images from anywhere else, so please if you want to be featured either submit in the comments below or email your images to us.
Note: PLEASE try to limit your submissions to only 1-2 of your favorite screenshots. We like to try and let everyone showoff their town but it becomes difficult when some of you are sending in 7-10 images. Pick your favorite areas and send them in (or if you stitch photos together, that works too). We’ll try our best to get EVERYONE in, but please understand that sometimes we miss a photo or two. If we miss you one week, we’ll try really hard to make sure we get you in the next week. You’re always welcome to showoff your town, at any time, on our Flickr page. We know a lot of you have awesome towns that you want to show off, but please try to stick with this week’s theme. Remember, this isn’t a contest. There’s nothing to win. It’s just a fun way to showoff your town and get some design inspiration from your fellow Addicts. 🙂
