What EA said:
The tomacco epidemic in Springfield expands as Fat Tony and Homer rake in the cash. Things get so bad that Wiggum is forced to “investigate,” which really irritates him as he thought he didn’t actually have to do anything anymore and could just hang out at his favorite coffee and donuts place. Wiggum’s short-lived investigation doesn’t produce any results, and his investigation is quickly taken over by go-get-‘em special investigator, Lenora Carter. Surprisingly, Lenora Carter isn’t able to track down the culprits either, until Wiggum accidentally walks in on Homer and Fat Tony criming and realizes who the Cropfather is. Before he can arrest them, an argument breaks out between law enforcement agencies about who gets to bust them, and Fat Tony and Homer escape in the confusion. While the police commiserate about their inability to stop the tomacco epidemic, a dark, mysterious, and scary figure emerges in Springfield: the violent debt collector, Costas Becker!

Why’s Gil’s deal say cost 150 but when go to but it says you sure want to spend 200 donuts
It’s a behind-the-scenes mix up, but it only takes the 150 Ds it first says.
Snitchy the Weasel is marked as 150 Ds like the offer says but the Elegant Scoundrel is incorrectly marked as 200 Ds.
I had Confirm Spend off for my C town, and wasn’t paying attention, but checking in my B town saw what you meant and checked it only took the 150 Ds it is supposed to.
^^ it’s still 150 Ds if you cancel and buy it later too, just double-checked that
