It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons or current Tapped Out event) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

Simpsons is back tonight. Did you catch the latest episode 17 reminder? What did you think of the last episode? Also, as mentioned 16 weeks ago, season 35 is finally under way in the UK. Did you catch the start of season 35 if you live in the UK?
The new act of the major event Simpsanos started Tuesday. Did you catch Graham’s Rundown? How are you progressing so far? Ready for the event to end this week?

When do you max out of money and doughts? What happens than?
It’s just under $4.3 billion then it stops adding cash and you’ll only get the XP until you spend some.
( 2^32 – limit for the Number datatype on a database )
You won’t ever max out Donuts playing honestly. I am 99% sure I have the highest Donut count for an honest player, which took 3 years of hard grinding, and it’s nowhere near the limit.
At 1,000 Donuts a day it’d take over 11,800 years !!
Has anyone on here tried to build their town as close to what ppl think is the show’s map as possible? If so, what are you using as a template/guide, also, if so, wanna add me? (Sorry I know there’s a thread for that but there’s a reason!) James_benn178 🙂

I have the same problem too
Logged in today and my job manager no longer works. If I try to use it, my game freezes completely and eventually crashes. I can still send characters to do jobs individually, but I’m not doing that 600+ times. Anyone else having this issue?
No. I rarely send anyone on a job anymore since I maxed $ and have so many donuts, but for whatever reason sent everyone on a 12-hour job today. I didn’t have a problem.

One game had 3 unique items and it allowed me to get 2. Large ribbon and gate.
Well, this sucks…I just hit the hard item limit. The only way I’m gonna be able to get back under that without messing up my designs will be to store hidden bonus-multiplier-earning items. 🙁. Given that my designs aren’t that expensive for someone who’s been playing for 10 years (I still have a bunch of unused land tiles!), it seems like they ought to figure out how to manage their code to allow for a higher item limit without crashing weaker devices, or at least allow it for devices that *can* handle it.
(I do recognize, though, that even someone with a more powerful device could have TSTO neighbors with less powerful devices who might come to visit and would crash. But, given how little neighbor visits play into this game these days, I’m not sure this should be a gating factor…)
