If you’ve been zapping through your tapping and it’s all been a bit of a blur or if you just fancied a reminder of what the writers got up to this time you’re in luck.
Here’s all the dialog and tasks for this act …
PS – A reminder that act 4 starts tomorrow
In this post it’s just the Act 3 Prize Track –
• The Blaze of Wrath parts 1 to 5
The Blaze of Wrath part 1:
● Desert Public Phone (Decoration)

Lisa: There it is: the Blazing Guy Festival! How exciting!
Marge: Look! A public pay phone! How exciting!
Bart: Whoa! I’m seeing things even I don’t think I should be seeing.
Marge: Homer! Keep the kids from seeing anything inappropriate while I use the phone.
Homer: How am I supposed to do that?
Bart: You could stay right where you are, fat man. It’s like a total eclipse of your son.
Homer: Why you little—!
Marge: Excuse me, are you using the phone?
Hippie: Phone? Oh wow, man, I thought it was a porta-potty. Here, maybe you can get it to flush. *hands Marge the disconnected receiver*
Marge: *annoyed grumble*

Bart: How should I know? You’re still blocking my view.
Lisa: I think it is him, Dad. And two of his leg breakers.
Louie: Sorry, little girl. Legs is the leg man. I’m more of an ear, nose, and throat specialist.
Homer: Uh… good to know. But what are you guys doing at Blazing Guy?
Uncle Zio: They’re here with me. Coming here was a lifelong dream of mine! Music… spiritual freedom… crunchy chicks on bikes.
Bart: Where?
Homer: Bart! Get back behind my enormous bulk!
The Blaze of Wrath part 2:
● Desert Tents (2 Decorations)

Marge: How are we ever going to get home?
Otto: Relax, funky mama. I can give you all a ride home after the festival ends.
Marge: When is that?
Otto: After they set the Blazing Guy on fire tonight!
Homer: Great. In the meantime, everyone, split up and have fun!
Marge: What?! But what about the kids?!
Homer: Lisa is responsible, Bart’s already wandered off with a motorcycle gang, and I think we left Maggie at that weird art garden. Besides, I smell barbecue!

Marge: I suppose… Where is your father?
Bart: I think I saw him floating away on some pie fumes. Although that might have been a hallucination caused by some other fumes.
Homer: Hey, Cletus. Can I try your barbecued desert varmint?!
Cletus: Leg or wing?
Homer: I don’t care.
Cletus: No, I’m asking — do you think this piece is a leg or a wing?
The Blaze of Wrath part 3:
● Blazing Guy Attendees (Crowd Decoration)

Bart: I’m so tired. I can’t wait to go home after they set the wicker dude on fire.
Lisa: Me, too. What a day.
Homer: So full of barbecued varmint! Just want to sleep.
Marge: Oh, so NOW you all want to go home.
Calypso Self Knowledge: *loudspeaker* Hey, everybody! Thanks for another great Blazing Guy Festival. And now it’s time for the grand finale! The lighting of Blazing Guy!
Otto: WOOHOO!
Homer: WOOHOO!
Marge: Woo hoo.
Calypso Self Knowledge: What’s the deal with the Blazing Guy? It’s like…the wood is alive!
Lisa: The wood’s not alive! It’s covered in desert chameleons!
Calypso Self Knowledge: Agh! And so am I!

Hippie: Gimme a break, kid. The whole point of chameleons is that they blend in.
Calypso Self Knowledge: I dropped the torch in that bucket of herbal tea!
Marge: Oh, dear Lord! We’re never getting home!
Lisa: How are they going to set the Blazing Guy on fire now?
Homer: They could use your Mom. She’s acting like her hair’s on fire.
Lisa: Dad!
Homer: It’s a figure of speech. Or is it?
The Blaze of Wrath part 4:
● Deluxe Desert Tent (Building)

Bart: Dad, Mom is losing it.
Homer: Okay, Homer, this is it. Hero time!
Homer: I know what to do. *grabs vat of super-hot grease from Cletus’ barbecue stall*
Lisa: Dad, what are you doing? DON’T!
Homer: Don’t worry! I’ll get these chameleons off the wooden guy!

Hippie: Yeah! Blaze, Blazing Guy, Blaze!
Homer: Hooray for Homer!
Lisa: Wow, that is a lot of smoke.
Calypso Self Knowledge: It smells like burning roadkill! Gross!
Homer: Okay, not ideal, but let’s stay focused on the important thing: the Blazing Guy is blazing and everything is fine.
Marge: Is it my imagination or is the smoke making the clouds overhead really dark?
Homer: Fine. Totally fine.
The Blaze of Wrath part 5:
● Blazing Guy (Building)

Uncle Zio: I’m conflicted! The Blazing Guy is blazing very pretty, but the smoke, she is very stinky.
Legs: You want I should break Homer’s legs?
Louie: Did I just feel a raindrop?
Calypso Self Knowledge: It hasn’t rained in this area of the desert in over seventy years.
Lisa: The smoke from the barbecue grease must have seeded the clouds.
Homer: *catches a drop of rain on his tongue* Mmm, barbecued varmint grease rain.

Calypso Self Knowledge: Rain?! I hate the rain!
Bart: It was like twelve drops. And Homer swallowed half of them.
Lisa: It’s still the most rain this desert has ever gotten!
Homer: So what?
Lisa: So now the ground has turned to mud.
Uncle Zio: Idiota! Our car is stuck!
Otto: And my bus is stuck! Sorry Simpsons, no ride home from me.
Calypso Self Knowledge: All of our cars are stuck — and it’s all Homer Simpson’s fault!
Homer: Um…oops?
That wraps up Act 3.
There’s a one-week 4th July Promo which started today, I’ll get to that tomorrow and then be back when it’s time for Act 4.

Something weird is happening with with the July 4th Promo. I bought the Thomas Jefferson combo without any problem.
I successfully bought 1 Fireworks Control Panel. I stored it immediately. I later tried to retrieve it from decorations storage but couldn’t find it anywhere. I decided to buy a second one to put on display so I went to the game store to buy a 2nd one – now it is missing from the Promos. I have logged out and logged back in. The Fireworks Control Panel is still missing from the store and the one I bought for 35,000 in-game cash is missing from storage. What the heck?!
Is anyone else having problems with this?
It’s unique.
Check the All-items bit of your Inventory, not the Deccies section.
Not got it yet but just finished the post so I’ll chuck that up to publish as soon as it’s uploaded and proof-read and then go try in my game
( note to self – tweak the sign-off !! )
Here’s what I found:
You can’t store it as you buy it, it’s either placed or cancelled.
If you place it and then store it it will show up in the all-items and in the main Decorations bits.
I had to scroll past a few things in the all-items bit and it’s only in the all-decorations tab
Since I’ve been farming planet statues I decided to give KEM farming a go. Earned 75 donuts in 24 hours. And also am a bit broke. Lol.
Seems I can earn that many every other day. And of course the more I earn the more I will earn.
Very cool idea.
Thanks again to this community for all the helpful info.
Spend some money on extra houses for more income.
When you tap first time tomorrow write down the money in the bank.
4 hours later finish tapping and work out what you earned in that time.
Do that again once in a while as your bonus and town grows.
Sell all the KEMs you have except the first – can’t sell that, it unlocked Apu
Only build as many KEMs as you can afford with that figure you worked out as just earned.
Leave anything extra earned through the day, as other buildings come ready and longer tasks complete, to build up as a backup or if you want / need to buy things that aren’t KEMs.
Keep on bonus building, as that goes up so does the speed you earn and how many Ds you can get from farming.
All 3 of my towns now have billons banked and a big enough bonus, so if I’m in the mood I can generate 1,500 Ds in a solid hour of hard grinding !!
When I first learned about farming..and this site..I preferred to farm the rat trap trucks..seemed easier…after getting myself to a mere 3000 donuts..it wasn’t fun anymore …I felt like a grinch, or a thief, or whatever else people become after playing in their black mirrors day after day…so this time..I truly do… bid adieu…
You need to have built up a pretty good town, a pretty good bonus and a pretty good bank before truck farming becomes a good option, and you don’t have to farm that way if you don’t want to.
Even my newest town will make over 100 donuts a day with no real effort, and I’m even thinking about scaling that back storing a load of those Mirror Houses and at least all the Springfield Heights buildings if not some of the for-donuts bonus items.
There is no wrong way to play – as long as you got the app from a genuine app store and aren’t cheating.
If it’s not fun right now maybe take a break, but never say never.
Thanks Graham! I actually just put a bunch of stored houses back out of storage! I am wary of getting below 200K or so, out of habit, but I managed to put out about 100 KEMs and still have 200K left over.
I’m trying 60 at a time today to see where that lands me. 🙂
I’m currently at about 700% bonus, which is growing daily with the Planet Sculptures!
Thanks again for the helpful answers!!
When you make the fourth of July post, make sure to mention that all the cash decorations give a decent amount of XP. Also, did you notice how long it takes for the blazing guy attendees to change appearances? Is it only happening on my device?
I thought it was my device lagging when I tapped on the Crowd, did seem to be a bit slow to react.
Got a lot to get through for that post, and the Rundown to get ready for tomorrow, and it’s already 10 pm here, so I may not be able to research it all – sorry
For stuff like XP when placed I’d need to root through to find the files from the event that introduced them and go through a whole heap of code to dig out the info.
