For a couple of reasons I’m adding a quick extra post on those shiny new items in store for this event.
The event is a week longer than usual.
It ends this Wednesday, July 17th, at 15:00 UTC
15:00 UTC is UK 4 pm BST or US 11 am EDT
Some of these items are in the Permanent Store while others are the usual Limited Time. If you want any of these I figured knowing what’s urgent and what you can do whenever you wanted would be good to know, as well as a reminder on the end-date.

At last, the post on those Chameleons.
If you read the Dialog Recap you’ll have seen that once the Outro tasks are completed it cleans up the tappable Chameleons and unlocks the set of 3 in store for you.
These are NPCs, meaning they do not have a task list when you tap on them, they can’t be sent on jobs with the Unemployment Office and will not show up in the Census at the Town Hall.
They are in a couple of groups though, so you may be able to use them on some group-send jobs.
They can also Get Judged if you have the Springfield Pet Fair Stage from the Dog Days event and if you have the Airport from the Around the World event they can be sent on flights.
Thanks to Sandra Shill for a heads-up on the Airport jobs
You can use those jobs lists to check you have ’em, and if you send ’em on one of those tasks you’ll know where they are for a little while at least.
There is no questline for these, not even a Tap-it task.
They have their own animations, that are not the same as the tappables you’ve been hunting, and a sound clip each that I’ll cover next.

No, you’re not going mad. Usually this is the last post for an act, but with so many of you asking about those Chameleons it makes sense to do this now – you’ll see why soon.
I’ll do the post I planned on those Chameleons tomorrow. I had meant to do it before the weekend, but didn’t unlock ’em until just after midnight on Friday – at which point they scattered and it took until the early hours of today to hunt them all down and check the animations.
