Anyone having a problem with the Live In Fear task? I tap it, everyone leaves the Simpson house, then marches right back in. Close the game, reopen, repeat. I am stuck there.
Normal fix is to store the thing where the task is at, but you can’t store Homer’s house.
Work out what the job is and who’s doing it and then store the item that unlocked one of those characters.
A few possibilities to help …
Skinner – store the school
Wiggum – store the police station
Quimby – store the town hall
Lou and Eddie – store the swat van
Ned Flanders – store flander’s house
Remember to put the stored item back then reload your town and check it worked, you’ll need to collect again
love the returning content and the river stream. is this a 2024 EA TSTO resurgence? seems so.
It depends on the next event. Mini events were around when events were still very high quality. It’s likely EA just added one or two more people to the dev team.
In the “Wiki/Addicts” debate?..I’m team Addicts…haha…you guys/gals do a fabulous job
Wikisimpsons delivers news slightly faster, but addicts gives much, much more detail. Addicts all the way.
Team Addicts all the way…now and forever! 💜 (That said, I have consulted the wiki in some rare occasions, so I’m glad it’s out there, too. But, for community? Addicts, for sure!
Is there anyway to obtain the returning content Rachel Jordan and the praise land bundle if you sadly have the Snake tree already from the yearbook?
Does EA support deal with these issues?
It does not appear that I and others can unlock Rachel now because we appear to be blocked.

EA will remove the item from the bundle from your inventory, and then you can purchase it with donuts. (They won’t give you anything free)
Although I have already started it, I wasn’t able to finish the last quest of the “Summer Of Discontent” event, before the event ended due to real issues over the past few days. The quest is still active (or at least it was after the event ended), but when I last tried to play the game, the game wouldn’t let me continue playing without updating the game first. I haven’t yet updated the game, because I’m worried that the quest will disappear, if I download the update, so I don’t know what to do.
Can someone please advise me on what to do regarding what I said in my previous post?
You will be able to complete the tasks / prize you’d reached so if you’d got to part 5 you’ll finish but if you got to part 4 then you won’t get part 5 now the event has ended.
That applies even if you try and play without updating, it’s on a timer
What about the Canadian pitch? It better be bigger than the US pitch.
Sprinkles (the orange dog) seems to have disappeared from my town. I’ve looked three separate times today thoroughly (using the hide function for all but characters which is how I normally track him down) and he just seems to be gone. Is this due to the update? Last I saw him was yesterday pre-update.
NPCs could wander anywhere, so it’s possible as you checked one bit and moved on it was where you’d already looked.
They’re sneaky like that
If you have the Springfield Pet Fair Stage, you can select him to do a four hour task there and then it is easy to find him.
Anyone else noticed they made the tasks need more currency with this one to counter the longer event time?
Finally with this update my game no longer makes loud tweeting, chirping and crackling noises whilst it is loading up.
Excuse me, do you not have volume adjust on your device?
Some enjoy sound effects…
You misunderstand…. A little while back, for some weird reason, instead of just playing the fun sound effects at the normal volume, they became extra loud during the load up screen, and then would reset to normal volume once the game was ready to play. You really shouldn’t be so snarky to someone like that, especially when it turns out that you’re the one who didn’t understand what was happening. TBH, the extra loud sound effects on start-up (which perhaps are greater if your initial landing zone is an area with Cletus’ farm, like mine is) was annoying me, too…yes, I could just turn down the volume on my device during the start-up, but then I’d just need to turn it up again once the game finished loading.

Is the Catfish Lake a new item? I can’t find it in my Springfield and I have most everything.
No, it’s not new. Make sure to go through your inventory (don’t go into any categories, just the main storage), and after that check around areas that you could have placed it.
Do you guys think the Go-kart track will appear in this events shattered dream box? The demolition derby is in the store and other items seem to be in the same theme.
This events box will be gaming themed. You can see which box it will be at the wikiSimpsons page for the event. The gaming box does not have the go-kart track.

Yes there are other sites out there with info that doesn’t give the detail we do post by carefully crafted post in a way that makes sense.
To be fair, I was always an info-sponge, seeking all the knowledge I could get, but Addicts always had the best posts even after I got looped in with the multi-act event spoiler packs and access to some of the EA community team

If you don’t add that info, and if no-one else posts on AHQ, then the EA Community team cannot escalate it
I added to EA post. Perhaps the issue is Amazon does not permit advertising related perks in their supported apps?
I noticed today that with the new update – there is no donut cart / tray in my purchase inventory – so it’s not just for special events. I notified the EA help team.

Was going to design a camping area from items from the last event, got a prime spot to do it now, think I will leave out the larping and sports items
