Well, Level 44 has dropped in our little tapping devices and comes right in the middle of the Clash of Clones Event! And with it comes a Springfield’s most missed “hangout” place, Honest John’s, and it’s least missed character, Database.
So now that there’s a new Level in our tapping devices, you know what that means right? Time for another Turbo Tappin! So with that let’s jump right in and Turbo Tap the Main Questline (Freemium) of Level 44!
As we mentioned in the Level 44 rundown post the main questline is an Auto start with some conversation between Homer, Carl and an Elephant! Prompting you to build Honest John’s Computers, which will take 24hrs. So now….let’s get to Tappin’ shall we?!

Make Townspeople Hang Out at Honest John’s Computers- x10. Send 10 Springfield Residents to Hang Out at Honest John’s. 6hrs, Earns $225, 55xp Freemium and $225, 55xp Premium. Anyone in Springfield can do this.

If you run it from start to finish, without using donuts, it should take you just shy of 9 days to complete (8 days, 19hrs)!

Just started the 99 Luft-Word-Balloons Part 1 and sent almost every character to Tap Away Their Thoughts (a couple of characters had other quests to do and Cecil Terwilliger didn’t have this task available to him). I find it amusing that all the characters are in one Brown House as I have multiple Brown Houses in town. Tapping that task out tonight will be fun. 65 characters exiting one small house at once.
I also completed “seeking a friend for the end of this update pt.5” but it still stands on the task menu as “1/1 Done ! ” and nothing more I’m not able to continue database quests. I see that others also encountered this problem is there any solution ?
Nothing so far. All I can offer is the basics. Travel to Krustyland and a neighbors to see if it triggers it. Try clear cache/data, uninstall, reinstall, log back in. Store the buildings they came with and replace them to see if it helps.
Tried everything, placing in store, selling, buybg again, uninstall, cache clear, visiting KL, visiting neighbours and still nth … 🙁 i’ve advanced a lot and hope that ea giving me restore point back to the time the mission was completed isn’t the only way,

My game seems to be stuck at the end of luft-word-balloons pt.3
It says make Database meditate 1/1 done, but hasn’t cleared out after a few days and the next part hasn’t triggered. I thought at first it was because someone wasn’t given time to start it, but after reading the walkthrough it sounds like I just need Moe, though I have had Database, Moe, and Lisa deliberately idle for a few hours. The other thing is though even if the next quest wasn’t triggering because someone was busy that one should have already cleared off the list though right?
to add to that, I tried to contact origin and waited online for an hour and then was told I was in the wrong queue and they would get back to me via email. I’m just not sure if it’s really a tech-support issue or I’m overlooking something stupid… or how long they’ll take to get back to me… and I hate messing with my town right now as I don’t know what it takes to unstick it from their end if it is a glitch… am I going to lose progress?
Sorry if I am a bit ramblish… I do know you probably can’t help here, I’m just frustrated and wanted to get it out and nobody else I know would even understand half what I am going on about.
It means that you got basic support. You need tech support for this one. Usually they wont allow anyone to talk to them. Email only. Sorry.
Try bouncing in n out of krustyland and neighbors to see if it clears it and triggers next. If not, contact EA.
I’ve done all that and logged out and in and such. I pretty much figured that I need to email them, but couldn’t figure out any way to email them myself, so now I am waiting for them to email me back like the chat support guy said they would.
You can’t really “email” then unless they sent you a message from a direct rep. Most of the time it is the “no reply” one. Otherwise, you write a note, go back to the site where you initially contacted them, open the case, and attach the file with the note. That or start another case.
Im stuck on Seeking A Friend For the End Of This Update Pt. 5
What’s stuck about it? You can’t complete it? Is it literally stuck in your task bar? Is it not triggering? What’s stuck with it?
Ever since right before I leveled up to 44 I keep getting random quests such as make grandpa tell stories or make snake comb his hair. What is it?
It means something is coming usually. That or to keep yah busy. 🙂
I am stuck on bonsai vivant pt 2. its says done. I cannot proceede to bonsai vivant pt. 3 what is there that I have to do? I have Akira and completed all of his quests, and have 3 bonsai plants.
Did you make Database do the tasks though? Or just Akira?
I did the task, on my task bar bar it says: Make database Prune Bonsai 1/1 Done! but no progress it remains that way. I completed all of the Akira quests, and just replanting/pruning and potting bonsai plants.
He has to do the 3 steps to make one too. Hmmm. If you try to tap on the task itself and it does not work, try just sending Database to do the next part if it lets you. If not, you may need to try and store Honest Johns and pull him out of the game then put it back to see if it helps to trigger it.
If not, then EA
tried storing honest johns and the school, the quest remains in the task bar. replaced and did the quest again, completed it and still says 1/1 done and nothing after that.
Contact EA then.
Do You have to buy krustyland to kick off database? I was never interested in wasting my time with that part.
K-land is all level 43..you MUST at least complete part 1 of Level 43 in order to progress to Level 44. So yes, you’ll have to start Krustyland if you want to continue through the levels.
I’ve done the whole series. Why is his 8 hour task still locked? Ask it says is quest for the reason it is locked.
He had to get bullied by Nelson for it. Without Nelson, you can’t complete the task. Is Nelson on another task?
Ah, yeah, I’ll have to tuck and place Nelson so he’s after database.
I haven’t even started balloons pt1 yet. Will this effect my playing level 45?
Yes. You have to complete Part 1 of the Princess and the Pea Brain (Balloons, Wheel, Princess P) to start Level 44, and you have to build Honest John’s to start Level 45.
Princess is a distant memory. I’m about 2/3+ into Database’s quest and have begun Artie’s but didn’t know if I had to finish Database off first. I get held up. Whenever it lets me send all my Springfieldians off one the same quest I wait until everyone’s available. I love all those thumbs up and to watch everyone exit at the same time. Oh life’s simple pleasures
Oh THAT Balloon quest! Sorry, brain is in 5 different gears lol. No. Once you have Honest John’s built you’re good to go.

I have levelled up a few times and when there has been a new level i get it right away but now i have to level up again to get 44 ?
You get the level immediately provided you completed the XP bar prior to the level release i.e. got the chance for 3 free donuts. Level 44 was the first one in my B town where I wasn’t at that point and didn’t automatically move on to Level 44.
I love this in conjunction with the Clash of Clones. No one is overtasked, you don’t have to show up in town once every 10 minutes to make sure you’ll see the end, and you can play at a decent rate without getting bored. Slow and steady wins the race, and I know I’ll see way more than 38k gold without going crazy on donuts. I almost wonder if there’s a contest between the games for allowing maximum completion for least money.
Love it more into Akira’s quest haven’t even started Database but glad there’s something to do before COC ends. It was already getting a bit old
I am happy with a new level update, Database isn’t exactly a top character but it is something. Clash of clones is very meh, but is it going to end immediately followed by Halloween? it is somehting to hold me over until then.
With the end date, I’m seriously hoping it’ll flow right into Halloween. We may see a week break but I’m hoping we don’t. I love the addition of Database but it’s probably just the nerd in me.
Odd, I’ve levelled up to 44 for a few days but the auto start hasn’t kicked in?!
Have you completed all the previous level quests? Your XP bar can be at a certain level while you are actually progressing through lower ones. In my B game, this didn’t autostart until I remembered I still had Level 43 KL tasks to do.
Ahh, I didn’t realise you had to complete the lower levels taks to auto start the new levels. I have been somewhat neglecting my KL tasks…it’ll take me a while to catch up! Cheers for the prompt reply Wookiee!

Long time dedicated mostly freemium player (I will purchase premium items etc. if I see a good deal and I have a gift card or whatnot)… IMO this update and clash event are a snoozefest! Probably and most likely because of the Family Guys latest event… TinyCo. Has set a high bar (almost too high… Cuz how can they follow Comic-Con?). Take note EA… TinyCo. Is on thier game. Anyone else feel this way or am I just being too critical? Love to hear others opinions if they play simpsons and guy.
I’m also enjoying comic con way more than CoC. I think the best TSTO event so far has been the stonecutter event. The daily puzzles kept my interest much the way Tiny Co’s updates has kept my interest in comic con.
I’m really looking forward to Halloween and Christmas but mainly because I started this spring so I have none of those fun decorations.
Events have good and bad. I think the main reason I like this one is it’s so different. Halloween and Christmas have been fun events in the past.
Any reason why i havent been updated to level 44 ? I play every day usin an xperia z tablet and i can see most of my neighbours have leveled up but not me plz help
Look at your XP bar lower left. What XP level are you on? You need to max out your XP to level up. Also, you need to make sure all your previous levels are done to unlock next levels. Like build Vulgari, itchy n scratchy studio, princess opened in Krustyland.
