CALENDAR TIME!!!

EVENT CALENDAR STARTING 1/3/16, DAY 2 OF ACT 3
As per usual, I will be starting the Calendar one day AFTER the Act releases so you can factor in time you will need to send Characters on tasks, get Buildings, and fully launch the New Event. I will also be stopping it the night BEFORE the Act ends, as it will give you enough time to focus on all the other last minute stuff.
Again, do not panic. Remember that it is slow going at first so you may “appear” to be behind, but as you progress you will start to see that you are getting more and more and more each day. So just go at a pace that fits you, but remember the more you play the more you will get. These are totals you want to reach by the end of each day if possible.
Now you have a basic daily breakdown for 16 days based off of approximately 1713 
Pacifiers a day.
ACT THREE PRIZES
Here’s the rundown of the prizes available during Act 3 that you can win by just playing the game and collecting Pacifiers.
Kearny’s Other Son- 2,700
Mrs. Sinclair- 9,600
Wall E Weasels- 17,800

BONUS ROUND?
YES! The “BONUTS” (Bonus Donuts) keep on coming, even in Act 3. Once you have collected the 27,400 Pacifiers needed for the Personal Prizes, you then will get the chance to earn some more for a Bonus Gift.
My Bonus Gift Rounds were 4000 Pacifiers
Once you reach the 4000 Pacifiers , the 3 Donut Box Pop Up will appear and you have a 1 in 3 chance to tap a box and get 3 Donuts. If you do not get the 3 Donuts, you can pay $150,000 to try again until you get the 3 Donuts you want.
There you have it. A Calendar of Pacifiers …FOR MAGGIE!!! And maybe a few other babies too! 😉

i just wanted to thank all the addicts for all the wonderful calendars they made available thruout event a palooza year 2015 and as this holiday event was the first i got hit with a glitch (stupid trees lol) and i came here hoping for answers and you already had them in hand im truely greatful to you all super happy about Maggie shes so cute!!! heres hoping your 2016 is getting off to a wonderful start and continues to be amazing all year long
Is anyone else getting weird amounts of pacifiers from neighbors? It seems like the first 4 or 5 neighbors give me 6 pacifiers per bear, but after that it drops down to 2 per bear? Anyone have any idea what’s up with thay?

For some reason the quest “Make Bart play Larry the Looter” and “Make Mulhouse watch Bart play Larry the Looter” isn’t working. The “do it” button disappears and neither Bart nor Mulhouse show it as a playable quest. Is anyone else having this problem??

Thanks to Dr Tyler below for saying the babies are for the new year. I didn’t get that! I am having fun tapping bears and I think this questline is one of the best. I am about a day ahead on the pacifiers so that’s good. Hoping I can get a bear to keep!
I am having a hard time getting the task “make Marge walk Maggie” completed. This is the third time I have done the task, and it is yet to be completed. How many times do I have to do the task before it is done? Please help. Ty.
It is the older task that Marge had BEFORE Maggie was brought into the game. Store Maggie and try it.
How exactly can you make more each day? From what I can see everything is based on either tapping bears in your town or a friend’s. Am I missing something?
The slide factory pays 135 every 6(?) hours. Also Maggie and the babysitter have jobs that give pacifiers.There is also the daily signin prize. I barely played Tuesday and Wednesday and I’m about a day and a half ahead. Hang in there, you’ll make it.
Nothing really. Tapping the bears can get you like 34,000 pacifiers. You could do only that and get the last prize. Want to add to that? Play daily and collect the daily reward. Tap bears in friend towns. Send Marge on her task with Maggie exclusively (that’ll get you 26 more per day than you could doing only Maggie tasks).
Well, there’s also the daily reward thing (the one that you get when you log into the game two days in a row…the one that, on the 5th day, when it’s not an event, gives you a mystery box), as well ask Maggie’s tasks and Marge’s one task to take Maggie for a walk. (If you bought the slide factory, I think that also pays out in pacifiers….it’s one of the premium buildings and I think that’s the one, but feel free to correct me if I’ve gotten mixed up as to which one it is.)

Is the amount of bears in your town depend on your level or the size of your town? I noticed the amount of bears I get compared to my friend that just started is different. Should he buy more land? Or do we get the same amount and I’m just missing them amongst my buildings?
Nope. 20 MAX at a time in your town… 40 in the “BANK”… however it depends on how OFTEN you play. If you clear them as soon as they hit in the game, none will even get a chance to “store up”. So it will depend on how long you let your town sit and collect Bears on how many you will see at a time.

I love act 3 – one of the best events so far. Maggie is my favourite character and her quest line is a decent length and really well written. Not to mention that collecting pacifiers unlocks three new characters (rather than just costumes masquerading as new characters.
I’m already at over 10,000 pacifiers over by 2000 more the what’s on the calendar for today.
I’m 2 to 3 days ahead. I’ve triggered the questline to collect pacifiers for wall e weasel.
When does Ling Bouvier get added to the game? She’s part of a collection and I wonder when she does get released

I agree with some prior comments that I’m not a big fan of “Act 3”. While I love the fact that Maggie is finally in the game, this doesn’t seem like it has much to do with the Christmas aspect of things and is really just a Maggie questline suddenly open to all players independent of level. Also I was REALLY disappointed that the ability to make items vanished in this act. I was saving up ornaments to decide what I really wanted (having been punished for pulling the trigger to early at the end of Act 1 on stuff I wasn’t that excited about but thought would vanish) and then when they all disappeared (which was different than what happened at Act 1-2 crossover) and I had 2000 ornaments that vanished I was pretty upset. I will be really upset of some of the things come back as a premium item since I do want some of them and could have had them for free. Oh well,- EA not giving us the full info up front once again.
I’m sorry if you’re disappointed that you didn’t spend your crafting materials, but it’s unfair to say that EA did not give us full info up front…there was a timer counting down right on the crafting screen! (There were also many warnings posted on this site, but you shouldn’t have to rely on this site for that info.)
Also, this wasn’t identified as a “Christmas Event” – again, if you actually read the prize screen, it clearly says “Winter Event.”
I agree with you about the “winter event” since Christmas is over, it is January after all, but I got kinda screwed on the crafting as well. If I remember correctly the “timer” said “new prizes will be added” so I thought I would still be able to craft stuff and they would be adding new crafted items like they did in the transition from act 1 to 2. Oh well, should have checked in with the addicts a little more, but family was in town, and family is more important than TSTO 😉
During Act 1, it said “New prizes will be added…” During Act 2, it said, “Event ends….”
I have to admit, it’s the afternoon right now, a few days in, I’m at about 8,000 pacifiers so I’m ahead of the curve, and it’s just getting to be a grind. I liked the amount of things to do in the first two acts, including various ways to earn mistletoe, but this segment with the bears and about two dozen steps to the story before you can even use the Playdough Factory has just sucked the interest out of me.
By the time I hit about the tenth part of the questline, I was begging for it to be over. Then I came here and saw I was only about halfway through it. Just to earn enough pacifiers, you have to tap bears multiple times a day, get the daily bonus, and maybe do some Maggie jobs along the way – and her 8-hour job only pays about the equivalent of tapping one more bear. I can’t even bring myself to go through and tap bears in other towns.
I usually like the events in this game because they give you a lot to do, craft, and progress toward. The first two acts seemed to cover that well. Even when you were upgrading Moe’s zoo, Krusty’s food truck and so on, it was tapping and waiting but you got mistletoe along the way from each one. Now this one is just a lot of waiting and the tasks don’t even give you extra pacifiers, just money and XP. It’s just so…boring.
Maybe you can use the time to do a bit of designing with your new items and work on the rail yard tasks and such. It’s not like the questline is the only thing to do in the game….
Yeah, I do the railyard stuff weekly in addition to any event-based things, and when I’m specifically focusing on the game for a little while, I’ll do some of the Springfield Heights material production as well.
Marge is able to get pacifiers too with an 8 hour job.
All of Maggie’s tasks currenly earn pacifiers. The 4-hour one is the best “deal.”
Actually, Marge’s 8 hour “Walk Maggie” task gives the most bang for your buck. 18 pacifiers for 8 hours when you can spare them both for that long. Two rounds of Maggie’s 4 hour task only gives you 12.

Unfortunately, my rail yard seems to be demanding mostly glass right now, so Marge has been pretty busy with that today, but I do want to put event currency over an early ending for my rail yard tasks, so I’ll probably switch over to that tomorrow (if I don’t need Marge and/or Maggie for questline tasks).
I’m at 5400 pacifiers now which is a great start … but with the winter break over and reality reasserting itself I doubt I’ll be able to keep up that pace. Hopefully, it will serve as enough of a buffer that I’ll still be able to finish.
This act is very dull – just grind the bears – but the quest line and rewards make it worthwhile anyway. The quest line is the funniest in a long time and I love the rewards.
It’s interesting that they tacked these babies onto the Christmas event. I suppose they couldn’t think of a good ‘baby’ event but wanted to get the content out anyway. This would have made a good level as well, but they probably didn’t want everyone to have to wait until level 60 to get Maggie (although we’ve waited years).
Hopefully new players will be able to get Maggie somehow after the event is over.

Is the only way to earn pacifiers through tapping bears and Maggie jobs? It’s going to be hard to get 1,700 a day doing only that.

While this is true, don’t be sad. I thought about it and realized that bears hibernate during the winter. (The bears in our town are imaginary for a reason.) Therefore, when all the snow and ice structures melt, that bear in the cave might wake up and that growl when tapped won’t be as illogical. Call it lazy programming but I say they simply removed the animation for the moment.

Sweet! Just unlocked Kearney’s Other Son (Ralph-style tappin’ – no tactics here!) and i was sure he was going to be an NPC… but he’s not! Gets a task straight away!
So this last act is going to rely on heavy tapping – no rewards for quests, building upgrades or the likes. Just bears? And just when I have to go back to work and not so much time for tapping anymore. From the first couple of days, it feels like this might get much tighter than the previous acts.

How can you earn donuts with finding Maggie? I have the real maggie, right now on the 4 hour task. First a short film appeared, then this dialogue between Marge and Homer popped up talking about how they can’t find Maggie. You get to earn donuts when tapping 3 times per day when finding Maggie. They advice you to turn up the sound, the warmer/closer you get the better you’ll hear Maggie. Anyone that can help?

On to act 3… I flipping love it! Maggie is here, I’ve got two more babies to work towards and I paid out for babysitter bandit- who’s walking animation alone is worth the spend.
I like events where I can get new characters and buildings and so I thought Halloween was a bit meh this year. But Christmas has given us the orphans, Maggie, baby kearney, Gerald, the strict daycare lady who’s name I forgot and babysitter bandit! I’m so happy I could cry!
