It looks like from many requests, EA has decided to bring back the Superheroes to our lil Springfields for lots more adventures, heroic deeds, and DONUTS!
With a New Event, I just know what you all are gonna ask me for. Well I just can’t do it. Nope. Comic Book Guy told me it was the “WORST. CALENDAR.EVER!!” and blogged about me. So … done… not gonna do it… not for a bajillion space bucks. Nope.
IT’S CALENDAR TIME!!

EVENT CALENDAR STARTING 6/15/16, DAY 2 OF ISSUE 1
As per usual, I will be starting the Calendar one day AFTER the Act releases so you can factor in time you will need to send Characters on tasks, get Buildings, and fully launch the New Act. I will also be stopping it the night BEFORE the Act ends, as it will give you enough time to focus on all the other last minute stuff.
Now you have a basic daily breakdown for 13 days based off of approximately 4074
Brass Knuckles a day.
Again, do not panic. Remember that it is slow going at first so you may “appear” and feel like you are behind, but as you progress through the Questlines and Event you will start to see that you are getting more and more and more each day. Just go at a pace that fits you, but remember the more you play the more you will get. These are totals you want to reach by the end of each day if possible.
ISSUE ONE PRIZES
Here’s the rundown of the prizes available during Issue 1 that you can win by just playing the game and collecting Brass Knuckles.

You will get this once you have completed collection of the Personal Prizes.
Superhero Bonus. Every 10,000 extra you’ll have a chance for donuts. Once you’ve collected the additional 10,000 Brass Knuckles, the 3 Mystery Boxes Pop Up will appear. Tapping on them can earn you up to 3 Donuts. Of course if you don’t get the Donuts you want, you can always pay to try again.

Can someone explain the timer for felon battles in a friends town? I know you have to do almost all of them to get the final prize and I know you can only do 3 per day. Yesterday I did my three battles, and today I logged in to do my next three and I got a pop up screen saying I already did my three battles and that I have to wait until tomorrow, but I haven’t done any battles at all today so just wondering how the timer works/when it resets. Any help is greatly appreciated.

For some reason, since the update hit, i can send my kids to two tasks at a time, for example, Milhouse is jumping in the bounce castle, and doing cardtricks at the same time. And yes, i get money from both tasks. Does anyone else have this? Or is it just me?

Ugh, I can’t even log in today… Playing on BlueStacks since my phone can’t keep up with the massive updates. I was able to play yesterday without any issues, but now it crashes after the load screen… any known solutions for this?

The more the game advances the less likely it is to run on older devices. I currently have a Galaxy s6 (128gb), and last year everything ran so smooth it was amazing. This year, with this event, while it’s still running well i’ve noticed a bit more lagging.
And my previous phone, a Galaxy S4, wouldn’t event support it right now.
As the collector’s car faces the opposite way to every other vehicle in the game ……………
It is the first car in the game that you can place at your drive-in movie and it will face the screen

It was possible to place a road under the Mr. powers car, but that glitch has been repaired.

It was fixen/spoiled shortly after it appeared.
Same with my ice cream truck…it might as well have been an ice cream store, since it ain’t ever gonna drive to somewhere else (unless they bring back the ability to put road under it someday)! 😉
I got Wind Lad and Citizen Solar just now. I’m not sure if there new just for the game or have them ever been in a Simpsons episode?

I’m always impressed with your origin posts, Wookiee. Aside from being funny and entertaining, they’re always chalk full of mega cool “ah ha” moments. Just curious, how do you go about starting your research? (i.e., homing in on the origin episode if you don’t know what it is offhand). As a tangent of this tangent (is that an arc cosine or something? My trig is pretty hazy), if you had to guess, which Simpsons episode have you seen the most times?
Definitely seen the monorail episode the most because I love it so much but I think I’ve seen every episode at leat once. I have a giant compendium book of The Simpsons that I use if the origin doesn’t pop into my head and Bunny doesn’t know either. I use interent searches (i.e. ‘cactus Simpsons’) when I’m really stumped. SOmetimes I’m surprised by how much info I retain. I don’t per se have episode names memorized but I know plot lines and jokes. If you know a line, internet searches are easy. Basically I just watch the episodes, take images and write as I go. Then I put the final images together and edit what I wrote hoping it’s cohesive and entertaining.
I will pass on them. I have a baker’s dozen of Superheroes. I bought all the SHs during the first SH event.
is there a limit to the total amount of brass knuckles that can be dropped from the criminals in your neighbours’ towns?
It’s probably supposed to be 90 actions/day…but it may be less. We’re working on a neighbors post and that’ll have the info in it (once we test)

I seldomly visit my neighbors, it used to be:
“tappa-tappa-tappa, next one”.
Now it is:
“tappa…….lallala…….tappa…….lallala……………….tappa………………, next one”
And the result, mostly no bonuts. It’s making me nuts.
(I know, I’ve posted “patient, young grasshopper, patient”)
This could be fun, so long as EA gets a clue with NO NPC’s (I just store mine ’cause they’re a waste)!

Technically the “Alien” prize is an NPC, a stationary NPC, but since its labelled “Alien”, that to me makes it a character of sorts.
Why are all the superheroes men? It’s such a bore that !
I realise this should be directed at EA and it will.
Overall I feel disappointed and fed up with it.
SLICK, females are coming up in Act 2 & Act 3. EA decided to save the best til last😉…..💜X

Maybe because there weren’t too many female superheroes in the show, and EA avoids putting in “new” things, not present in the show. From memory I can think of three female superheroes: Charcoal Briquette, Xena and a costume for Lisa. And I bet we’ll see at least one of them during the event.
Old King Coal is the final prize of Act 1, Petroleum Rex is already in the game, so the other two will be there too, to form The Polluting Four.
If anything was deserving of a crossover, it’s this event. They could at least give us Clobberella!
One good thing about this event is that we still appear to be getting donuts dropping for neighbour actions. I visited my neighbours last night and a donut dropped from one of the crims.

As far as I can remember this was true in several previous events. Looks to me, that lack on neghbour donuts during the wild west event was a bug.
I call those bugs EA-features 😈
I’m traveling this and next week, so a little worried about a few 6-8 hour plane rides in my future. Debating getting the Burns skin or satellite for the potential bump…

TYVM….I was really curious to find out whether I was behind our ahead or right on target and happy to learn that I’m about a day and a half ahead (and should gain some more ground when I get to play my final battles of the day soon). 🙂
Also. With this event, my BIGGEST concern is crafting those decorations and buildings in time! Not worried about collecting knuckles, just collecting enough cards to get it all. It looks doable with some dedicated log-ins, but I haven’t done any math yet.
I really enjoy the music and fights, but visiting friends closes me out after 5-10 people, and I don’t know how to ration the bandages and drinks. Sorry, neighboreenos! I might not get to you too often!
I’m using time to heal my superheroes between battles (and science water during) instead of crafting band-aids. I’ve already crafted the Lucite pit. Should be do-able with a little strategizing.
I’m trying to save up for the most expensive one first and work my way down. That way I feel like I can push through last minute haha
My boyfriend, bless his soul. Every ten minutes, he asks me, “When do I get to fight those villains? … What are those, bandages!? I don’t have them! … Why don’t I have the fist thing? … Where’s my scoreboard?”

No – I think Scuffy means how much it will cost to try a second or third bonus box, if the first one doesn’t have three donuts in it.
Thanks sandra. That’s exactly what I meant. There’s a “new math” when trying to accumulate donuts now that we’ve reached the end of levels. I’ve crunched the numbers and (for many players), it’s not always wise to pay for the extra chance at one or two donuts! 🙂

I myself am more of a Starwars Fan, and I doubt they could even get Star Trek stuff since TinyCo already did that? Whatever. I just want Jim-Jam Bonks, maybe even some actual licensed characters?
Now that’s an event I would spend tons of donuts on characters for. 🙂
(P.S: Maybe we could get The Addict’s resident Walking Carpet as a character, with Alissa and Bunny to come later? Perhaps this is a bit of a stretch. 😉 )

A day in and I don’t even want to open the app. I’ve found everything about this to be boring and tedious thus far. First time I’ve ever felt this way about a Simpsons event.
I think your state of mind is just affecting your perception, perhaps. There’s a lot of stuff and strategizing to do and that may feel like more of a burden than fun, if you don’t feel like concentrating.
I’d suggest taking a break from this game and finding something else that might do a better job of entertaining you until you’ve had more time to “recover,” but you might want to hang in here and just do the best you can, without stressing over it too much, because your future you might be annoyed with your present you for not picking up the prizes when they were available.
SANDRA, nice response. The reason why I play all events. When COTC was on (I loved it, btw) lots of folks were moaning. With the Wild West event I used windmills, stocks, outdoor loos in my decor & all for free. Anyone who was new to the game or didn’t play it, wld have had to purchase aforementioned items with Donuts. This time around, those wanting Radioactive Man, Collider etc better have those pink sprinklies ready. That’s the beauty of storage. Play the game (casually or otherwise), have fun (if you can) & when it’s all over just put it all in storage. You never know when you might need it & maybe rue the day you ‘couldn’t be bothered’ or ‘it doesn’t fit in with my SF. This first Act prizes are not sll to my liking but it won’t stop me having a laugh & trying to clear them all. Happy tapping, zapping, battling…..💜X
I’m like you with the act 1 prizes, i’m not overly inspired to get them, but I will, and then more than likely store them (unless they drop cash). There seems to be a lot of content for this event, it’s certainly been ramped up.

I like the event but the 6s tasks and all the reading was a crazy start. Bartman is on his 24 hour task, battled a few neighbors, I’m over 6700 brass knuckles and not one hit me. Thanks for the calendar.
I’ve got a funny little bug with the Nightmare Pile and the Moonbounce, where I send kids on jobs, then send the rest of my town on jobs via the Employment Manager, and the two kids each wind up doing 2 jobs simultaneously: Both the “Wear a Costume”/”Bounce,” and their regular 4-hour job (don’t know if it works with other job times; doesn’t work with Duff Gardens, for example.)
I have the same thing with the Moonbounce. Sherri & Teri are sent to the Moonbounce, then they are still free to do an additional task.
It also works with Open Air Stage & The Saloon. Didn’t know Snake was such a great multi tasker, playing with Jeremy & getting up to lawlessness at the same time😂…..💜X
I didn’t realize we could still use the Saloon/wild west town square until I read your post. I’m happy to say I’ll be using it now thanks to your post.
