Are We There Yet?! Are We There Yet?! Are We There Yet?! Are We There Yet?! Are We There Yet?! Are We There Yet?! Are We There Yet?! Are We There Yet?! Are We There Yet?!
Here we are rounding the final Issue of the Second Edition of Superheroes Event! Hope you have been having a POW, ZOINK, PEW PEW good time. 🙂
IT’S CALENDAR TIME!!
A few quick FYI’s
- For the Basic Rundown of Issue 3 of Superheroes 2, go HERE
- For “ADD ME” Requests, go HERE
- For everything else… GO TO THE EVENT PAGE HERE!
EVENT CALENDAR STARTING 7/13/16, DAY 2 OF ISSUE 3
As per usual, I will be starting the Calendar one day AFTER the Act releases so you can factor in time you will need to send Characters on tasks, get Buildings, and fully launch the New Act. I will also be stopping it the night BEFORE the Event ends, as it will give you enough time to focus on all the other last minute stuff.
Now you have a basic daily breakdown for 13 days based off of approximately 7970
Crab Juice a day.
Again, do not panic. Remember that it is slow going at first so you may “appear” and feel like you are behind, but as you progress through the Questlines and Event you will start to see that you are getting more and more and more each day. Just go at a pace that fits you, but remember the more you play the more you will get. These are totals you want to reach by the end of each day if possible.
ISSUE THREE PRIZES
Here’s the rundown of the prizes available during Issue 3 that you can win by just playing the game and collecting
Crab Juice.
Issue 3 Personal Prizes
First Aid Kit (2o band-aids)- 5,600 ![]()
BONUS ROUND?
YES! Once you have collected 103,600
Crab Juice… the Bonus Round will come up. For every 12000
Crab Juice extra you collect, you will get the chance at the 3 Mystery Boxes to get 1, 2, or 3 Free Donuts. WOOHOO!!
There you have it. A Calendar of
Crab Juice for all of you extreme Addicts out there.
What do you think of it so far? Where are you in the game? How are your totals coming along? Would you really drink Crab Juice? Have you already? Let us know.
~Bunny

I have 54 000 as of right now, I’m a day ahead,
Also, by act, here’s the daily breakdown, understanding also that it took a little time to build up the levels and enemy strength for more of a bonus.
1: 52962 Brass Knuckles to unlock all prizes, average of 4074 per day. Tapping criminals earned 3 each.
2: 64753 Soilant Red to unlock all prizes, average of 4981 per day. Tapping criminals earned 4 each.
3: 103600 Crab Juice to unlock all prizes, average of 7970 per day. Tapping criminals earns 5 each.
Battle rewards have always been 350 plus a bonus relative to how much health the other side had.
There was an increase of 11791 needed to unlock all Act 2 prizes compared to Act 1, so a similar increase for Act 3 would have resulted in 76544 total, considerably less than the 103600 they set.
Based on this, it would be reasonable for EA to reduce the total needed down to the 80000 area.
Wait to see what happens tomorrow…
Exxxxcellent.
You’re missing other sources of “income,” including neighbor visits, social battles, the summer mansion (more fighters to send there now), the soilant red factory and, most of all, the 55 you get for each fighter that you send in to lose!
I only tap from about 9:30am to 10 or 11pm (and often forget to tap on time, so I don’t always get four rounds of fighting in before its time for bed) and I’m about three days ahead of the calendar. I chalk most of that up to using the “lose-to-win” strategy…although it takes a bit more thought, it’s actually made the game less stressful, because I don’t have to freak out if timeslip makes me miss a day’s neighbor visits or social battles or whatever.
Most of that “income” is very minor compared to the rest. To put it another way, though I was doing the mansion stuff to unlock a larger tapping radius, I hardly did any neighbor tapping the first two acts and still had more than enough to get the bonuts twice.
The factory gives so little every 8 hours, it just doesn’t make up for much of a change. I did the social battles as well, though. Until today, I didn’t even need to bother with the lose-to-win strategy.
That’s why the total was unrealistically high for normal rates of play.
Like others, I’ve had to start doing the “lose-to-win” strategy with the battles along with sending the characters on that job at the mansion. I haven’t been doing the tapping in friend towns (except for the daily battles) and in both of the first two acts I got bonuts twice.
I started out ahead of the curve when Act 3 began but day by day, even with regular playing, my total has been getting closer and closer to the daily target count. Right now I’m at just over 42,000 after doing the battles from overnight and should unlock Bouncing Battle Baby Maggie later in the day.
I think EA definitely miscalculated the earning rates on this one and we should be expecting some kind of update soon to account for it, whether it’s an increase in payouts or, more likely, a reduction in what’s needed for the rest of the unlocks.
Yeah, this has definitely been the hardest act to keep up on in an event in quite awhile. I just got the Maggie costume this morning and usually I’m a couple days ahead of the calendar by this point.
Same here. Way behind. Especially since I spent the past 2 days in a car driving for 10 hours. I was ahead before the trip and wasn’t expecting to lose so much ground that I’d be days behind.
I was ahead of both Issues 1 & 2 and even got bonuts both times. However, I’m falling behind on Issue 3. I play at the same frequency, but seem to be falling short of the daily amounts needed. Anyone else having a hard time keeping up on Issue 3?
Same here, playing same frequency as the 1st 2 that I completed early with ease. Barely staying on pace this time. Have started losing the battles, hoping that will help.
It will definitely help. I’ve been losing battles since the third day of the event, and have really benefited from it. 8 rounds of bonuts in 7 bonut days in Issue 1 (22 donuts). 9 rounds of bonuts in 10 bonut days in Issue 2 (27 donuts). And almost at my first round of bonuts in Issue 3, just about 12 hours after unlocking Dr. Crab.
As American poet Carl Sandburg once said, “To be a good loser is to learn how to win.”
Are you playing the “lose-to-win” strategy? It really makes a big difference!
Same here. I’m actually playing harder yet slowly losing ground. Something isn’t right.
Really struggling with issue 3, about 10000 behind already, playing at the same frequency as issue 1 and 2. I’m baffled never had an issue finishing the prize track before
I sympathize donjay – I play as often as I can and I’m finding really difficult to keep up. I had no problems in Issue 1 or 2 either. I wish the questline had been worth a bit more crab juices or they added some extra ways to earn crab juices. I am keeping my fingers crossed that when the questline continues there will be something to boost our earning power.
I’m sure you (Donjay and everyone who echoed Donjay’s sentiments in their replies) will all unlock Dr. Crab in no time. EA will either lower the threshold or increase the questline payouts going forward.
In the meantime, you may want to check out the lose-to-win Advance battle strategy on the post way back in Issue 1 about Battle Strategy.
The calendar shows a daily requirement of 7,970 Crab Juice per day. Unless you’re losing, it’s quite hard to reach that unless you check in every four hours five or six times per day.
Let’s assume you can’t and can only make the effort to log in just four distinct times a day (breakfast, lunch, dinner, bedtime), it might not be quite feasible to attain the daily average.
4,200 = Defeating 3 felon groups four times in a day + all the damage bonus.
800 = Capturing 40 felons four times in a day.
600 = Daily bonus for first win of the day.
300 = Defeating 3 neighbours hero teams in social battles each day + all the damage bonus
240 = Sending BBB, CB, CG, Cf, CS, FB, OKC, PM, SD, TC to Burns Mansion four times in a day (even more if you have any premium characters).
110 = Tapping 3 criminals at 17 of your neighbours.
50 = 700 for completing the questline thus far, which comes out to roughly 50 a day (53.8 to be more precise). Also note, the questline will most likely continue on the 19th, so this number will probably go higher.
Total = 6,300
So things that helped me unlock Dr. Crab already by getting from 6,300 to well over 7,970 include:
(Obviously it helps that I took part in Superheroes 1 and had those characters already. And with KEM farming, I was able to purchase a few of the premium characters this time around. But the following will help even if you weren’t around last time and only have the freemium characters.)
– read up and apply the lose to win Advanced strategy.
– click ‘X’ on daily quests that don’t reward you 500 Crab Juice.
– if you can, try to check in every 4 hours while you’re awake.
And most important,
– don’t give up.
EA always makes things easier if they messed up. Just look what happened to One Week Wonder Films. 115 Social Battles to just 77. Over 60 of my neighbours already have One Week Wonder Films, and we still have at least 9 days to go. I wouldn’t be surprised if the decrease the threshold for Dr. Crab or increase the reward for questlines or just have a huge bonus of Crab Juice on the 19th.
Good luck!
Because it was such a small amount, I left it out of the numbers, and was going to write a quick sentence about it, but forgot.
But you’ll also get 18 to 27 from Soilant Red, which drops 9 every 8 hours. Don’t forget to tap on it too.
Ahh, you’re supposed to lose battles. Weird, but worth a shot. I wonder why EA programmed it that way (kind of lame). Regardless, thank you everyone for your help. I’ll start losing most of my in-town battles now and see what happens.
I’m pretty sure they didn’t intend to program it that way. Probably just an oversight on their part. An oversight I and others took full advantage of.
Maybe they did… Perhaps they did it to give more “serious” players a chance to do more strategizing for more gain. I think it makes the event more “dimensional” – you can still get to the end by being a frequent, but casual, tapper, or you can decide to send since extra time strategizing and get some bonut rounds in. Makes sense to me!
Yep. Was ahead on issues 1 and 2, even after being late to the game on issue 1, but struggling on issue 3. Checking in as often as I can but only on 43,000.
Yep, steadily losing ground. A day and a half behind now and haven’t got the Maggie costume yet. Not sure why as I completed the first two acts in time :/
Just to amend my numbers, the latest questline that just released provides 24,000 Crab Juice, not including the small bonus for villains attacking Pinchy.
Required daily amount 7,970.
1,900 = 24,700 for completing the questline + all the bonus for each character that attacks Pinchy.
Total = 8,150
Again, this 8,150 is a conservative estimate for those who check in four times a day. And who knows, their may be another quest after or more rewards for completing the newest questline.
Either way, things are much less bleak now for those worried than they were an hour ago.
Like hundreds of others reporting on the web, have not been able to look go in to EA account for hours. All was fine until about 3:30 east coast time.
Need advise please, should buy the solar and Wind superheroes? 1000% freemium player here.
Here’s what Alissa wrote up…
http://tstoaddicts.com/2016/06/20/should-i-spend-donuts-on-citizen-solar-and-wind-lad/
Went camping this week, now I’m several days behind!
I was ahead during the second issue (slightly) so I saved up 12 groups of battles (max amount) and have been purposely losing since you gain more xp (thanks for the post on the battle strategy!!!) So I am already at 40100 cans already. I’m a freemium player and I have yet to buy any of the extra superhero characters from this year or last year, just the ones I’ve won through prize tracks. When the events just started (I’ve been playing forever) I always had a hard time getting all the prizes but lately all the events have been relatively easy to get everything on the prize tracks and I don’t have to stress that I won’t get them all.
Just breathe an enjoy the game everyone! You will get the prizes if you open the game a few times a day.
I’m behind!! Been playing Pokemon go ;(
“For the Basic Rundown of Issue 2 of Superheroes 3,”
Shouldn’t that read “Issue 3 of Superheroes 2”?
Maybe 😉
I was highly medicated when I put this together and the Social Calendar. Lol. I am surprised they were coherent. 😛
As always, quick with a dumb🐴 remark…..”
Were those meds rehabilitative, or recreational?
I remain,
🐴🐴🐴🐴🐴
(Seriously, I, and all of us I am sure, remain concerned for you well being and quicker recuperation)
Lol. Recreational leaves would probably do my body better than this prescription crap.
Thanks for the calendar Bunny. Also thanks thanks to Alissa & Wookiee for all your hard work during this event. You three are amazing and all deserve a nice long vacation!😎
My body needs to come OFF its medical vacation. I am so done with it. Lol. 😉
Any progress (in a positive direction) at all? I feel so bad for you! 🙁
YES! FINALLY!
I am slowing coming out of this cocoon of another world. I want ME back. I will be there eventually. I am just stubborn and wanted it overnight, my body decided differently. Lol. Poor Alissa, she’s been doing so much without me around much to support. Hope to keep changing that. 🙂
SO glad to hear that! 🙂
Bunny, medical vacations don’t count. I want you to be well enough to play again (want “our” Bunny Back. Miss your humor, hope you feel better soon. Thanks for your work during your illness. I’m still sending you good thoughts🎈🎈❤️❤️
To sing Handsome Hank’s response:
We want our Bunny back. We want our Bunny back. We want our Bunny back. We want our Bunny back. Bunny back. Bunny back, Ribs.
Heheheh
Tastes like chicken? Lol 😛
Awww thanks darlin. I miss you guys too. 🙂
Damn.
Damn, damn, damn, damn, damn.
My trip starts on Friday the 22nd. Ugh.
Won’t have steady internet access until the 25th.
Damn.
Don’t worry – I’m off on holiday for two weeks from this Saturday with no guarantee that the place I’m staying at has free wifi. (Hopefully, I’ll have got the Sciencewater cooler by Saturday lunchtime, as I’d rather not use doughnuts – I got quite a bit of money thanks to Wales making the Euro 2016 semifinal – on something I know I won’t be using.)
I’m tapping as often as I can through the week to at least get Maggie before I leave. I’m hoping some of the airports have WiFi. My least real chance at getting all the prizes will be Saturday morning. Unless….I get the wifi on the plane…. Hmmm…… Hmmm……
Out of all of these, I really want Dr.Lenny’s Lab.
Luv the lowdown on the prizes…Gimmie Gimmie!
Still hoping for Death Mountain and Dr Colossus in the store. And it’d be nice to complete the Fossil Fuel Four with Charcoal Briquette.
Charcoal Birquette is in the Crafting Menu for Cards.
Almost 8000 a day seems a bit steep, especially since they haven’t increased the payout from the battles, which is the main income. You can only collect so many felons a day, the increase there doesn’t help a lot. It’s going to be really hard for freemium players…
Well, they are giving us 200 more crab juice than we got of soilant red for the bonus for the “first battle of the day” (which always occurs for me towards the end of my night, but whatever….). So, with that and with each criminal yielding more, I suspect that, in the end, it probably all evens out (or comes close to it).
I’ve learned to trust EA in this sort of thing….if you play regularly (even as a purely freemium player who’s not at a super-low level, but not necessarily at max level either), you should pretty much always be able to finish the prize track on, or ahead, of schedule. When they’ve made it look Iike you can’t (like they did with the social battles at the beginning of this event), they pretty much always fix it at some point so you can. Moral of the story: if you play regularly and intelligently, don’t worry – it should all work out fine! 🙂
Thanks for the pep talk 🙂
I am not worried about my own progress, though. I am already quite a bit ahead, I was just thinking it might be a bit hard on freemium players.
Better to be a little ahead than a little behind, or, in my case,
A big behind.
Or so I’ve been told, numerous times.
Hmmmm…crab juice!
Yuk!
Calendar yay ♡
Thank you for this calendar ! Not enough Tech/purple fighters though… especially since I couldn’t get King Coal during Issue 1. u_u
Then yay for Charquol Briquette (sp?), she’s tech and only 4000 playing cards!
Yes ! It was a nice surprise ^_^
Sciencewater (6 Pack), I’m not online right now but i think it was a 9 pack. sorry 4 being a smartass :X
You’re right
Right about the former —- “a 9 pack” ?, or,
Right about the latter — ?
( and I am not ‘sorry’ )
When they’re right they’re right.
(I’m not ‘sorry’ either.)
Is any one having bug issues with this I’m doing social battles then go back in to my game and the felons are back yet it said I’ve 4 hours to wait ???? Any help would be great thanks and I’m on a kindle.
So wait… are you saying that you’re getting extra opportunities to run through the social battles, beyond three per day? I *wish* I had that “bug”! I have an overabundance of science water and band-aids, because I just don’t really need them… if I could do more than three social battles per day, I’d be healing my felons constantly!
It sounds like you mean Felon Battles in your town, and not Social Battles in your neighbours town.
Few people have reported a similar glitch both in the last Issue and again this Issue. I WISH I had that glitch/bug. It just means you have extra opportunities to fight felon groups and earn event currency. I’d easily be several thousand Crab Juices ahead if I was so lucky. My advise, don’t report it and enjoy it whilst it lasts.
Yeah, I have this bug but wanted to check it out before I posted, in case I was imagining it. I’ve done it 5 times now, so it looks repeatable. For me what happens is if I visit the friends screen after ‘popping’ the felons out of orphan alley, when I return to my Springfield, there are more to pop. This only works once and I have to wait then for the four hours. Still means twice as many felon groups as before, which is nice.
However, there also seems to be an additional similar bug (only seen twice, so don’t quote me yet) by which if the game kicks me out, the felons reappear for popping again.
Now closing in on 1000 losses. Like the 1990s Phillies.
I had an issue last night where I did all three social battles but I wouldn’t register that I completed the third one. I had to wait until this morning for it to finally let me recomplete the third battle. Kind of a bummer bc now I have to wait for the 24 hour time to reset. It won’t reset until tomorrow morning instead of this evening 🙁
Thank you for the Calendar, Bunny
At least there are no NPC’s this time (yay!)
I can’t wait to see which new Buildings generate XP & $
And what Tasks Dr. Crab comes with 🙂
Thanks , as always Bunny. 🙂
i have too many gem stones and cant really update my fighters since they are at their max, what do i do with them just wait??
They can only be used to upgrade fighters so if you get any more they will be useful again. Otherwise I wouldn’t worry about it.
thanks. i wish they could be used for something else! upgrading a fighter is one of my daily challenges and unless i purchase a new one i cant really use these gosh darn gems…maybe once Bouncing Maggie arrives
If I were you, I’d just skip that challenge. Don’t forget, there’s always a chance that you’ll get a donut challenge in its place! 🙂
What about Charcoal Briquette??
She’s not a prize on the prize track
She is, however, an item you can craft.
And comes with a questline.
You guys are a well-oiled machine! Wanted the Turbo Tappin’ post and, bam!, it was there. Wanted the calendar – bam! right there.
You guys are indispensable! 🙂
one of us is starting to run on fumes lol
Anything we can do to help fuel the tank?
Cheetos work for me lol
Pretty sure that they contain all the major food groups and vitamins
I never knew what Wookiees ate before. Now I know. For some reason I thought maybe they run on batteries like Furby Dolls. (We never see them eat, right?) Well, no possible battery way… but when I saw “fumes” I thought of exploding batteries, fire, and all that fur… Now I know better. When Wookiee runs low on fumes immediately douse with Cheetos. That will save our a hero!
Safi – Please copy and paste this for future reference in case of emergency. We may need it.
I’ve always preferred Mogwai to Furbys
Hmmm….would that be alcohol fumes? You wish? After all the work the TSTOAddicts put in for this event we ALL owe you a drink or 10. Thanks guys and gals for staying on top of everything for us.
Hey, whatever it takes to get you through the day. Since Bunny is sick, does that mean she’s the one toking up? I hear it helps.
I’m glad they kept the bonuts at 12,000 this Issue, after upping it from 10,000 last Issue.
Thanks for the calendar Bunny!
I can’t wait to win Dr. Zoidburg… I mean, Dr. Crab! :p
Besides the claws, I don’t see the resemblance. But any mention of Zoidburg is a good mention.
~18 hours into the event and you have this available for us?
I don’t know
if I should hug you and thank you, or,
If I should slap you and suggest that you get a life.
You are terrific!
Thanks much-ly
I know! I am only on part two. (When issue three started, I had just put them on 8hours. Do’h
